Their cleaning service is acceptable but their customer service is one of the worst I ever experienced. Cleaning ladies do a good job of course. Many of them dont speak English. This is their livelihood. But when something happens (misscheduling or property damage by accident) thats when you see how unprofessional and rude this companys customer service is. I hired them for home cleaning service. One of the workers accidentally broke my curio glass shelving. When the job was done, the company over charged me for about $150 more. They charged me for three cleaning people but my neighbor told me only two people came and cleaned my house. I called the company and asked how many people cleaned my house, and they would not tell me over the phone. I had to try multiple times over the phone and over emails to finally have them admit that they did overcharge me. The whole time they were rude and highly unprofessional. Needless to say, I gave them a negative review on Angies list. The company originally agreed to reimburse me for the broken glass shelving, but just because I gave them the negative review, the company owner refused to reimburse me for the damage they caused. This company keeps saying I made the whole thing up. But I have a plenty of proof this whole thing happened. Thats exactly how unprofessional and dishonest this company is. If you hire this company, and something happens to you and you want to file a complaint against them, they will show their true side; and they will say you are lying. After I originally posted this review, they, as usual, came back and said that my story is all lies and the Attorney general had found my claim false. I urge you to please call Minnesota Attorney general and ask them if they had indeed disproved my claim. Please go ahead. My name is Sung Hwang. Also, if Angies list had found my claim false, why would they still list my negative review? If BBB had found my complaint a false claim, why would they still list my complaint. A good cleaning service professionals do a good job of cleaning customers houses and also take peoples criticism responsibly rather than attacking them by fabricating stories to discredit the customers. Do not take your chances with this company. Do not waste your money on this people. There are lot of reputable cleaning service agencies with great reviews about customer services. Google does a great job of listing those agencies here in Minnesota. Stay away from Details Home Services.

I was very skeptical when my wife told me she wanted to spend hundreds of dollars to get our house "deep cleaned." As a frugal guy, my snap judgement was that a cleaning service with bells and whistles, especially ones we probably didnt need, couldnt be worth it. Well, at least with Details Home Services doing the work, I was wrong. Very, very wrong. Tiffany at DHS helped onboard us to their process, quality, and had endless patience as I peppered her with about 20 questions over the phone. She was accommodating in her scheduling, great with setting expectations, and was just enjoyable to communicate with. The real test, of course, was in the cleaning itself. The two-person crew they sent did everything we asked of them – happily and professionally – not to mention humored me with two rather unreasonable on-the-spot requests and got them done. Its fascinating to see how fast and well they can clean with green, non-abrasive, and non-toxic products. However, they did accidentally overbill me for the work. But Mike Newcome on their team quickly apologized, explained the problem (it was completely innocent), and cut me a check that day for the overpayment amount. I would recommend DHS over and over when you add up all the pros they have going for them. They run a tight, clean ship and Im really pleased with the results.

We have used Detailed Cleaning Services for both our home and for a rental property. We have always been satisfied with the price and service for our home cleaning and would give them 4.5 out of 5 for the monthly home cleaning. We recently used them for a deep cleaning and carpet cleaning of our 1,600 square foot rental property. This is a higher end property and was in pretty good condition prior to the clean. After Detailed Cleaning finished the job we noticed the master bathroom counter top, toilet, floor, along with the hardwood floors on the main level were still dirty. I then had to clean those areas, which all of the dirt came off pretty easily with a magic eraser. Prior to receiving our bill, we contacted them with our comments, and they did nothing. Then when we received the bill for a total of $467.99 I called their office and again voiced my complaints. This time they offered to reduce the price to $434.99. I believed $434.99 is still way too much to pay for a less than good cleaning and carpet cleaning job that only covers 1,600 square feet. We will not be using them again on any of our rental properties. We will however continue to use them for our monthly home cleaning service as they have done a much better job for us in this area.

I usually never post reviews (it takes too long), but as someone who hires companies based off the reviews I read, I decided I would pay it forward and take the time to write a review because we were so happy with our experience! We just hired Details Home Service for monthly cleaning service. With three kids and working full time its hard to find time to actually deep clean your house. I literally walked in after work and started crying because it looked so good. I cant remember the last time I was able to clean my entire house on the same day, so walking in and having everything cleaned at the same time was an amazing feeling. I told my two oldest not to touch anything for 5 mins while I enjoyed it!! My 10 year old thought I was crazy, and my 3 year old wanted to know when he could pull his trains out :) but those 5 mins were amazing before the toys came out! :) My appliances looked as new as they did when we moved in they were so clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. Add that the baseboards and window sills were also cleaned, bedspreads perfect, blankets folded, -- it was amazing. I had 4 services bid and their pricing was great too. If you are in the market for cleaners, I highly recommend them!

Terrible customer service. The person in charge is rude. They screwed up another scheduled cleaning date and wouldnt reschedule again for another month. Have broken numerous items in our home. The ladies that clean the house are nice enough when they dont miss items, but the ownership or management are jerks. For the price there are much better services out there and we have definitely moved on. Now they keep emailing me saying I was a terrible customer and that theyre going to spread that rumor on my reviews to discredit me. Haha, what a joke. These people are nuts. Just to let everyone know. If you post a negative review of this company, they will post your confidential personal information including your home address, personal phone number and email address online. So, consider that before hiring them.
