We had a good experience. The only reason I didnt rate it 5 stars is because there were a few things that werent clear or I should have been. For example the there was confusion on my part in regards to pricing via our email conversations. I was given an estimate that didnt advise any difference in charges depending on the day and that this was a high estimate meaning our moving costs wouldnt exceed it but later when I said that I wanted to move on a Saturday I was told the price was more. It was handled appropriately by Fox and Ginn and I was not charged anything extra. Another miscommunication was that I asked the consultant to provide washer and dryer bolts for the move and was never told the cost of this until they were already installed. At that point there was nothing I could do as it was moving day. In addition, I was never told that I would need to pay the movers immediately when they were completed. There is no problem with this, I had simply thought I would be billed. Luckily I was able to find a checkbook. All in all a good experience! Most of the small issues were due to the communications missed with the consultant.

WARNING!!! If you are thinking of moving DO NOT HIRE Fox and Ginn Movers!! They are a TERRIBLE company. My parents "moved" from Maine to Georgia. Their house was packed up on June 1, 2015 and they were given a timeframe of from June 5-10, 2015 for delivery (with June 10th as the latest date of delivery). As of today, June 15, their household furniture and goods are still in Maine. They can not get a hold of ANYONE that can tell them when their furniture and goods will be delivered. We tried to call the corporate headquarters and all we get are peoples voicemails. We leave a message but NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK. One lady even hung up on my mom. My elderly parents are living in an empty apartment in their new retirement community with just a bed and folding table and chairs that were lent to them. WHAT HORRIBLE SERVICE. They spent almost $8,000 to move their house and NOTHING. This is absolutely the worst moving company in the United States (probably the world). REPEAT - DO NOT HIRE Fox and Ginn Movers!!! You will be sorely disappointed, not to mention going crazy trying to find out what happened to your things.

After experiencing a very difficult purchase of a home, we were somewhat distraught, and not looking forward to our move. The seller delayed our move twice, but Fox & Ginn accommodated us very nicely. In the end we were able to move on the day we had scheduled but at a later hour than hoped, and the Fox & Ginn crew was there early packed up and ready to go. Nothing was lost, nothing was damaged, the men were so pleasant and considerate that they turned a very unpleasant situation into a nice day. When Mike Jennings gave us his estimate I told him I only wanted to "...follow the truck." And, thats exactly all I had to do. I highly recommend Fox & Ginn Movers. They are right there for their customers before, during and after the move!! Thanks guys!!

I recently moved from Maine to Massachusetts and am very glad I used Fox and Ginn. The closing date for my new home was postponed 4 times delaying my moving date 2 weeks. Fox and Ginns office staff was very accommodating and when the closing finally took place on a Friday, they made special arrangements to have a driver and movers available on a Saturday to get me to my new home so I could begin my new job on Monday. Not only were the office staff understanding and pleasant to work with but the movers who carefully packed and loaded my possessions in Maine and the movers who unloaded them in Massachusetts were just as pleasant and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend Fox and Ginn for your next move.

I have used Fox and Ginn both personally and professionally. Not only have they done a superb job, but they have been incredibly fair and generous to our organization. I am the CEO of a non-profit community organization, and besides the professional work they do with us, they also care deeply about this community and give so much of their time and expertise to help us. I have used them for my home and camp, as well, and they have been so careful of my belongings, so professional in their approach and demeanor, and completely focused on customer service. I cant say enough about Mike Jennings and his team. I wish all companies cared as much as they do about the work that they do and the community they serve.

Once again Fox & Ginn hit it out of the ball park! This was a challenging move with complicated packing and a very anxious client. But the Fox & Ginn Team handled it all with professionalism, patience and expertise. TJ and Chriss energy levels and knowledge were valuable beyond measure to me on this project. They had GREAT customer service skills and got the job done earlier than expected! How often in Life does that happen?!! Fox & Ginn always makes my job easier. I am still, after a year and half waiting for items "sitting" in their warehouse that were left off of the truck...the customer rep acknowledged it was sitting there... my expectation was that missing and numerous items damaged... the worst move out of 17 I have ever had...I paid for insurance but never received the paper work to resolve the issues...I had heart surgery shortly after.. so just dropped the whole thing so I could de-stress and move on...They were friendly and reassuring, but did not perform up to their promises of care and good service...I would give them one star...

I want to commend the warehouse crew for the excellent customer service they provided me yesterday. They bent over backwards to meet any needs I had as well as pre-staging my storage to help me review the vaults contents. The foreman and the staff were outstanding and wanted nothing more than to ensure my needs were met. 5 stars for Fox & Ginn Movers of Bangor, ME. We have moved many times and over the last 20 years have worked with at least 6 different moving companies. Fox and Ginn is the only moving company I have worked with twice and the only group I have recommended to family. From Nikki, in the office, providing the best possible customer service to the moving team who are prompt, conscientious, personable and professional - Fox and Ginn provides both excellent service and an excellent value!

The move could not have gone better. F&G provided boxes and information that made the advance work much easier. The three gentlemen that serviced the move were wonderful! They were courteous and helpful and extremely careful with our belongings - very professional. There was always someone available to answer our questions and concerns which helps eliminate some of the stress associated with moving. A big Thanks to Nikki, Peggy and the gentlemen on the truck!
