Cliff Notes: Wrong tires installed, rude service manager, didnt reset TPMS after tire change, customers time wasted on second trip. Events of 7/5/2017: The morning of July 5th I noticed a somewhat aggressive leak coming from the valve stem of my front tire. Normally I would have ordered tires via Amazon but with the old tires being short on life plus having a bad leak, I decided to buy them locally instead. Unfortunately the places I normally didnt have the tires in stock, nor could they get them same day as I wanted. Not a big deal though as Mark, the service manager at Firestone, quickly found me a pair (or so I thought) and had them shipped in for an afternoon install. I pulled up, went inside, and was promptly waited on. I was impressed by how quickly they got me in and had the new tires mounted. Less than an hour after I had walked through the door, my car was finished. During the checkout, the service tech went to check the s/n for the warranty and I followed, just to visually check that everything was kosher before I paid. To my dismay, it wasnt. I immediately informed them that these were not the correct tires. The service tech I was dealing with went to discuss this with Mark, who was in the shop, just outside the showroom. Mark proceeded to raise his voice stating that I never specified the tire (BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S) that I wanted. What they actually ordered/installed was BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2s. The difference is that what they put on, were summer tires, whereas what I emphatically noted during our initial conversation was that I wanted the ALL SEASONS (A/S) and not the SUMMER TIRES (Sport). Now this could have led to a quick apology on their behalf with a suggested remedy, instead I sat there for 5 minutes listening to Mark, through the service window, call me a liar to the tech. This is quite unfortunate as Im SURE it was an honest mistake on his or the suppliers part. Being that Im a fairly laid back person, I would have just rolled with the punches and worked with them to remedy the situation. However, I draw the line at having the SERVICE MANAGER state that I was lying when the onus was solely on him/his establishment. After Mark was finished with his defensive temper tantrum, the tech returned and stated that the price wouldnt change and that they would order the new tires in and replace them, free of charge, upon delivery. I went with it due to the fact that I had no other option. I paid and left. When I drove away I noticed that my car still had a TPMS Failure. Now when I brought my car in the TPMS sensors in the bad tires were also bad, so I brought them new sensors that I had waiting. But for some reason when they installed the new tires, they didnt set/reset the sensors...!?! The process isnt difficult and Ill take care of it myself, but why didnt they? Poor service from my point of view. After thinking more about the whole situation, the fact that their error will now cost me more time (i.e. Money) when I return for the correct tires, and they didnt offer any discount for their error, really makes me unhappy. The District Manager will be receiving a call regarding this matter shortly. For now, this store receives 1 out of 5. If this is made right, I will change it accordingly. However, I would have given the store a 5 out of 5 had Mark owned up to the mistake and had the sensors been installed correctly, EVEN with the wrong tires. Oh well. Ill update once the issue is resolved.

I took my Hone CRV to this location about 10 months ago due to A/C issues. Our initial experience was very poor. They had called us back after $1400+ worth of work stating the A/C has been fixed. In checking the odometer difference between drop off and pick-up, it was clear the vehicle was not test driven to see if the A/C was working properly under normal driving conditions. About 10 minutes from the shop the A/C went out again. They initially were going to charge us total repair costs again, but after contacting management we paid only for the parts (which they still made money on because the mark up their parts). Today I took the car to a Honda dealership due to further A/C issues (and not wanting to deal with Firestone again) only to determine that the compressor is bad and I basically need the same A/C repair less than a year later. While I am waiting for Firestone to call me back to determine whether they are going to charge me for the work, needless to say I am less than impressed with the work that was originally done. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting a thorough assessment and repair of your vehicle. I will make sure that I am very vocal to all of the people I know about this place so that I can convince any future customers to go elsewhere unless there is a prompt and amicable resolution to my current situation.

Love this place, I have had only great experiences with these folks, we did have onc concern when I believed a price was lower than what was charged ( it was quoted to me at the lower price) I went in ready for the usual "repair fight" and was already charged the lower price. Also was given a price for a repair that we approved, got a call back a couple of hours later that stated that Mark had another mechanic look at my car and stated that the repair was not needed and really was just a waste of money. My cars ran until the wheels feel off, One has 165, 000, one has 297,000, and one just died at 257,000 (it went thru 2 teens from 16 to almost 21). We have a new car and have free care for some time but as soon as that is over, back to firestone!!!

Shocked at the negative reviews, we have 4 cars, one has over 330,000 miles on it, the other almost 300,000. While the other two are newer and remain under warranty, we go to Firestone exclusively as soon as warranty ends or for maintenance care. Mark has been nothing but honest to use, tells use what to do and really balances if a repair should be done on the older cars. These vehicles have the same motor, transmission and engine in them as they did when we bought them, they are just maintained by the same folks.

I took my car to get ac fixed and had to take it back 3 times to get it right. First time the fan blew one speed and it was very loud, finally after two more trips they replaced the blower. One of the vent blowers was broken from taking off the dash that they never replaced. The air bag light is still flashing. I should have learned from this experience but brought my van to get the alternator replaced and had to take it back to get the A/C connected again after a cable was left unattached.

I have taken several vehicles here over the years and have never been pressured or had attempts to "upsell" for services. This location has actually declined to perform some work on one of our vehicles when they could not definitively say what they would do would fix the problem. They have stood behind all work that I have had performed and addressed any and all concerns professionally. I will continue to make this the first location I call when I have car repair needs.
