Our experience started out excellent at the time of booking our appointment. We wanted a gel manicure and paraffin wax for 3 as a surprise gift for our mothers birthday. We asked for 3 nail techs together, and was assured no problem. Very good phone service, including a follow up confirmation the day before. The morning of, we called to say we were running 5 minutes behind, and they could not find our appointment in their system! It seemed as through they had to add us back in. When we arrived, I was taken back immediately, without my mother and sister. I asked if we could go back together, and I was told No, each would get taken back when their nail tech was ready. We ended up sitting apart from each other, and my sister was booked in the system twice and my mom wasnt at all so she waited by herself a good 5 minutes while my sister and I were already getting started. (They had all 3 of our names correct when we received the courtesy call the day before). I asked my nail tech if the paraffin wax was first, and she said There is no paraffin wax. I told her what our appt. booking consisted of and she was more concerned with being done with my manicure in time for her 11 oclock appointment rather than finding out why our appointments didnt include the wax. Because this was a birthday surprise, we didnt want to forgo the "extra" pampering. After then telling me the salon doesnt do paraffin wax, I asked how we were even able to schedule it that way?! My sisters nail tech told her they had just stopped doing them 2 weeks ago and the "call center " that does the appointments must not have known. How did the scheduling system not flag that? We ended up getting an anti-aging heat treatment instead, was ultimately a good alternative. Three hours into our afternoon, my moms light beige/pink polish started turning purple at the tips. We could then see purple spats of it on her skin (tips) too. It looked gross. I went back later with pictures and the managers first response was wondering if it was mood polish (if it was, that was not disclosed to my mom). Manager came back from talking to a nail tech and said it must be dye from my moms clothes or something she touched. Umm. NO. The discoloration was changing evenly on every finger nail. I asked her, did you confirm if it was mood polish or not, and she said "we have many polishes." What?! I was offered a free "we can fix it." This was a special birthday surprise manicure, not meant to be two trips for my mom who is 70 and does not live close. I asked for a full refund and a fix. I wasnt given both. I received the refund, and will have to set another appointment (somewhere else of course) to pay and have her nails fixed. Had the manager been forthcoming in admitting it was a mistake in using mood polish without telling her, we would have considered coming back. Our experience was frustrating and not enjoyable. We will not be back.

Im a regular Spalon customer. It took me a while to find a stylist there that I liked who knew how to do my hair for me. The stylists will make it or break it for you at this place. I pay $60 a cut which is on the expensive end - I have had my hair (cut/color/styled) and makeup done there as well as a couple massages. Spalon has good name recognition but the quality of service depends on what you are getting (cuts/color can be very good if you pay top-notch dollars for the experienced stylists; massages/facials are nothing out of the ordinary); I hope Spalon reads this because they need to know that customer service at the front desk needs improvement and management needs to be more friendly walking around; the stylists skills vary and the more you pay the more likely you will get what you desire. Overall - be cautious. Just because it is a busy salon doesnt mean youre going to be a happy customer. Id say the bigger a salon gets (3 locations) the more anonymous you will feel as a customer. Thats how it is there. Theres very little value in you as a loyal customer b/c there are so many people coming and going on both sides;customers and stylists. They have no perks for loyalists either. No coupons...no specials, etc. etc.

First and foremost I want to express my pleasure with the awesome diversity of employees. I was at the spa for a gift card my husband gave me was for a day at the spa. I wish I would have known it was literally just a card with a cash amount of money on it. I would have chosen different services. I ended up spending $100 of my own money that day. I had a massage, facial, pedi and hair style done. The pedi was upcharged $9 to remove old gel polish, not put it on, remove it. I thought that was a strange concept, since I was forced to pay it unless I didnt want a pedi. (the regular polish she applied chipped off within a week) I found the hair salon area to be very loud and close together. On a positive note the massage and facial were fantastic. Each and every employee I came into contact with was polite and genuinely kind! I was able to enjoy an awesome lunch from Kowalskis, I believe. Very good food! The atmosphere was relaxed and private in the spa area. I will definitely return for a massage and facial.

I emailed management with no response from management. I scheduled a Classic Retreat for me and two of my girlfriends. So around a $1,000 visit for the day. I covered $100 for each of my girlfriends. Didnt get a male massage therapist as requested. My massage therapist was 20 minutes late, so it threw off timing of our whole salon experience. Didnt get to talk and meet with my friends in between services. My facial therapist left the room three times, so in between applications nothing was being done. The financial payment to cover part of my friends spa experience was a complete disaster, even though I gave instructions four weeks in advance, called to confirm three days prior, and talked the day of, and it was still a night mare. Even though the atmosphere was excellent, would not recommend based on pricing.

I love every visit I make to Spalon Montage. I have been seeing Jaxon for years now and have followed him from salon to salon. His coloring skills are beyond anything I have ever experienced with any other stylist. He always knows what would look best on me for color, is extremely knowledgeable about the products he uses, and is never afraid to play around with color depending upon my mood. His cuts are great too, I love how he can manage my PIN STRAIGHT hair and give me cuts that will will give me volume and movement. Spalon Montage is one of the best salons I have visited over the years. I love the relaxed atmosphere, the style, the free coffee :) and all the people that work there. Its the best place to spend a Sunday morning in my opinion! Whats not to love?!
