I had a horrible experience with Noyes Moving and United. The driver was careless and unprofessional and showed zero concern about my impending cross-country move and my possessions. He did nothing to manage the two movers and just wandered around my house chatting away. Meanwhile, the workers, dropped boxes, put my couch on top of fragile boxes, put boxes clearly marked "Fragile" in upside down, and left items behind which I had to run after the truck to ensure their shipment. The driver assured me he would be across the country in a week. Two weeks later, with no communication from him, I call and he responds as thought he doesnt know who I am. He tells me he might be able to make it on time if he gets help. I am assuming the several thousand dollars I had already paid covered the help. He ended up arriving at the last possible day of the 2-week window. Then, he shows up at the storage unit with his very small 15 year old son and a much older gentleman. It would be funny if I didnt cringe with every box that came off the truck. At least 20 of the 80 boxes were crushed (accordion style), my bike was trashed, my a/c unit was trashed (they refused to wrap it and other items that I was assured would be wrapped), and many other items trashed/mangled. The driver refused, when I asked him three times, to provide me with a bingo sheet to inventory my items. He said I didnt need it. I was told by the United driver that I didnt pack correctly, that I used recycled boxes and didnt use enough tape. I had made the same trip 2 years earlier and did not have one item damaged. The driver and the company are suspect at best. They made sure to get paid upfront and then carelessly and thoughtlessly junked all my possessions. Consider yourself warned. When I reached out to Noyes, which I did many times throughout this long process. They simply said they didnt vet the drivers. That inspires confidence.

My experience with Donald and Phyllis was great from the first call I made to their office to inquire about getting someone to my house to give a quote on the move. Donald made it happen that day! He was very professional and very competent. He also noticed that our road was posted with weight restrictions. I had another company come for a visit and quote earlier in the day and they didnt notice or mention anything about the road being posted. Donald was able to work around that issue, quoted me a price and the price I paid in the end was exactly what he quoted me. The driver found my wifes engagement ring on the floor and brought it to her... she cried and gave him a hug because she knew he could have taken that without anyone knowing. All of our belongings arrived on time and in good condition... I did the packing myself and the only casualties were one broken wine glass and one broken table mounted fan (this had nothing to do with the moving company... this was my fault). I will HIGHLY recommend E.W. Noyes to anyone I know looking for a moving company! Thanks again Donald, Phyllis and your team!

We strongly recommend Earle W. Noyes and Sons to anyone facing a move, whether big or small, long distance or just across town. We have been moved several times over the years by different moving companies, and until we were moved by Noyes, it was never even close to a positive experience. Our last two moves were done by Noyes, and on both occasions they made what could have been very stressful events into a terrific experiences. One of our Noyes moves was from one state to another, and the other was local within our town. Don Olen and the Noyes team had everything completely under control, and communicated with us along every step of the way. For both of those moves, the moving team that arrived to pack and load the truck was seasoned, caring and professional. They worked carefully but efficiently, and not a single thing was misplaced or damaged during either move. They definitely delivered more than was promised and more than we expected. There were no surprises. I have recommended Noyes and Sons on many occasions, and there is no question where we turn when it comes time for our next move

I have had some bad experiences in the past with movers. This move with Noyes & Sons was a totally different. My contact person Phyllis was competent and patient with my many phone calls and questions. Always professional and pleasant. Phyllis kept me informed and called me with updates on delays etc. That same great service moved through my entire experience. My driver Renee cared for my belongings as if they were his own. Renee and his assistant packed several of my larger items for me, with care and attention to detail. Every thing arrived safely and not a single chip on crystal or Yadro. Renee also kept me informed along the way with phoned updates, I felt so at ease knowing the progress from Florida to Maine. Unloading was quick and professional with Renee checking with me on placement of each item and even stopping to tighten the legs on my desk, that had been loose for months! Worth every penny to have a moving experience go just the way you hoped it would be! Thank you Earle W. Noyes & company !

We recently moved after living in our home for 25 years. The process of cleaning out, donating, throwing, etc. was overwhelming at times. But when it came time for the physical move, the people from Earle W. Noyes & Sons were made it easy. The three movers assigned to us were absolutely fantastic. They worked very hard, very smart and very quickly. And when we werent sure where a piece of furniture should go in our new place, they gladly took the time to try out a few different locations for us. They simply could not have been more helpful. The office administrators were also friendly and helpful throughout the process. Lastly, I felt the bill was very reasonable for the back-breaking work they did. I have known the president of the company, Peter Noyes, and his family for many years. They are solid and reputable people. Dont hesitate to use E.W. Noyes & Sons.

i thought moving my business would be stressful but working with Noyes was terrific. A live person, Jean answers the phone and knows how to help you when you call. John Backman, VP for Commercial Services, expertly communicates throughout the process. John explained exactly how to pack, label and stage all your equipment, electronics, large signs, phones, desks, right down to the fragile nic-knacks. The moving foreman and crew arrive on time, are professional, careful, helpful and friendly. My move went like clock work, nothing broken, nothing lost. We were up and running the same day. I call it the Noyes system. If you have to move, Earle W. Noyes is the goto company to make it happen right.

I have used Earle W. Noyes & Sons ever since 1975 which includes at least six moves in addition to storage at times of our household goods. Every move has gone off perfectly and done in an extremely professional manner. The crews arrived when they said they would and finished when the said they would. In addition the invoice was explained in great detail and there were no added fees at the end. The warehouse and the self storage units are immaculate and climate controlled and I know many works of art are stored there by various galleries. There is also an area for car storage for both modern and antique autos. I would highly recommend Earle W. Noyes & Sons for all your moving and storage needs.
