I am blessed to have walked into this shop! The team at this location are incredible to say the least, and I mean that, special thanks to Don (Papa Don), Jeff, and Miguel. Each team member at this location is friendly, funny, knowledgeable and kind. I had to have more work done on my 98 Jeep, as the first go around didnt quiet fix everything. I brought it back in, and the team made sure to fix any wrongs (if any), inspect everything, and fix ALL issues related to the "Death Wobbles". I am beside myself at the amount of work that has been done to my Jeep and for the price too!! This thing drives like a completely new truck. I would and am recommending this shop to everyone I know. This is now my family mechanic shop!! Thanks guys!! : ) March 4, 2012 I just wanted to say, what another awesome experience! I brought in my husbands jeep and now it drives like a completely different vehicle. WOW!!! I also wanted to compliment Don the service manager, he is always friendly and helpful as well as the entire staff at this location. I have never meet a bunch of people just happy and willing to help. What an incredible experience! Don, you will always have my business!

These guys are so full of crap. I took my truck in for an oil change. They tell me that I have three belts that need to be replaced. They tell me they are so bad that I need to do it as soon as possible. They tell me 217.00 to replace them, they tell me the belts are 39.99 each and the labor is 99.00. I go to a parts store buy the three belts for a total of 37.00 and had them put on for 40.00. But the kicker is that those belts were not cracked, like they told they were not worn like they told me and did not need to be replaced YET. Yes I got them replaced because I was worried but when I saw the old belts I knew this was nothing but a lie. I would recommend you NEVER take your vehicle to this place unless you want to be told lies and over charged. I am so disappointed in the place that I would NEVER return if they were the only shop in town.

These other reviews are total balonie. The managers name wasnt even Jeff, and they had a hispanic worker there, knowledgeable, and good at the work he does from what I can tell. Tires Plus was a great experience for us. Very honest. They called us and told us the front brakes were fine and needed absolutely nothing. Honest shops dont do that. Dishonest shops ALWAYS find SOMETHING they can charge you for. Brakes work like a charm now. VERY personable, fun-loving customer service. Seemed to know their trade very well. And the parts were life time warrantied (I did not have to purchase this warranty - it comes with their service). They even replaced our windshield wipers. They seemed reasonably priced. Maybe not the cheapest, but the quality and service was well worth the money. I will go back there exclusively for brakes, tires, and more.

Ive been coming to this shop for a few years now. I always price tires out prior to purchasing, and this shop always gets the edge, but not because of the pricing. The prices are reasonable for the area, right in line with similar shops in Reno. What gives them the edge is (aside from them being near my house) is their quality of service and not charging me from tire rotations or flats. Twice in the last three years Ive had a flat tire and broght it to this Tires Plus, and at no point did they every ask for money or try to fix something other than the tire. They will occassionaly try to upsell some other products, but what store doesnt? Ive never seen any Jeff there that the other reviewers talk about. Ive had my 4WD Chevy and an Audi TT worked on there. Good place.

Do not use this place! After shopping around for a good price I went in to get new brake pads and shoes since they supposedly had a deal going on. It turned out that I was charged nearly double what other businesses were quoting. Not only that, but the list of "problems" with my car that I was told was incredibly fabricated. For example, I had bought a new battery a month back but was told it was almost dead. When I mentioned that he retracted his statement by saying "whoops, I must have read that wrong." They also said that I needed new struts even though they had been fully replaced within the last year and nothing had happened to them since. Basically, do not use this place unless you have tons of money that you are willing to throw away when it isnt necessary.

I went in for a brake service, purposely playing like i knew nothing about cars. A larger man helped me, i did not get a chance to get his name. They take my car and inspect it. The man comes back and quotes me 1,300 dollars in repairs to the the brakes, and ball joints. I immediately saw what this man was doing. I told them not to touch my car. I have my car serviced by my company mechanic, who happened to be on vacation during this time. When he returned i had him look at my vehicle, and who would have thought. All i needed were new pads for my breaks. I ended up paying 200 dollars for parts and labor. I find in gross that a company would even attempt to essentially steal money from hard working Americans. If your thinking of coming here, trust me you can do better.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE - CHECK YOUR OPTIONS! Theres Big - O right now the street. My car had a flat tire, and it had to be towed here since the spare tire on back had a locking lug nut and could not be opened by roadside service. The service man took one look at the car and told me I needed 4 new tires (but wait- today we have a sale, buy 3 get the 4th free - SCAM within itself) for ONLY $450. I told them to put my spare on, and I would take full responsibility even though the spare didnt match my other tires - I just needed to get home to Truckee (30 miles). They refused. My friend ended up putting on the tire. I understand policy, but I agreed to sign a waiver, and I felt they were really not wanting me to leave without new tires.

Went in for an alignment which went well, minus the fact that they were unable to recalibrate the yaw sensor due to equipment or just incompetence. As soon as I got in my truck there was an indicator light on. Went home to try and do a reset by disconnecting the battery with no luck so I went back in and they tried to blame me and my aftermarket suspension which is BS since I already had it aligned twice at a different shop with no issues at all. Had to take it in to the dealer to have it reset properly. Save your money and go elsewhere that is competent to get the job done correct the first time.
