Painfully Slow! Go to another Post Office! I was there at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. There were eight people ahead of me. There was only one lady clerk helping customers. There was a male clerk, but oddly, he was very picky about who he helped, which meant: People buying lots of 20 stamps and paying with a credit card, and people who had packages to mail that were already paid for. On top of that, he disappeared for 80% of the time I was there. That makes no sense at all! Why could he not help anyone and everyone and give the young lady some help as well? I chatted with the man ahead of me. He said, “It’s always like this.” When I finally mailed my package, there were 15 people behind me and the line was out the door! There was a Hispanic woman yakking on her telephone in Spanish, and she had the speaker phone on! The woman ahead of her asked her to turn the speaker phone off. She did, then turned it on less than a minute later. She kept switching the speaker phone on and off. I asked her to turn the speaker phone off. She looked at me with absolute confusion. Obviously, she did not understand that polite people do not inflict both sides of a telephone conversation on everyone around them. I was about to argue with her, but then she turned the speaker phone off and kept it off. Then there was a fat man leaning against the railing. The railing leaned toward the counter and I was worried he was going to make the railing collapse. There were several people looking at their telephones, and they had enough courtesy not to call people while they were waiting. I was very nice to the young lady at the counter. It’s not her fault some dim wit manager can not figure out that they need at least three clerks during peak hours. Her job was stressful enough.

Horrible!! Horrible customer service. I Understand it may be frustrating answering cranky customers on a daily basis but I was NOT cranky until he started giving me attitude. I called because I accidentally made a mistake by not putting the apartment number for the address my item/s were getting shipped to. He was somewhat rude the whole time and seemed like he didnt want me to talk. He did tell me that they cant deleiver Mail UNLESS your name is on the mailbox.. Which isnt always 100% true because Ive had Mail deleivered to me and my name wasnt on the mailbox. He would talk over me or would tell me to stop talking and that he was talking which I totally understand but the way he said it was rude. He told me that if my package wasnt delivered to give him a call back. I gave him a call back because I received one of my items. Thank gosh the mail guy was already out there while I was going to check. Once I called him back for the second time he was just completely rude!!! Hung up on me!! Told me if I need my package I can come to the store. Of course I can! I know that but not everyone has the time which is why I was calling. So I called back and we spoke for 30 seconds because he hung up on me and I had a question. Overall, whoever I spoke to, the person who answers the phone from 11am ish-1pm is VERY rude. Believe his name was Bill..If you arent happy with your job, and your being rude to customers on a daily basis, THEN QUIT!

I really hate having to go to this post office to pick up my mail. I prefer to go to the PO by my work or by my parents house to send outgoing mail, because the Richfield PO is so bad. Most of the times I go there, the line is almost out the door and the wait time is a huge inconvenience. The clerks there--in particular, the female clerks--have terrible customer service skills. "Service with a smile" is a completely foreign concept to them. Their unfriendliness and reluctance to help makes it seem like theyd rather be doing anything other than serving their customers. Im sure that working at a post office is not the most exciting job out there, but I am certain that there are plenty of other people who would be glad to do the job and be friendly to the postal patrons. One day, I came in just before 5:30 to pick up a package. I rang the bell for the service window. I could hear people back there talking and moving around, but nobody came to the window. I waited for a few minutes, rang the bell again, and realized they werent going to help me. As soon as I got five steps out the door, one of the clerks was at the door to lock it behind me. So rude!

This was honestly the worst customer experience I have ever witnessed. They are very short and rude to everyone. I was there for about 30min today and witnessed several things that I think are completely unacceptable. Customers were asking questions and were being treated as if they were idiots. The employees were not helpful at all and acted as if everyone there was an annoyance to them. I have heard others say this about this particular location and I went there with an open mind today but the stories I have been told were proven to be true. I experienced it myself. Its really sad because this is my local post office but I will avoid it now going forward.

I dropped off a package to be shipped off and was informed a month later that it was never received. When I call and went into the post office to investigate and get more information I was then told that they dont handle my type of packages. I am concern that the employee that handles my package stole my merchandise which is values over $1,500 dollars. I then ask if I were to provide the propper time a date that i came in if they would be able to check the cameras. The assistant managers response is I can file a police report if I suspect foul play. I store full of rude unhelpful thieves is what aim dealing with. I wont stop until I get the propper help!

The two postal workers that I encountered at this post office were rude and inconsiderate. They did not allow me to purchase 1 stamp for an ordinary letter because I entered the office just minutes after they had closed. There were other patrons in the office waiting to be served so the inconvenience would have been minimal but because of my apparent "tardiness" I was not helped. That is not good customer service for any type of business. If at all possible avoid this post office to save yourself from interaction with these postal workers without a heart. I hope that karma hits these people with due justice.

Just got home from here. I was planning on to buy an envelope because it is a requirement for a new passport. I wrote the requirement to my mobile phone and showed it to the cashier and she was able to assist me on it. I also inquired about my friends concern of sending his 32" plasma TV to another state and the service counter gave me options for my friend. She is very helpful and not rude, dont know why some of the reviews are such though. So far, good experience. And this is my first time to go here.
