Truly dreadful experience on every level. First they showed up on the wrong day. We pulled up at our home at 7pm on a Friday night and the driver had begun unloading the pod, putting down the 4 metal legs of the podzilla, but he hadnt brought down the pod or moved his truck away. I stopped him and asked why he didnt call first. He said he did, but he had the wrong number. He also said the central dispatch is constantly making mistakes like this. Fine. Very nice guy, but couldnt give me a local # when I asked for one to deal with in the future. He also asked if our asphalt driveway was new, (it is about 8 months old). We found out why later. So he reverses the legs of the podzilla and drives away. Then we notice the 4 legs of the podzilla have left four 1.5" deep imprints in the driveway. This will likely cost $500-800 to repair. So on the next business day I call to cancel. After a total of 4 calls and 3 hours on the phone (including prior to this day), I am promised that nothing has been charged to my account and everything has been canceled. No apology for anything, including the damage to the driveway although I had already mentioned it. When I bring it up again, this woman, who claimed she was a supervisor, she said that she would put in a damage claim to the local office and they would contact me about the damage. As of today, 40 days later, no one has contacted me about the damage, and they charged my account nearly $300. Now I can either call and go through another 45-60 minute hold to speak to a fool who will likely further screw things up, and/or just dispute with our credit card co. and pay to repair the driveway ourselves. Their incompetence borders on criminal.

Worst experience in my moving career. I asked for it to be delivered on 5/17 and picked up by 5/24 as we are moving and I wanted it camcelled prior to 5/24 new billing date and are having a sale prior to the move. Was delivered on 5/17 but dropped in front of my garage and blocked in the cara. Driver said no instructions were present even though I spent a good chunk of time explaining where to pUT it. Unloaded by 5/23 and they never came on 5/24 to pick up. Customer service said there was no date listed and that the MN center could not pick up the empty until 6/9, 16 days later!. No matter who I talk to at the Florida customer seevict they all,say MN location manager said he cant do it before then. I have been in logistics and supply chain for 30 years and have never heard of a group that did not have a truck,for days to fix their error, not mine. My house is sold so it looks like the new owner gets a pod for free to store theit stuff since the MN location is so busy with business they dont need an empty. Plus they charged me another month of storage to boot. Do not use.

Truly the worst service I have ever received. They couldnt deliver my POD for 3 weeks after I moved into my home. I had called with a week and a half notice and i still couldnt get it until 2-3weeks after we moved in. I had to go to the location and unload it myself. after that they kept billing me for 3 months. they even charged me a delivery fee to my house when i had already called and canceled the delivery and told them it was empty. They kept telling me that they delivered the pod to my house and that i have it and that is why they wouldnt refund me my money (i think id notice a giant pod in my driveway). After roughly 3 hrs of being on the phone with them they determined the POD was at the storage center EMPTY, just like i said it was. And what did i get in return for all of this ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If i had to do it over again i would have definitely went elsewhere, even if it was a little bit more expensive. if you need something from them plan on having at least 30 minutes to spend on the phone to get nowhere!

I would not recommend PODS to anyone! They recommend giving 7 days advance notice for pickup. I decided to be proactive and give them 21 days (called June 1 for a June 22 pickup), but was told the soonest they could pick it up was 35 days (July 5). Problem is we are closing on our house on June 23, so our POD will be sitting in the new homeowners driveway. I have made a number of calls to "customer support", but have found they can only tell me that Minneapolis is very busy and apologize. Every time you call customer support it is like the movie groundhogs day, repeating the same conversation of hopefully someone will cancel and we can squeeze you in. They are also quick to downplay their deceptive advertising of 7 days advance notice. I have also asked what PODs is doing to solve the issue, customer support has no idea, Ive asked if I could be transferred to someone that could answer that question, customer service isnt sure which department that would be....I am fully disgusted with this company!

DO NOT USE in Minneapolis!! They WILL NOT drop on the street, or the yard. Not only is their customer service ridiculous, they screwed up delivery multiple times and youll see lots of similar complaints in the city of Minneapolis for people who attempted to use them. This is because PODs nowhere tells you they will not park on the street, and if you order thinking you can street park, they wont deliver. Any other storage company will get a permit to park their unit on your street – PODS REFUSES TO DO SO, according a rep from the city I spoke with. PODS was supposed to make her move easy and its been a nightmare. Not only is it several days late, they refused to put it where we wanted, making the move-in even more difficult! Use another company that will actually cooperate, communicate, and work to keep their customers happy - not just run their credit cards to high heaven.

HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT USE FOR MOVING PURPOSES. They can not pick the unit up from our driveway for 4 weeks and tomorrow we close with the new owners. We have to have it towed off our property now back to their warehouse. They do no tell you that they wont pick the unit back up when you order one, but they can drop one off within a couple days of calling. I spoke to many different people within the company and never was able to speak to the Manager Dwayne Lane directly. He was sent multiple e-mails by company staff, incident report was filed and still no resolution or follow up. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering a POD unit for my moving needs as this issue is very common.

Terrible service. We were told how much head-time we needed to give them for pickup and then when we notified them they told us the earliest they could pick up was 3 weeks later, well after when we needed the Pod at our new place. We rented a U-Haul and got the job done in a couple days at a cheaper price. Even though we never used the Pod, the day they gave us to pick up was pushed back an entire month. Didnt matter to us because we never used it but I can only image how angry I wouldve been had we received that news a day before the planned pick up, AFTER already being well delayed. We werent refunded. Never use this service.
