They charge $0.50 per cup for water, even if youre buying anything else there. Then ask (via credit card slip) for a tip. Had a slice of strawberry/rhubarb pie ($5) which turned out to be mostly crust, and with enough sugar to hardly tell theres any rhubarb in there. (Even Village Inn has better rhubarb pie.) I was going to get the fruit crisp, which looked delicious, but I was told that between it and the strawberry/rhubarb, the crisp was probably sweeter. I dont know what it is with restaurants thinking every fruit pie needs to taste like a bag of sugar. Also had a small lemon meringue pie, ($5) which was actually pretty decent, even if it could have been a little more lemony. The buttercream (?) topping was pretty good, although we couldnt force ourselves to finish all of it (the topping) knowing how unhealthy it (probably) was. Had a house coffee ($2) which was self serve and very hot (the way I like it). I helped myself to a second cup, hopefully I didnt unintentionally steal, but it was good enough to want a second cup (~20 ounce cups). Prices seemed fair, but everything overall (other than the coffee) was too sweet to want to come back here again.

Very nice Easter eve meal at The One Pacific Place location. Our hostess Margie and waiter Trevor were both very helpful and accommodating. We shared the Orange Roughy with an amazing rice pilaf. The Orange Roughy was very light and had a nice texture and tasted remarkable. The coffee and iced tea were nice and Trevor as well as Margie kept our cups full. After we finished our meal we decided to splurge and get a bread pudding for desert. The waiter asked if we both wanted one and we told him no that one would be sufficient. When he brought the bread pudding we both thought he had misunderstood and brought two. However, he informed us that he had brought only one piece. It was huge. Large enough that we each had a nice meal with the nice portion of our main course and the desert. I would recommend Wheatfields for any occasion. It is a nice change of pace in our busy lives. Make sure you have time to take it all in. After our meal we walked by the large desert counter making our selection for NEXT time. If you are from out of town or have guests in from out of town this would be the spot I would recommend. Thanks for another great evening.

Expensive for what you receive. I work downtown, and when we heard Wheat fields was opening, we were excited. NO MORE excitement! The five or six times we have ordered items, they ALWAYS forget something. Like, forgetting that the roast beef requires gravy? And their eggs Benedict? Dont order this, two eggs, dry, and about a tablespoon of sauce. And each time THEY forgot to complete our order, we had to send somebody from the office BACK to pick-up the forgotten item.I ordered the quiche special many times, and one day, they tried to charge me the dinner price for a quiche that was listed as the lunch special. Not worth the money, and if you eat inside, prepare to wait a LONG time for your food.

The best brunch Ive ever had - Im from Cincinnati and was visiting Omaha and stumbled across this place, the crabcake eggs benedict was out of this world, perfect flavor and just the right amount of savory. I opted for the benedict potatoes - topped with Muenster cheese and baked - instead of a muffin as a side dish, and this was so good that it could stand alone as an entree. My companion had a dish with ham and a hollandaise sauce which was also fantastic. I would come back to Omaha just to have this brunch again because while there are great places for brunch in Cincinnati, nothing there comes close to this. Shiloh was a great waitress also and the service was extremely friendly and prompt!

The service was absolutely terrible. It took 10 minutes for the waiter, Carlos, to take just our drink order after we sat down. It took another 5 minutes for the drinks to come out, then he brought our cinnamon roll and muffin, but that was the last time he checked on us for at least 30 minutes. When we approached the floor manager, Tricia, she was very rude, and told us our order had only been in for 20 minutes, "not unreasonable at all," she said. It had been closer to 40. She didnt apologize once to us, and instead of at least offering to comp what we had, made us pay for what we had, without so much as a "sorry". Dont waste your time here.

Wheatfields has good baked foods, but the restaurant itself is just ok. They desperately need to slim down their menu. You cant guarantee you are getting fresh or good quality ingredients with such a diverse menu. Pick from their popular items and you will get something decent. Service here is not great, and it seems like they have high turnover. My guess is it isnt a great place to work--you hear rumors about the management not being great to their workers. All in all, I avoid this place and only go if Im in a group that insists upon going. That being said, they have excellent pies.

30 minute wait to get a table outside, after the hostess first tried to seat us inside. Our waitress apologized 4 separate times for the wait. We had to ask multiple times just to get our water refilled. When our food finally came, the woman apologized that they had run out of creme brulee, but gave no offer of a substitution. It was one of those situations where you expect to get something comped, or even 10% off, but that didnt happen. The food was ok, The menu looks fantastic, but I was a little underwhelmed by what came out.

I went here for breakfast on a recommendation and could not have been happier! While traffic was light at first, it filled up within an hour of opening. The rolls were insanely good. They have caramel pecan, cinnamon, white, orange....all SO good. I got the veggie scramble and it was delicious and too much for me to finish. The prices were great, the food was great...the service was very good. I even enjoyed the coffee and typically I dont like much restaurant coffee. I will definitely be back!

Awful. Expensive, not worth the money at all. Extremely busy with NO waiting space. We were on a 45 minute wait literally on top of each other. The food was completely over priced and you cannot order a single waffle, it has to be a half waffle in a kids meal for $8.50 or a regular meal for $11.50. Service was the worst. We waited 20 minutes for water and coffee that was never refilled. There are so many other options for breakfast in this area, go somewhere else!

I was seated at 2 in the afternoon, friendly usual service. My order came with 3 pieces of chicken and I could barely eat one because the breading was soggy and the meat was extremely dry. I asked the server how long it was sitting before they served it and I was told she had no clue. When I spoke to the manager she never applogizes but did offer me free dessert. But I had to appetite for dessert, as I ate none of my lunch. The only tip I gave was serve fresh food.
