I agreed with the review below Erik Lundin has wrote since I experiences it myself about the women who did my hair, Juliya. Everything he said is true!!! I purchased a living social coupon and was very unhappy about the services, experience, and the outcome. I wanted a balaya. I came in with a outgrown ombré. I wanted to retouch the top of my hair first with a color and then have her do the Balaya on top of that since I like my hair Color light because I have dark hair. But she talked me out of it because she doesnt want to take extra work since its just a living social coupon it was only an extra $20 and I didnt mind paying it because I wanted to achieve the hair color I want it and it was achievable with my hair color since Ive done it before. She said that with Balaya that the top of my head will be light. So I decided to trust her. after the process she rinse my hair out and started combing and pulling my hair like crazy. I was in pain and I have lost a lot of hair. I have experience this process before and never been in this much pain. After she pulled my hair out and hurt me it was time to cut my hair. She told me that she wanted to split my hair in the middle because if I wanted to flip it both ways it will work both way. but I told her that I split my hair on the right side so I want my haircut that way. She did not want to listen to me. I did not get a chance to see the outcome of my haircut because she never show me. she curled it so I did not get a chance to see the outcome of my haircut. Due to the fact that she did a crappy job she didnt want me to see the outcome and curl my hair so I wont get to see it until because she doesnt want to deal with fixing it. She didnt listen to me. And now Im going around having my face framing looking like crap. I decided not to contact them because I didnt want to have a terrible experience again plus that place was too far from me that I dont want to waste my time and gas energy to get another bad services again. I should have read the review before I made a decision to go there. Thank God it was a living social coupon for half price I will never even use a coupon at this place ever again. With that $62 I couldve went to a salon that I normally go got the outcome I wanted. I didnt even get what I paid for honestly it was more like a student beauty school skills in training. At least with that person I worked with. Juliya, need to learn how to listen to her customer and stop going against them when its a durable procedure. She need to get more training and more educated. also learn how to be More gentle. besides that she doesnt care about her customer. The whole process she was just quiet. At the end of the service I still tip her because Im just a type a person Who tips no matter what but I do regret tipping her as much as I did. And I regret not complaining until now.

UPDATE: Its nice that the owner replied to the message on Google. almost ten months after the fact, but her tone on Google appears very different then what her tone was when my girlfriend called to complain about the situation in tears after realizing what her hair looked like in her own mirror at home. The owner demanded that she see the stylus who screwed up her hair to try and fix it and wouldnt give back money paid/forced to pay even though she wasnt satisfied. ORIGINAL STORY: My girlfriend went in yesterday to get highlights and a cut. She had her hair cut by Juliya who wouldnt listen to what she wanted. She brought in pictures for examples and made it clear that she wanted her hair in the front not longer than the hair in the back, which is how her hair is now, longer in the front. Juliya seemed incompetent about the whole process. She thought gold highlighting was a good process to add to darker brown hair, when my girlfriend specifically asked for cooler toned highlights. She was rough in cutting her hair, she forcefully pulled her hair back, yanking it to the sides, causing her scalp to hurt well into the evening. She didnt even make the hair even until it was shorter than it should have been, because she was in such a hurry to get done. Through all of this Juliya convinced my girlfriend to buy a curling hair product "Unite Curling", and that that would help her hair, but the product is junk at least for the purpose she was instructed to use it for. I have a feeling that the only reason she pushed the product was because of commission and not because of her care. Primp has the saying "you get what you want," at least in this case its the exact opposite and now my girlfriend has to wait months for her hair to get back to the length where she can get the cut even fixed.

I went last year and got full highlights, I told the stylist that with my hair you have to start from the top and go to the bottom. I told her another stylist did it once from bottom to top and the under layers changed too fast. She said it will be fine and started from the bottom. The bottom layers changed too fast. When she pulled all the foils out the bottom was platinum blonde and the top was light brown. After my hair was dried and I went up to the front to pay I asked if they would fix it. The lady that I believe someone said was the owner told me I was going for an unrealistic color, they were all agreeing in the back that it was an unrealistic color. I said, no it was not because HALF of my hair is the color I wanted. I just want my highlights to be the same color. After attitude they scheduled me again but I ended up cancelling it because I didnt want them to screw it up more because they didnt want to fix it. They were pleasant until they screwed up but after they did there was no apologies only bad attitude. If it would have been all the same color but not as blonde as I wanted I would have been fine with it, I would have waited until it grew out some and got more floils to make it lighter. It was two completely different shades and they talked to me like it was my fault. I knew what I was talking about when I said dont start from the bottom and every hairstylist has listened except this one.

Literally the worst salon experience Ive ever had. Walked in, wasnt even greeted, sat there fof 15 minutes while the receptionist talked to her friend about credit cards or something. She finally acknowledged me and I was brought to my stylist. I had a weird gut feeling right from the beginning and I should have just left right then but I didnt. My stylis acted like she knew what I wanted to achieve, clearly not. She didnt talk to me at all, only once about her new jeep and that was it. She lifted color off my hair, and then put the same color right back in. I was there for 3 hours and I left with my roots bright red ans the rest of my hair the same brown I came in with. Had to drive 45 min back the next morning because I wasnt going in public with that hair. Thank god Maddie took over, she was extremely personable and bubbly I absolutely loved her. It still took a while to get my hair red but she was really interested in getting me what I asked for unlike the other girl. I was still a little irritated that morning because there was no one there who actually knew how to get my hair to the color I was asking for. It almost felt like I was in a beauty school with no instructors. Finally got pretty close to what I wanted, not totally, but close enough. 6 hours of my hair being tortured I just wanted to be done. Thank you Maddie you truly were wonderful but dont go to this salon for color.
