I purchased a lenovo y50-70 off of eBay and it arrived damaged (cosmetic damage caused by improper packing / handling). I build my own computers, so I had never used a computer repair shop. However, I needed to have the laptop professionally repaired in order for the seller to file an insurance claim (so no doing it myself). Since I was unsure of what the repair costs would be or if the seller would want me to send it back instead of having it repaired, I was looking for a place that would offer a free repair estimate. Affordable Computer Repair was the only place in Omaha that I found (checked with several) that offered to give me a free estimate. Everyone else stated that it would cost between $35 - $99 (that cost would then go toward the repair total but left me out the money if the seller asked me to ship it back). I took it in and I have to say that I am very impressed with the service that they offered (Rodney was the only person I worked with directly). Both times I went in Rodney was busy explaining what needed to be done to fix their computer. He was very honest with his explanations, not trying to sell the customer more than they needed and the estimates on how much time would be billed was very fair (no billing 3 hours on a 1 hour job). The bill I received for my laptop repair was very reasonable considering parts alone were over half the cost (needed a totally new case). I dropped it off and was told that it was ready within 72 business hours, which is really good for having to order the parts and Rodney did a great job. The laptop looks brand new. I would very much recommend Affordable Computer Repair to anyone who needs help with their computer but doesnt want to have to worry about getting taken advantage of!

This happened ~2 years ago - I had forgotten about it until I pulled my laptop out of the box that has been its home. After having the laptop for ~2 years my DC jack burnt out and since I wasnt too comfortable soldering myself I took it into Affordable Computer Repair since Id heard good things. After about a week I got a call saying that the laptop was ready and I returned and picked it up from his sons who also worked there. When I returned home and attempted to boot the laptop it no longer worked. After searching around online and getting second opinions, the culprit seemed to be a fried motherboard. I immediately went back to talk about it with them, the laptop worked fine before getting my DC Jack repaired (in fact - I found the Affordable Computer Repair website on that laptop before it ran out of juice) so I assumed they would at least work with me and see what we could do. But after talking with them, they refused to acknowledge that they could have fried my motherboard and since it was dead (because broken dc jack) when I brought it in they didnt believe that it worked in the first place. I believe thats absolutely terrible service, especially after admitting to me that your sons had most likely worked on my laptop and its definitely plausible that they fried it (which they did). Just spreading the word - youre better off going anywhere besides Affordable Computer Repair.

I had a wonderful experience at Affordable Computer Repair. They were all very kind and knew exactly what to do to fix my phone. I took my iPhone 5 in for a repair that Apple told me was not possible to do and Bryan made it happen. I will always take my computers, iPhones, iPads, and any other electronics that need fixed to them. Affordable Computer Repair is not just their name, it is the way they do business. It was easy to set up a time to get my phone fixed and it only took a short amount of time to do what I and other companies deemed impossible. They were very professional. A++ for customer service. This was a great experience. I will recommend Affordable Computer Repair to anyone that is in need of electronic repair.

I had just purchased a laptop that within a week crashed on me completely. I had been working on a file to post to my blog and couldnt retrieve the file. I called around and many other places charge literally HUNDREDS of dollars for this service. Affordable Computer Repair was able to retrieve this file for me for $25 after working on it for 4 days! (The hard drive was extremely corrupted) I thought this was such an amazing deal and I was so stoked they were able to retrieve my file I gave them a $10 tip. They live up to their name, and are very nice people, I would recommend them to everybody for your computer woes!

When my computer crashed recently I was very frantic. I tried to fix it myself and got very frustrated. I chose this company because their website showed that we shared some common beliefs about faith in God. I was willing to buy a new computer but this computer had at least a terabyte of family pictures and videos on it (birth of children, wedding, trips to Africa, etc.). I did back it up via the cloud but it would have taken a very long time to get it all back. They fixed my computer very quickly and I got all my data back. I would use them again and I will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Took in a laptop that I had dropped. The thing was literally in pieces. Bryan was able to get the machine looking BRAND NEW! I did have to take it back in the day after I picked it up, but that is because the screen had gone out. I really truly believe that was just coincidence, and likely happened during the original accident. They told me that the screen was along the lines of the same problem I had it in for originally, so they only charged me for the part! These guys are great, affordable, super fast, and a pleasure to work with. This is my ONLY source for hardware repairs in Omaha now.

My dog knocked a glass of water on my Macbook Pro. I googled and found this place. I called and talked with the owner, who was super helpful and nice. He told me to just bring it in whenever and he would take it apart for me and check for damage for ~$100. I brought it in around 12:30, he called around 2:30 and said it was ready to be picked up and everything was fine! Overall Im very satisfied with my experience here, and glad I didnt take it to the Apple store. Highly recommended.

I work in Bellevue and it was convenient for their Bellevue business to simply pick it up from where I work and deliver it back when done. It works great now, was affordable as their name suggests, and I was contacted by phone and email about the exact cost of repairs and what was wrong with it. Very pleased with the entire transaction. And BTW, the pickup and delivery service for my transaction, there was no extra charge.
