Samantha was the most accommodating professional I have experienced in any customer service environment within the recent memory. I drove 6 hours from my current home to move out of my storage unit. It wasnt until I arrived at the storage facility that I realized I lost the keys to both of my locks. Samantha was the only person working at the time and went above and beyond to take the time to grind both of my locks down and get me in to my storage unit within minutes. After Samantha helped me get in to my unit, I was absolutely shocked when she told me she wasnt the manager. She went above and beyond her daily responsibilities to accommodate a customer that was in desperate need of help. She could have easily asked me to wait for her manager to come in a fews day later to grind down the locks but she recognized that I was in a very difficult spot and was able to go out of her comfort zone and take care of me. I will forever be thankful and will absolutely recommend this Extra Space Storage location to anyone I know looking for storage units near the NYC/NJ area.

I am with extra space storage i got there at 5:50 pm on a monday jan 9 2017 and all i was gonna do is ask a simple question and the girl that is working there as soon as she saw me pull up she quickly got up to turn the sign to closing and turned the lights off so i wouldnt come in and had the nerve to keep looking at me like she didnt do anything wrong....remember they close at 6:00 pm that day and i pulled up in the front at 5:50 pm smh..... she need to get fired.....n just now towards the end she saw me writing this and had the nerve to come to me and ask me if i needed anything so i wouldnt tell on her smh..... I said i was good and explained to her what she did that she already know of that i will get customer service another day from someone that has great customer service unlike her.

One thing I love about this facility is that the staff friendly helpful and reassuring to help me find the best possible solutions. They go above and beyond to find the best rates and locations for my storage. I recently had a meeting with Asia yesterday who assisted me habitually which was an excellent level of customer service. Now I am comfortable calling and know that she has my best interest since day one. Toshia you are just as helpful with your welcoming spirit blended with righteous professionalism. This company must be grateful to have employees such as you two. I rest my case.

My experience in moving has always been overwhelming and difficult to get through. The lovely ladies that work at the desk were just such a pleasure to work with. They made the experience so easy and welcoming. They were understanding and very precise in what Extra Space Storage had to offer as well as trying to help me find movers to work with as well. They know the area and they are really customer service driven. My mother and I are grateful and will be recommending their services to others.

First, the office staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help get us the space we needed. Out of a handful of storage facilities in the area, the Avenel office was the only one to come forward and help us by donating much needed storage space to our small non-profit organization. We are so thankful to the Avenel office for their kindness and would recommend them to anyone looking to rent storage space in the area. Special thanks to "Jr."

My experience was a very good one. I had rented from here under another management but this time around the service was a thousand times better. I was told all my options and was advise which option fitted me best. The customer service was great, they actually showed that they truly cared and that they would be there for you whenever you needed them. I switched from one Extra Space Storage to another based on rate initially. I then met the staff in this location and the service I received from the two young ladies was exceptional. They are always happy to see you and happy to assist you in any way possible. I will definitely talking about this location when any ask my opinion on storage locations. I have been using the storage unit for a few months. Every time I have question or issue and I speak with Tosha she is always very helpful and patient. Shes always available and from my experience this is very rare in customer service. As a pharma sales representative I have done business with a lot of storage units &Tosha is the best representative I have worked with. Shes great!

We encountered an issue at another Storage location that left us very upset. With the exceptional help from Junior and Tasha at the Rahway location (another location of Extra Space Storage), left us very happy. Junior went over a beyond his job to make sure we were satisfied with our issue. Junior and Tasha are an asset to Extra Space Storage.

Diligent staff and excellent facility! I wish you were publicly traded on the stock exchange! I moved my things in quickly and got all the space I needed and more at a low price, not to mention the three-month incentive. I intend to use this facility for all my storage needs, including the new classic I just acquired.

They were very friendly. They also had very competitive rates! Ms. Toshia took the time to explain all the ends and out of the storage. Ms. Asia greeting me with a smile and said if there is anything else she would be here to help ! Matt showed me the unit and also said if I needed anything he was here to help.

Extra Space Storage is such a great place to keep your belongings. It is in a convenient location and kept very neat. The units are spacious and well lit. Customers service is amazing! Chao was so nice and super helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to keep your stuff safe.

Very simple. If I move out before the end of a paid month I should be able to get a refund for the time Im not using the storage. Its not a difficult concept to grasp. Im not using it therefore I should not be paying for it. I just paid $210 for 3 days. 3 freaking days.

They are great. They work with you as long as yr honest and inform them yr having issues. They have been very great to me and my family with the consistent payment reminders or any changes. I recommend them to anyone who needs a place to storage their stuff.
