Massage Envy has a reputation for having a high turnover rate and subpar staff. On that note; I received a gift card for Christmas and booked an hour massage and an hour facial session. The front desk staff were very nice and were not pushy whatsoever. (I made it clear from the start I have a regular massage therapist I see). The massage therapist I was booked with was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever received a massage from in my entire life. It was not even enjoyable. My child kicking me in the back during her sleep, feels better than whatever technique she was attempting to do. I assumed she was new and just suffered though it. (Mostly pinching and smacking my body, while only going to lubricate her hands four times the entire session. Yes, I counted and she pulled my hair twice in the process). She abruptly ended the session and told me it was time for my facial. (Hands on time was only 38 minutes). I was extremely thirsty and was never offered water after my session. The aesthetician, on the other hand, was very pleasant. The massage portion of the facial I received from her was 100% better than the one I received from the one I had just come from. I asked her if my massage therapist was new... she laughed and said no and that shed been there for over a decade. Nice. Look for a new job if youre that unhappy. And for the "owner" who is thanking people for the "good" reviews on here; if you took time to address the negative reviews, your business may flourish even more. Business owning 101: Addressing your critics. Its not difficult and it will make you money in the end. Unless this location makes major changes, I would steer clear. In fact, Massage Envy as a whole franchise is quite deplorable. Next time I will sell my gift cards on Craigslist. :)

If you are not a member, whether you have a gift card or not, plan on having to book more than a week out (2 or more weeks is more like it). As a member you wont ever get a same day massage, its typically 2 days or more in advance. No not all therapists are great just as any other similar place. The ones that listen well & are consistent in my experience are Melissa, Bethany & Crystal. They do try to sell memberships pretty hard core at the front desk & product as well. The other thing they push is 90 min. Massages. Dont buy gift cards for someone here, they have expirations (not allowed with gift card legally for years) which they get away with by issuing a paper gift card not a credit card style that is swiped. They dont always mention the expiration so if you do buy one ask!

Awful customer service. I had an appointment, showed up...only to be told that the person I made the appointment with ...was out. They never bothered to call me to let me know....said that they did not have my number...they apparently wrote it down incorrectly...but they did have my CC # !! Of course. They had my cell number since it shows up on their caller ID and when I made the appointed...they took down my number. They offered to move my appt to the male provider...if I wanted that...I would have agreed to the male provider ...when I first made my appt. Very disappointing for my first experience with Massage Envy.

Sucks. Management turnover rate is ridiculous. New manager every month. Scam artists. Do not care about the client and their back problems whatsoever but will push you to your limits to get a membership to boost their sales. I worked there for over a year and never received a review. Was told to scrub the floors on my hands and knees while pregnant, and the only performance managers are worried about is how much you sell. Crappy customer service? Look like you were in a bar fight? NO PROBLEM as long as memberships are sold!

Horrible management. Fyi if you make an appt. with a maseuse, a different one will be there when you show up. Manager Victor Told me I needed to cancel my membership to get a refund. Then after cancelling said, since youre not a member here we cant refund you. Then told me he would have corporate contact me Nope. Didnt happen. Trying to beat Comcast for worst service.

The hot stone massage was really good and relaxing. The person giving the massage was friendly and nice. After the massage, I did not have a positive experience with the front desk attendant who tried to forcefully push a membership on me a little too hard. All I wanted to do was pay for my massage and leave and this left a little bit of a bitter taste in my mouth.

Great deals on their massages, and all strengths of pressure. I have had Joshs massage therapy for 8 months and I always feel great for a week to 2 weeks afterwards. He will check to see what area is troubling you and work his magic there. Plus he will listen if you need more or less pressure.

Dont go here! I cancelled an appointment more than 24 hours in advance but yet got charged! Im told "sorry we cant do anything to help you!" Dont go here, what a joke!
