I have used major storage facilities for over 30 years in Connecticut Massachusetts Virginia and two cities outside of Minneapolis. Alex the long time RESIDING ( apartment is on the property) Manager is by FAR the very very best of all site managers I have ever worked with. I have total 100 % peace of mind trust confidence in his rare ability as (1) a very noble and fine human being (2) an amazingly efficient extremely hard working AND professionally firm manager. He is also fair and judicious -- an extremely RARE trait in the highly profitable storage industry. I moved out of our long time home into a modest apartment and spent 3 years organizing everything into " sell" " keep ". Needless to say my monthly bill with Public Storage is very high, but I moved to this location in 2007 after being one of the first tenants in the new facility they purchased in Woodbury ( started as Minnesota Mini Storage in 2000) so yes 17 year of storage just in Minnesota. One last essential point no one realizes as extremely high risk when using storage facilities: ... anyone can call a locksmith from inside a storage facility and guide them once they let them into the gates to " their " storage unit and within seconds hire the locksmith to drill out the lock. And there goes all your property. So it is essential your facility have a residentially living manager on the premises BEHIND the front gate and one like Alex who takes rare sincere deep pride and responsibility for the safety security and preservation ( fire tornado wind water damage ) of your beloved or vital-to-your- business, property.

We gave our 7 day notice and had moved everything out. Went in to turn in our keys and were told that we needed to pay the next months rent for a unit we no longer were using, despite the fact that we gave our notice. Alex provided no help in trying to resolve the billing issue. Alex stated that he would email his regional manager and try and correct the situation. Never got copied on the email, like I asked, and never heard a word from Alex or his Regional manager Chuck. I called Alex last week to see where we were at with correcting this but was told he couldnt do anything. He gave me his regional manager phone number so I tried him direct. Its been about a week now and still no word from Chuck. Very disappointed in how they handled this and their customer service! I have never witnessed someone in a customer service/sales position raise his voice and speak to and treat a customer the way Alex did to me on the day we turned in our keys. I would never refer a friend to this Public Storage location! There are plenty of other options in the Burnsville/Savage MN area.

Nothing negative to say. Top notch customer service. I initially started with the call center to find a storage unit that I thought would meet my needs and then Alex followed up via phone call to confirm an appointment time to see the storage unit. Alex was ready and waiting at the appointment time - positive attitude and friendly. Facility was clean, well lit, and all security measures (gates, codes) working - couldnt ask for more. When I was moving my belongings into the unit, he was very responsive and helpful when I realized the unit I had was not going to be large enough; he quickly identified a larger unit for me and I had minimal delays for the movers. Moving can be stressful, but working with Alex for storage made the process a whole lot easier.

Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and extremely helpful in my experience at public storage. He can read people which is an important part of any job and could tell i was in a hurry. He got me my storage unit quick and informed me about a mattress bag and the importance of one. He worked great with me even when i was the difficult customer. I was given better options and solutions to my problems then i thought were possible. Alex made my moving and storing experience go smoothly. Public storage should hire more people like Alex!

I was Impressed with his talent and acknowledgement as to what I was looking for,, and within 15 minutes I had the keys to a 10x10 storage unit!,, Good people are hard to find and I believe you found one with Alex,, My Hats off to you at Storage Facility corporation!! for the outstanding employee. Id recommend it to all my Friends and family. Great Service!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Angie and Alex make a great team . Angie really took her time to explain the procedures and policies .Alex was not involved directly but he listened in and give me a unit that would accommodate my needs. Im a single mom and he recommended a unit easily accessible and close to the entrance which made me feel safe . Angie was easy to talk to and really warm in her welcoming. I felt like i was with old friends. Angie was quick and efficient I was in and out in less than 30 mins. Excellent service.

After reserving a storage unit online, the property manager Alex reached out to me to schedule a good time for us to come out and tour the facility. Alex got us all set up with our unit and made sure any of our questions were completely answered, which helped us decide to pass a few closer storage options. Then after completely filling our unit he assisted us with another unit. With that, the way he takes care of the facility and his guests makes this complex worth checking out. You will not be let down!

Great facility and great on-site staff. Love the place. That said, dont pay late. And I dont mean 30 days, I mean dont be 5 days late, or theyll start HOUNDING you on the phone (multiple times a days even). By the time 30 days rolls around, theyll already have an auction date scheduled to sell your stuff. I know because I had a stretch of financial difficulties for a while. Glad I got that all straightened out now, because I do like the place, but dealing with their billing dept was VERY off-putting.

I worked with Alex and he has great customer service. The actually building was neat and kept clean not like some of the others Ive been to before. I would recommend coming to thus public storage verses any other one especially becuse you get yo deal with Alex there. His always concerned about any problem you have plus when I went over paperwork he walked me through line by line and made sure that I understood everything I was singing, just overall great experience. Alex was so helpful and professional. He explained everything thoroughly but with a very personal touch. We really appreciated his suggestions on boxes and items we would need for moving - things we didnt even think of! Id also like to say that Alex seems to take great pride in his location. We mentioned there was a gate that needed some attention and when we returned he was already out there fixing it. You dont see this kind of service these days; how refreshing.
