One week after I moved to St Paul, MN I got into my first car accident ever (with 40 years of driving, had never had a slight scratch on a vehicle... until now! "Welcome to St Paul, newcomer"). GEICO directed me to ABRA because Im new in town and know nobody here, so how would I know where to start? I decided to trust my instinct and made an appointment for 12 noon yesterday in spite of reading a previous bad review on this very site. I made it to the shop on time and they were already waiting for me: the guy from ABRA, and GEICOs insurance adjuster. They took care of me, reassured me that I was in good hands and promised to make it up to me after my sorry encounter with an aggressive driver. They provided me with all the information and documentation I needed and within a couple of hours they called me back with a $$$$ and time estimate. They said the car would be ready probably on Friday. Today (Thursday) at noon, they called again to inform me that the car was ready to be picked up. It took them only 24 hours to do the job. All I can say is that I am a happy customer and will recommend this place to anyone in need of auto body repair. Never in my life had I been so satisfied with any service until I received ABRAs. They are without a doubt true professionals who have set the bar very high and I was lucky to find them. As much as I hope not to have to return to them with my car because of a future collision, I remain their loyal customer and will sing their praises at every opportunity I have.

As of right now so far all Ive done is dropped off my vehicle off and pointed out the damage during the inspection. Got to deal with Kevin L. today and boy oh boy was he a ball of sunshine. First thing I noticed on this man was he had a lipstick kissmark on his neck just below the collar which seemed a little unprofessional but Im one to hold my judgements. When we got outside I felt more like I was being interrogated than anything else. The guy was a total duche and pretty inconsiderate when asking about the damage. He kept interrupting me while I was answering his questions and talked to me like I was a child. I dont mean he dumbed things down to much when explaining things, but he talked to me and my mother like we were lesser people then he was. Ill come back to this and bump the score if they fix the car right

Just purchased a new car and an unfortunate incident with a garage door malfunction left a deep scratch down to metal on the trunk. Stopped by over lunch and quickly had an estimate that was signicantly lower than other estimates. Work was set up to be done the next day. Finished on time and the paint work was flawless. They washed the car and even removed the film residue from the wheels the dealer missed prepping the car. It looked better than when I drove it off the dealer lot. I have used this Abbra location several times in the last 15 years and have been pleased with all aspects of working with them and the work done.

Poor communication from the body shop, poor communication / information sharing between the on-site insurance adjuster and the body shop. 4 days after I brought in my car (this was now a Friday), I called and talked to three different people who couldnt answer my questions because the responsible people were "not in." The following Monday, the Geico adjuster filling in for the regular person helped me sort everything out, and is the only reason this is not still a one-star review. I have no idea whether ABRA does good body work, because they didnt do any work for me. I only know that they need to work on their communication.

This facility has poor customer service. I brought my car in the morning and the adjuster was not there to assist me. I asked when the car will be done, no definite answer. I get a call that same afternoon, car will be done tomorrow. Poor customer service communication. I asked them to vacuum the drivers side floor carpet and wash car. The day I picked up my car, the drivers side carpet was not vacuumed. Car was not washed. Body was shop repair was okay. I would never come back to this facility. They did not give me a clean car as promised.

7/14/2015 3:45p.m. Got there @ 3:45 for a 4 pm appointment and was told to wait for the estimator. Estimator was done, but went to hide in his cubicle. Waited till 4:30pm and no one seem to acknowledge my presence, so I just left. The employees had time to chat but seem like they didnt have time to help me out. A business that makes you wait doesnt deserve your money, especially after a long tiring day of work. Who would want to give their hard earned money to a business that doesnt care about their customers time?

This place is terrible. I got my window broke into and they did a very poor job in fixing the window. When I got the car back the window didnt even go down all the way and there was still glass on the floor. Also, I repeatedly told them that my alarm was messed up from the break in but they denied me ever saying that. Then when I called them to have them fix their mistakes they neglected my calls. Dont choose this place, they are absolutely terrible.

Sent to ABRA by my insurance company. The estimate for repair that ABRA gave me was $ 3,000.00 lower than the shop I had do the repair. It was so bad that my insurance company had to send out another adjuster that agreed with my body shop. This further delayed my repair.

They do great work here! I have taken my car to them after an accident and they made it look amazing. Even touched up a few spots they didnt have to do. They finished my windshield today and it looks amazing! Will go to them before anybody else and recommend them.

I brought in a vehicle to get an estimate for some minor damage and Todd not only did an accurate estimate on the spot, but he also quickly adjusted the front fender to allow the drivers side door to open smoothly. Great service!

Great place and very fast! Had a fender bender, took it in on a Friday and picked up my car the following Monday. Also help in recommending a better detail by paying a little extra and looks great once again! Recommended!

Was able to get an appointment almost next day. They updated me every step of the way and I got the car back about 2 days before I expected. Cant tell there was ever any damage. Highly recommend!
