These U-haul people are the most dishonest guys around ! They will manipulate the Odometer at will. I had a very bad experience, I rented a cargo van for around an hr and drove around 6 miles and returned it. They charged me for ridiculous 44miles. I said there was something wrong with Odometer and challenged Manager to take a Test drive then and there, he did not agree to that. He did charge me with full 44 miles inspite of me explaining him everything. Then I went to complaint to their Customer action form. Under the heat the popcorn of Mr.manager started to pop. The next day when I called to enquire..he started offering me, coupons. When I asked him why did not agree for test drive..he started to cook up stories.. like family emergency etc., Bottomline..Dont rent from this U-haul location. They will manipulate the Odometer illegally and overcharge especially on a slow day..to show some sales at the cost of customer. People working there and Manager all collude in this stuff. If you still have to rent at this place as last option. 1) Make sure you check your starting mileage. 2) Make sure you check the Trip. 3) Last and most important..Go for a small Test drive...Because otherwise their Odometer will run faster than Tom hanks in Forest Gump. Absolute cheaters to the core and dishonest people..Avoid them at all cost.

Rented a 10 foot box truck for a 600 mile round trip. When I reserved the truck I asked about having it back in time for the next day drop off and was told I would only have to pay the 19.99 for the extra day if it was late. I was told it would be 99 cents a mile. When I went to pick the truck up I was told I would have to pay an additional 150 dollar fee if the truck was not back by 10 am the next day because it was rented for 10:30. Then came Tom to the rescue!! Not only was he able to get us the truck for 2 days but we wound up paying ony 40 cents a mile and the final cost was way less than it was going to be originally. I would absolutely recommend going here if you need to rent a u haul. Tom saved our whole trip!! Thank you so much

Very helpful employees when I called and on the day of pickup. They were accommodating, took the time to make sure I had the truck I needed for the move (15 footer is what we got) and were friendly individuals. No hidden fees and any questions were answered in detail. Will use their service again!
