I never write reviews but I feel like I have to take the time to write this one. First, they dont even remotely deserve one star but as we know thats my only option. I have NEVER been so upset with a company and I TRULY feel like they are scam artists. Right Choice Movers packed our house for a long distance move and also loaded our moving containers. All seemed to go ok until of course we got to our destination and unpacked. Every single piece of furniture was damaged, that is no exaggeration. The movers at our new location that we hired to unpack our moving containers were in shock by the way our containers were originally packed. They took dozen of photos to protect themselves because items were packed so incorrectly and we were finding so many damaged things. My beautiful wooden bedroom dressers have huge gouges and scratches in them from not being wrapped, we have a broken TV, my babys brand new, never before used crib is a mess with huge black scratches, gouges, and chipped paint, there were two boxes with glass frames and wooden collections pieces that were literally all thrown into a box together, on top of one another, not wrapped, no cushions between them, our expensive leather sofa we had to save a year for has rips and tears all over, original paintings were just thrown into the containers not wrapped and have scratches all over, but the most heart breaking...SEVERAL pieces of my grandmothers crystal (some from her wedding 70 or so years ago) were shattered from the rushed, awful packing job this company did. There are no words to express how disappointed I am and full of regret I am for hiring them. When I called to explain what had happened AND emailed over pictures of all the damaged items, they were rude and short with me. First asking me if I was there to "supervise" the packing. I was not aware your employees needed supervision for one, two, there were three of them who were packing in three different rooms. Did I need to bring my whole family down so each of your employees were being supervised??Heres where their scam pays off...because I didnt use their moving truck and they didnt move my items themselves to the next location, theres nothing they would do for me. Think about that...they could literally do the shittiest job they wanted at packing my items, throwing things in boxes with complete disregard, knowing if something broke, they can get away with it. Theres ABSOLUTELY nothing protecting the customer. Im in complete shock that they can see the damages and choose to do nothing for their carelessness. So there nothing more I can do but stare at my broken, once beautiful, 70 year old crystal pieces and my babys brand new crib with giant gashes all over it and write this review. I URGE you not to use them...you will most definitely be sorry.

Let me just say this: I am not always great about leaving reviews if Im happy with the service, but for Right Choice Movers, Im making an exception! I wasnt sure what to expect for my move, given that Id only gone with this company based on the reviews and didnt know anyone who had used them, personally. The crew that came out was extremely professional, amazing at their jobs, and efficient! They went above and beyond what I was expecting and treated my belongings with more care than even I may have! Mike (one of the general managers, I believe), led the crew and seriously took such a literal and figurative weight off of my shoulders. I have never been more happy with a companies service, especially a moving company. As someone who worked in customer service for over 9.5 years, I cant express enough how awesome this place is! Im recommending them to anyone I know thats moving and I know for sure I already have 2 people who will be using them in the future. Kudos to the team that delivered to me and to this company, because I could not be more impressed. Thanks so much for making my move as easy and painless as possible. If/when I move again, there is no question that Ill use Right Choice Movers!

Well...the guys showed up an hour late and instead of having two 24 foot trucks they had only one 24 footer and one much smaller. That resulted in not being able to fit a number of hard to move items and Ive been spending the last couple of weekends moving that stuff myself. My intention was a one day move but its been stretched out over a few weeks. The lead guy showed up and said "Were professionals"...but professionals dont show up late and with smaller trucks than what they said or what I was quoted. Sure, they worked hard and were nice and I gave them a generous tip but Id say they got 75% of the job completed. The laugher was the offer of a $15 discount for being an hour late...and ultimately an unfinished job. Sure, they said they could make another trip but at $50 per guy per hour I was faced with at least another $200 tacked on top to complete the job. This would have been a non-issue if the crew was prompt, showed up with the right trucks so the job could be completed in the amount time at the price I was quoted. Their number one priority is client satisfaction and that was not accomplished. I look forward to a response from Right Choice leadership.

I first used Right Choice Movers a year ago when I made a local move in Minneapolis. They were so great I decided to use them again for my move a few weeks ago and I could not have been happier with my decision. In both of my experiences, the movers were incredibly polite, knowledgeable, professional, and quick! They arrived ahead of schedule, packed everything within our timeframe, and packed the truck so well that absolutely nothing broke or jostled around in transit. Its very clear that theyre professionals and know what theyre doing! My only negative comment last year would have been their customer service over the phone...getting everything set up and confirmed was challenging and did not feel all that professional. However, this year the experience was flawless. They called me back right away, sent a confirmation e-mail, and followed up before the move to confirm again. Theyve definitely improved this aspect of the business! Right Choice Movers exceeded my expectations on both occasions and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

I have used Right Choice Movers twice. The first time, I was moving into an apartment for graduate school and hired some movers through Uhaul. They couldnt get my new couch into the apartment. I called around and Right Choice Movers came out and were able to haul the couch over the railing. When it came time to move again, I called Right Choice. Every interaction with them was courteous and professional. They dropped off free boxes for me to use in my move, walked through my apartment with me and wrapped nice furniture with saran wrap and furniture pads, and constantly worked with a sense of urgency. I waited until my apartment was fully unpacked to write this review so I can tell you that nothing was broken or significantly damaged in the move, and this includes a lot of glass items like a 3-foot round glass tabletop and a piano. If you are looking for an affordable, professional, quality moving company, I highly recommend Right Choice Movers.
