Overall, my experience with Affordable Computer Repair was not the best. My laptop screen had fallen off of my screen after being stepped on and every other repair shop that gave me a quote estimated $400+ to fix the issue. Upon finding Affordable Computer Repair, it was estimated to be about a $250 fix depending on the cost of parts. This seemed much more reasonable to me and I left my computer with the friendly personnel there who estimated two weeks for finding the parts and repairing the laptop. Then I waited. And waited. A little over two weeks later I called in to check the status of my laptop (granted these two weeks included Christmas and New Years so I expected a bit of a delay) and the worker said that he was still searching for parts for my laptop. Apparently since my laptop was an uncommon model (Asus Q550LF) it had been difficult to find parts. But two weeks and parts still hadnt been found seemed a bit ridiculous to me. A week later I called again and was told that parts had been ordered and my laptop should be done within the next week. I was slightly disgruntled it had taken so long since I heavily rely on my computer for school (which had started again) but accepted that the situation of the laptop and holiday season made it difficult to repair the laptop within the original two week time frame. The next week I had still not heard any updates about my laptop, so I called in again and was told the parts were still on the way. At this point I asked about which parts were giving him trouble to get and it was the laptop hinge. I happened to find the original hinge in my room from when my laptop broke and drove it to the shop to avoid waiting any longer. The next day my laptop was done and when I went to pick it up I was told that he simply put my laptop back together with the original bezel and screen rather than ordering new ones as I had been previously told was happening. This seemed ridiculous to me and I was not pleased with the outcome other than the cheap price tag of about $150 for fixing my laptop. Further, my laptop battery completely stopped charging after I had received my laptop back. My battery had been showing signs of going out prior, but would still charge and I suspect that my laptop had just sat dead for so long in the shop that it completely stopped working, which cost me an additional $75 to replace. Overall, I was displeased with the nonexistent updating of my laptops status and the incredibly long time period where I was without my laptop while "parts were being ordered". The service was friendly and helpful when asked, but did not seem very committed to making an effort to keep me updated about the status of the repair.

My laptop (a very old Acer) recently stopped charging, even though the cord appeared to be working. I contacted Affordable Computer Repairs Maple shop to ask what might be wrong, they were super helpful and clearly outlined what would likely need to be done. After deciding I couldnt fix the problem myself, I brought the laptop into the shop, the staff was really friendly. It took less than a week to get the parts in and the laptop fixed, during which they communicated what was happening and the costs incurred along the way. They even delivered it back to me! Would definitely recommend these guys to friends.

Had an issue with the latch, not the technology. They had to order a replacement top cover. Was very pleased with the service I received. Took the computer back home until they called saying the part had arrived. Once I dropped it off I only had to wait 2 hours to pick it up. Totally pleased with the service. Gentleman was helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Ive been technical support for over 10 years, but due to extenuating circumstances, I didnt have the time to troubleshoot my custom pc. They chased my issue for over a week before finding the solution. It was a fairly obscure hardware problem, and it would have been very costly to solve on my own. Good customer service. Good people.

Had a few follow up questions when I got home and Steve provided exceptional customer service. Will definitely refer others to him!

Steve the owner actually helped me with my laptop. I had an issue if I hadnt taken care of it would have cost me a lot more. So it was money well spent. He got it taken care of on the same day. Steve is knowledgeable and very friendly. Glad I found him. I would highly recommend this company.

First I went to continental on 72ND and Dodge to get my laptop fix and they were trying to charge me a $275 to fix and it will take a week to get it fix. When I took it in to Affordable Computer he charge me less for that and he fix it the same day. Thank you for fixing my laptop

When I was first having computer problems, I went to my local PC repair store. After waiting over two months, and nothing was done, I ended up going back picking it up. I eventually found Steve at ACR, and within a day my computer was up and running. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
