Only Pros! No Cons! So far Ive been nothing short of impressed getting my SUV serviced at CoAuto. Value for Money -Only charged me $30 for an general diagnostic on the vehicle. Peace of Mind -All the parts I had installed are covered by a 24K mile warranty two year warranty and comes with roadside assistance for a year Prompt Service -I had a 8am appointment and the team at CoAuto was ready. I was able to drop off my car and head out after only a few minutes. Keeping me Up to date Ive never had a mechanic keep me so well informed on the progress of my service. He treated my SUV like I had left an injured child with him. In total I had 5 separate phone calls with Vinnie. After telling me his diagnostic he further went on to very clearly explain why he recommended service with estimates on cost every step of the way. -Before beginning any work he made sure to get my approval. Twice Vinnie called to update me on cost increases and when I could expect to pick up my vehicle. -Ride Home Shuttled me home after dropping off my car. Then picked me up when my car was ready! Cant beat that! Lobby The interior is painted in a vibrant orange and decorated with works by local artists and automotive merchandise. This place breaks the negative stereotypes of car shops! And correctly focuses not only on the automotive but customer service as well.

CoAuto has worked on my vehicle a few times now, and every time, they under-promise and over-deliver. The entire team is kind and respectful. The owners, two brothers, are great mechanics and just all around nice guys. Their new facility is a work of art. They display a ton of local artists work, and the shop has a beautiful mural on the wall. Ive done some work for a number of mechanic shops in town on the IT side of things, and I have never seen a shop as clean as theirs. I once heard a saying, that you can tell how much a tradesman loves his trade by how well he takes care of his tools, and this shop is the epitome of that saying. The "Co," in CoAuto, apparently stands for Community Conscious, and with the number of services, classes, and amount of charity they do for the Reno-Sparks community, really shows that they mean it. Every time I have had my vehicle worked on, they have spent the time to educate me on what they did, why they did it, and how I can take better care of my vehicle. Not to mention, they also provide an amazing warranty and reimbursement for towing, up to a certain amount, for a year or two. I am not sure where else in Reno, you can get the same level of service and warranty, as you can here. I will be taking my vehicle here, from here on out. I recommend the same to anyone reading this.

You can depend on them to do the job right today and be around into the future. In other words, True Gearheads: these guys know cars, trucks, dirtbikes, snowmobiles, etc. They also understand the importance of community. Ive had two different vehicles worked on by them and both were done right the first time because theyd done their research. (Wish I could say the same for some other places in town.) Co-Auto was also flexible and worked fast when I told them I needed my truck back for a period in in-between two different repairs one of the vehicles needed. So why 4 stars? Their receptionist must be really overworked because when I ask her a question that shell have to relay to the mechanics she gives me a response of, "Ok if the answer is such and such I wont call you back." I dont think calling me back with the answer to my question is that big a hardship so like I said, she must just be really overworked.

This family owned business is by far the best auto shop in Reno. If you dont know much about cars and the terrible things that can happen to them and youre looking for a place you can trust to do you justice then you have found it. These brothers are great mechanics and they actually care about the people who come to them. Theyll give you a good deal too! My old escort needed quite a bit work when I brought it to them and they found all the necessary parts in town for the repairs and got it up in running in a speedy manner. I thought I was going to be looking at a very expensive bill but it turned out to be quite reasonable considering all the hard work they put into it. I will suggest CoAuto for all family friends from now on and they will definitely be a permanent auto shop for my vehicle. Thanks CoAuto you Rock!!!

CoAuto did an outstanding job checking and recharging the air conditioning system on my 2007 Mazda Miata. After their work, the air is at least 15 degrees colder coming out of the vents. Vinnie and his team went above and beyond what I expected. He found that my battery was missing one of the retaining bolts. Fortunately they were able to fix that on the spot in just 5 minutes - saving me an hour or more trying to find the right part at an auto parts store. I plan to take my car (and my wifes car) back for additional work. Oh yeah, they also have free Wi-Fi in their lobby!

Very rude. This business is right by my friends house and they park oversized vehicles in HER driveway without permission. My friend asked them nicely to not park there and they were extremely rude to her and told her to just "be careful" as she backs out. I wouldnt support a business that parked on my property and just acted like its my problem. DO NOT GO HERE. You will be supporting people who have no respect for your things, space or time. If they cant respect the residents that LIVE on the same street as their business then they cant be a respectable business.

Staff were extremely transparent with the work they performed throughout the entire process. I have a very old vehicle with odd quirks and it did take them a long time (10 days) to figure out the issue it was having. But I have to respect the communication and professionalism they displayed. They also charged me a very fair price considering how much time they put into the job. Ive had more than my fair share of shady mechanic encounters, but this shop gave me a very good first impression. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend this place. The staff was awesome and super friendly. The shop was clean and exhibits local art. I love everything that CoAuto does for the community. They even gave a free car to a local Veteran in need. Talk about going above and beyond! Lets not forget their awesome pricing. I called every mechanic in town and CoAuto beat every other quote by at least $50. Thanks again to Larry for helping me out. Stop searching for mechanics and give these guys a call!

Brought them my 1995 4runner for a timing belt job. When I go to pick it up, it was about 60$ more than I was quoted. When they did the job, I ended up needing a serpentine belt and a radiator cap. I also work in a trade and know that sometimes it must be done. After explaining, I was ready to pay to extra. The owner waved the difference because they didnt call me. I will go back for more work, I will send my friends. They did a great job.
