Beyond incompetent. This is the 4th time now they have lost a card ( one out of 6 all mailed together )from grandma and an aunt all mailed directly from the PO at the same time. I end up with one child feeling left out because their card was the one lost. The carriers are lazy and refuse to come to the door like they are supposed to with packages, as it clearly states "out for delivery" online. If it is an urgent package it creates a huge problem and they do nothing to try and fix it. I now have a mailbox door that is damaged as well because they shoved a 12 x 18" jiffy mailer inside of it. We already had one carrier fired, caught in the act of stealing a $100 check for my kids birthday gifts from grandma. I have filed over 10 claims with amazon after smart-post hand-offs never made it to my door this year alone. It made it through the UPS leg of the trip with no problem, things always seem to go bad after they leave Houston. They also delivered $900 in medical supplies urgently needed by a sickly neighbor to my house. Luckily my husband knew the woman but had we not been honest people she would be in seriously trouble having to file a claim and without supplies she needs to survive!!!! I have had dozens of packages given to me in error and bills not received at all. We often get 2 electric bills in our box. You CANNOT have 2 utility accounts from Jasper Newton on one physical property, how stupid can someone be!!!!!!!! They make damn good money and act like they dont want to be at work most of the time. There was a time when working for the US Postal Service was honorable. Now its a disgrace, at least in Southeast Texas it is. Whats sad is neighboring Post Offices have confirmed Orange has problems, many employees have left after dealing with the rude post master. Sadly it is Orange who delivers our mail so I have to keep calling and I always get the same rude ignorant putz. These people have cost me hundreds of dollars and do nothing to try and fix it. This useless man needs to be fired and someone who can clean up the disaster he has caused brought in.

Had nothing but problems with them. Took up residence in a new home that has a locking mailbox with the Postal Service not used to that stuff. Had to stay on the phone 6 hours with the 1-800 number just for them to tell me that I have to go to the store so I went to The Bridge City store they told me Id have to go to the orange building so me and my girlfriend went down to the orange building which it shows on Google Maps and it is permanently closed and we did not see that the other main store is right across the street which is our mistake but by far the most difficult people to deal with. and I absolutely hate receiving mail from the US Postal Service which in my opinion should be permanently Nationwide shutdown. And when I told them that it looked like it wasnt even an operation that it was that crappy little white Shack they didnt even bother to tell me it was the one across the street and with my child and girlfriend in the car its too much stress you can barely pay attention to the road with all the screaming constantly so I didnt even notice it.

After my package was received, damaged, I returned to the Post Office with package and item. Extra ins. was paid on shipping. Clerk said item had to be returned to Post Office of origin. So next time I went to Mississippi, I brought the Item with doc. to show the Post Master. The reply was " how do we know that the package was not damaged on the trip from Tx. to Ms. I returned to the Orange P.O. only to get rejected, laughed at and the "lady" at the counter would not talk about the matter, and refused to give me her name. So Im out the $ for ins. + $ 1,500. for the item. (welding machine) Thanks USPS Orange. I hate buying things on ebay, because I hate going to that building. one star is to much. i was robed at the post office, by the post office. 12/3/16 item left at wrong house, phoned on saturday, I talked to the nicest lady, on the phone, local, and they are trying to get the package to me as I type. just getting a real person, who is trying is amazing.

I am sick of dealing with this. After only one year living in Orange, TX, I have seen the following: -Mail addressed to me is routinely lost or returned to sender for no apparent reason. -I receive my neighbors mail. -My neighbors receive my mail. -I have seen my neighbors mail laying in the middle of the street after the mail carrier went by. -Packages shipped to my house show "delivered" on the USPS website but are nowhere to be found. -No one can answer my questions about lost mail. -Packages have arrived damaged and the contents destroyed with no explanation. -I have watched the mail carrier literally drop a package onto the concrete in front of my house and walk away. If you care about your mail at all, avoid shipping or receiving anything through this post office. Ask for UPS or FEDEX, anyone but USPS if you live in Orange, TX.

Horrible service. I live in an apartment and the mail carrier was too lazy to come to my door. She/he leaves a note in my box saying sorry we missed you. My apartment is in the first section next to the boxes. I sat outside my door so the lazy person would not have to come upstairs. She/he didnt even come around the corner to see where my apartment was. I heard the service from this post office was REALLY REALLY bad but thought it was exaggerated. Guess not. People just dont care these days. The note she left said to pick up package in Orange on Monday. Its only Thursday. So I guess it will take a couple of days to get back to the post office there???????

Ive called and called to report that the mail man keeps putting my mail in the mail box next door. the house is abandoned, my mail keep being sent back and marked abandoned or no one lives at this address...I surly you, I do Ive been here 6 years......Ive "lost" packages because it says delivered and I NEVER got them. the guy reads numbers on mail boxes all day. how does he continue to have issues with my mail box. it has become a major issue....now the 500$ college book I bought for an ordered and needed was "delivered" but not to my house. who knows what house hes brought it to....very VERY VERY unsatisfied and disappointed with the whole situation...

Mail was constantly being delivered to someone else, delivery person wrecked my mail box, they also drove around fast with a child in the car and on a cell phone! I finally sent an email to the Postal Inspector Generals office in Washington, DC. I was polite and blunt in describing the situation. Credited the Post Office with encouraging and being a party to identity theft by giving my bills to someone else to open and potentially use my financial information to hijack my identity. A postal supervisor came to my door the same day they received my complaint via Washington. Seems to have improved but time will tell.
