So, at the state fair I looked at a shed that was on display and it looked pretty nice. I ended up getting a flyer and calling the Tough Sheds number listed. Pretty nice guy took my order. We talked a bunch about how I wanted to get my riding lawn mower out of the garage, so he upsold me to reenforced flooring and double doors to accomodate the riding lawn mower. I also got lifetime shingles, etc. The total bill was over $4,000. Maybe a bit more than I would have expected, but I figured I was getting a big nice shed. The install day was actually great until the very end, when there was no ramp. I inquired why, and they said I needed to order a ramp. So, I call Tough Sheds and talk to a couple people eventually talking to the guy who called to confirm the order prior to install. I told them I was upset. Basically, I was made to feel like an idiot for not ordering a ramp. Then, they charge me $400 more for the ramp, which was full price. No one ever said sorry or even acknowledged that maybe someone other than me did anything wrong. They said they would hopefully get to it that week, but it was not an install, so it wasnt high priority. Smirk. Now, that $400 ramp was for a full ramp to cover the entire entrance to the shed, which included 6 board sections and was stated on the additional invoice. They never let me know what day or time they were coming for the ramp install, so I wasnt home. My mom was and they checked in with her, but left without saying a word. The ramp that was installed had 2 movable sections, so it could only cover a portion of the entrance. I think the idea is that you can space out the 2 boards to drive in and out. Anyway, not what I ordered and paid for. I sent a strongly worded email this time (you know when you get that feeeling you need to have a paper trail) I got an email response from a supervisor. He did apologize, but then gave excuses for everything and informed me that the sales person I talked to was from Home Depot, so they couldnt be help responsible for that portion. He says they will bring and install the ramp I actually paid for and refund me $150. My service has been a definite 1 star, but the shed does seem very nice so I was generous with the 2 stars. I am afraid of what might happen should I ever need to get service for the life time shingles under warranty.

I put my name in a drawing for a new shed about a year ago. This company will not stop calling me. Ive asked several times to be taken off their call list. They keep telling me they will take me off. THEY JUST KEEP CALLING!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! I can only imagine what theyre like if you actually buy something from them.
