I hired "quality" moving and storage a week and a half before my move to make sure I was prepared. Moving is stressful as it is, so I wanted to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. My circumstances were unique. I had to be out of my old place by noon and couldnt move into my new place until noon the next day. This required to me either load and unload a truck into storage then load and unload again, or rent a truck and keep my stuff in there over night. I chose the latter, which was discussed with the gentleman over the phone when I made my reservation. I received a confirmation call a couple days prior to my move. The woman I spoke with was extremely rude and condescending. Luckily that call didnt require me to spend much time on the phone with her. My appointment was made for 8am. The movers CALLED me at 807am to tell me theyre just leaving their office. At 830am they arrived. We went to my apt, they took one look around and told me that because I rented my own truck that they couldnt move anything into it that had to be wrapped (couch, entertainment center, dresser -- basically everything I needed to hire movers for in the first place). They basically were asking for $170/hour (which Im seeing is $10-20 more than what others were quoted) to move boxes, which Im fully capable of doing myself. These terms were never presented to me the neither of the THREE times I spoke with this company over the phone. Had I been aware, assuming most companies have the same restrictions, I would have found friends to help me and overpayed them instead. Thank god Im not disabled and had one other person with me who could help me move my belongings. We were able to get the job done ourselves. Im astonished this company has as many stars as they do and that they can run their business in this fashion and still stay standing considering all they really did for me was waste my time. Unbelievable!! They were awesome!! They took our move on only a couple weeks before. They were short handed one worker that didnt show up the morning of our move, which was concerning . We had three workers and one truck, and a van, when we thought we would have two trucks. When they realized how big of a job we had they called in two more guys and another truck!! They we very respectful of our property and house. They didnt even nick a wall!! Nothing was damaged or even scratched!! All the workers were very friendly and enjoyable to work with. We had a cooler of Gatorade and soda for them, which they very much deserved and appreciated !! Everything considered, it was a way better experience than I could have ever asked for!! Oh.....and bye the way.....they were cheaper than the company that dumped us at the last minute!! I will definitely use them again if we move!! I would recommend them to my family and friends!!

Let me lead by saying Quality movers had great customer service and the free boxes was such a bonus! A couple things things stand out, we were quoted over the phone $155/hr but was charged $160/hr, also the movers took a break to eat, which was about a half hour difference between us getting to our place and them arriving with our stuff also they said theyd be at our place at 8am but showed up at 8:20( they start the clock when they leave their place not when they arrive). This was our first moving experience and the guys were fast and efficient, just be aware of how itll all add up!

We were so happy with our choice to go with Quality Moving & Storage. They were very flexible with us having to cancel at the very last minute because of our builder and they were able to re-schedule and could squeeze us in during an extremely busy moving time a few weeks later. The guys they went out were very professional and careful with our belongings. We ended up having more stuff than we realized, and Quality Moving & Storage sent out more people to help and get the job done. I would highly recommend them to anyone making a move in the Twin Cities.

Hired Quality Movers to move my 91 year old mom out of her house into an apartment. They all had company logo shirts and came in a company logo truck. Had all the equipment and boxes they needed, as well as many extra boxes for us to pack last minute stuff. They knew what they were doing. Made a last sweep of the house so they didnt miss anything and asked us if there was anything else. They were very efficient and courteous. I would highly recommend them. They werent cheap, but did the job right with no surprises except for the great service.

My experience with "Quality" Moving (I put that in quotations because I believe its false advertising!) has been nothing short of horrible. The owners, Dave and Nick/"Chico", have little to no respect for anyone, including customers. I am so dissatisfied with this company I would strongly suggest you take your money elsewhere! In my opinion these men need to get their heads checked! Good luck folks, theres nothing Quality about this company!!

Buyers Beware -- They advertise $149 off $200 for their moving services. What is not in the ad, they tell you in person, is its a two-hour minimum at $125 an hour = $250.00. The ad is very misleading; it their catch to advertise something that appears lower. If the minimum is $250.00 it should be off that amount - not a bait and switch!!! Im going to contact the other moving service in Angies List that is truthful!!

We couldnt have asked for nicer, more fun guys to help with our move. We moved on an unusually hot spring day when it was 90 degrees out. Jamie and his crew did were polite, friendly, fun and very professional. It was nice to see 4 guys get along so well and we could tell they were having fun at work. Our entire move was incident free and I would HIGHLY recommend this company for your move!

Quality Moving & Storage was awesome! I couldnt say enough about them. Right from the start, when they provided the FREE moving boxes, they took the stress out of the typical moving headache. There isnt a better moving company in Minnesota than Quality Moving & Storage. Working with Nick and his team is seamless and I have recommended Quality to everyone that I know. They will pack your entire home up, move it without incident and they even have indoor storage options. The free boxes they gave to me were a great added bonus. Best in the city!

We have used Quality Moving and Storage for the last 2 moves. The first time was over 3 years ago and because they did such a great job then, we called them for our move on the 16th of August. The movers and staff are very professional, wrapped our furniture like it was their own and moved very quickly and efficiently. Hats off to you all. Great Job!
