My husband brought our computer in to be looked at because it wasnt powering on and steve thought it was the power supply so he took mine out and replaced it with another one...after that he tried powering it on and still nothing....so he puts my original one back in with a different power cord and come to find out that is all it was...JUST A POWER CORD....and guess what he charged for 10 minutes of his time? 60 dollars and says the power cord is free....WOW....it would have been okay if the computer actually needed repair or if you at least warned him about what its gonna cost before you go fixing things....That is the most expensive cord ive ever purchased in my life...not too mention about 8 months ago he worked on my mac computer and replaced my hard drive and said i need a disk drive as well...2 days later the computer starts overheating and my mac wont read any disks...charged me 300 dollars for that too...He is a really nice guy and if you dont ask about what your being charged for you might get screwed in the end...NEVER DOING BUSINESS THERE AGAIN!!!!!....JUST A WARNING TO PEOPLE WHO MIGHT BE FOOLED BY HIS KINDNESS!!!!!! actually we did contact you on our way to texas 5 days after you gave us the computer back because it was still overheating and the dvd drive didnt work but we were going to my fathers funeral and werent in town to bring it right away...when we told you about it on the phone you said you were thinking about opening your new store and you would get back to us about where to bring it...sorry if it took a while to finally want to get it fixed as we were going through a bunch of things in our life but you knew from the time we got it back that the work you did was not what we paid for...we got back a computer with a smaller hard drive with none of our data because you "couldnt recover it" and a dvd drive that doesnt read disks and a overheating problem that you said you fixed...so basically you got 300 dollars from us for getting the computer to boot back up...i have no reason to lie and you know that we contacted you right away about the apple computer we just didnt ever get it back to you because of our circumstances...doesnt mean that the problem went away and you shouldnt take care of it...if this was geek squad it probably would have been done right the first time and not even need to bring it back...probably cheaper too.

The service was amazing. I have had my PC for about 5 years. I had invested a lot of money into it initially. It went out one day so I took it to ANOTHER PC repair place and after a few hundred dollars later they said it was working. (IT WASNT). I called them back and they said they could look at it again later in the week. So I just hung up and called Affordable Computer repair and spoke with Brian. He was very kind and understanding. Everything about this gentlemen was proffesional. He quoted me a price to look at it and had my PC until it was FIXED to my satisfaction. The price he quoted me blew me away (way to cheap in my mind). I wanted to pay more for the service that this company had performed. My PC runs better than when it was new and Brian went the extra mile to make sure I was well taken care of! Thanks again Affordable Computer Repair!!!!! I will be back if an issue ever arrises again!

I managed to do a bad spill on the keyboard of my 2009 17" MacBook Pro several years ago. Apple wanted $1200 because they would not just replace the keyboard, but said they would only repair it if they replaced the logic board as well. Ive had to live without a left shift key since then. That key is necessary for hardware resets, plus it is really handy to have it working for typing! :) For 1/5th that cost, Affordable Computer replaced the keyboard and I have my "baby" back. Thank you so much for the great service!

He closed down all his Omaha Stores. So what he does now is free pickups and deliveries. Worked out perfectly. I needed a computer screen replaced. Called around most people gave me a quote around $300+. He did it for $150 and some change. Fixed it in I think 5 days, which was fine with me. Really friendly guy. Helped me with my other laptop over the phone for free. I will go back to him if I ever have computer problems again.

Quality work at reasonable prices. Fall 2013 I dropped my laptop and the screen facing came off. They ordered the part and installed it for about $50. Spring 2014 they came to the office and installed/set-up a 4-monitor video card for about $85. I called Schrock about doing the video card and they told me the price would start at $150 if I brought it to their shop. Strongly recommend Affordable Computer for repairs and installations.

Excellent work, they talked me through all of the options and discussed all the potential costs of the work they might do. After explaining the options and evaluating my laptop, they said would be willing to fix it and that there were two practical options, but that with an older machine like mine it would be more practical and less expensive to replace the computer. I trust them and was very happy with the work.

Where my cord plugs into my laptop had broken and would not keep a charge. Took it in shortly after the store opened at 11am desperate to get it fixed. Not only is it my laptop for my work, it had my play list saved for when I go into labor (which is any day now). By 12:30p that same day I got the call it was fixed!
