I had visited Heartland Computer in the past, and had a good experience when I needed to move data from an old computer to an external hard drive. The gentleman that owns the place seems knowledgeable and customer service oriented. Well, recently I was traveling home from a business trip in Toronto, and dropped my laptop at the airport. I couldnt get it to turn on, so I took it into Heartland Computer for a "free" estimate. The owner wasnt there, but I was helped by a younger guy with glasses (wish I had got his name). I was told the hard drive was fried, which I figured. I was then charged $35. I told him I thought estimates were free, and he told me the hard drive scan was "diagnostic" and I incurred a $35 fee. I was told they would waive the fee if I had the laptop HD replaced there (about half the cost of just buying a new computer at NFM). So I just paid the $35, took my broken laptop and left. The next day, I received a voicemail from him, saying they had forgotten to give me back my power cord. I travel a lot on business, and didnt make it back to Omaha until 6 or 8 weeks later. I get to HC and the power cable seemed to have disappeared. They pulled my record and knew the dates I had visited. They didnt have a cord for me and asked if I had saved the voicemail (which I didnt). I went in twice and they couldnt find it, nor give me any options (or find me a new one for a common HP computer). Maybe after having a pleasant experience for my first visit, I was expecting too much. I feel their "free estimates" advertising is deceptive, and I am upset they couldn’t find my cord, or do something to fix the situation (I sold the broken laptop, and ended up paying $40 for a new cord to give the buyer). It is highly unlikely I will visit Heartland Computer again.

Last night I was installing my new video card and knew I was missing a cable, but I wasnt sure what it was called. I called Heartland Computers and asked about the cable in the best way that I could think of. After a minute of me struggling to describe what I need, Roger, the owner, asked me to send him a picture of my video card and my power supply. He then called me back to tell me what I would need, and also that he really thought it probably came with that cable. I told him it hadnt, so he dug around his home office to see if he could find me one the same night, so I would not need to wait until the morning. He asked if he could call me back after searching a bit. He called me back saying that he had found one and I was free to come pick it up, but let me know it was his home office. I went over and when I got there, I could smell dinner ready and I felt pretty bad, but he was in high spirits. He explained to me exactly how I would get the cable configured and then bid me a goodnight. This was one of the best customer service experiences of my life, and I felt the need to share it. I met Raj Sherstha about 4 years ago when He open his shop HEARTLAND COMPUTERS in Omaha Nebraska. I was having problems with a lemon of a computer put together by a another PC store in Omaha.I was looking for some one that could do the job right ,and I found him. In time I had Raj put together a computer form me to replace the lemon of this other computer. There been small problems with it but he stood behind his work and some time and some times losses to keep me, his customer happy. I recently heard that Raj was shutting his store in Omaha down, but he also told me if I had any problems to call him and he come and pick up the pc and fix it and deliver it right back so this made me very happy. In Short, Raj Sherstha is what a business owner should be be, believes in what he does and stands behind it whole heatedly. Thank you Raj, For all that you did for me. John Jay Aschenbrenner

I wanted a upgrade from my old amd system i build over 5 years ago. So i went to Heartland Computer to see what they had (saves me time from having to wait for it to be shipped). I went there and the staff and owner were really nice and informative. I built my entire computer from parts i bought from them. Every thing works great! I had 1 issue were my psu i thought didnt have a 4 pin connection and i called them. The owner was really nice and told me to come in with the psu and he would have a look. He took the 8 pin and showed me it split so to be used for 4 pin connections if needed. I felt stupid but we both laughed and joked about it. Very glad i came here and met these wonderful people. Great products at a fair price. Would recommend to a friend for sure! Included i have pictures of my build that i created from Heartland Computers.

I am the owner of Top of The Line Steel Buildings, LLC in Treynor, IA., we had a computer crash early in 2016 in our office. So I called on Roger at Heartland Computer. They had to build me a new computer and saved more off my old hard drive then I thought they would. They built me a new computer and I had them build me a server system for my business. What a difference they have made in my business and they even set up a easier email design so all my emails I have are on the same page. Then I had them also built me a professional website that I am very proud of. This company will be the only company that will work on our business computer, personal computers or website. My experience with heartland computers was great I had a dell desktop that was having trouble connecting to the internet, I originally called dell and they were going to charge me $200 to try and help me with my problem, so thinking that was a lot of money to pay for a problem that could be so minor I looked around and found heartland computers, they were so helpful they took the time to look at my computer and told me everything that would be needed to be done on my computer and the costs that would be included. In a few short days I picked up my computer and everything was running great again. The service here was above and beyond my expectations

Heartland Computers is a great company and an asset to the Omaha area!! All associates are polite, extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. I have used their services on more than one occasion, and have always been extremely impressed! The work has consistently been completed on time, for a fair price, and they have been available for questions, info, and support both during and after services were provided. They offer a lot of services, including web design, so I suggest you consult with them to inquire. Ive already recommended them to family and friends.
