I just moved to New Jersey 3 days ago and my car stopped working. I called up Prestige Auto Repair and spoke with Jim Jackson. He asked me over the phone what the car was doing and I explained it to him. He told me it was probably a bad battery. I dont have the tools with me to test the battery as I just moved here and everything is in boxes. Jim said I could bring it right over. I jumped the car and brought it to him. He had me fixed and out the door in under 30 minutes. It was probably the best auto service I have had in years, if not ever. Fast, friendly, and accurate. You cant ask for much more than that. Oh and to top it off, while Im waiting, Im talking to Jim and hes telling me about the area since Im new here and even helping out with suggestions about just every day stuff. So add great conversation to the list as well! I will definitely be taking my vehicles to Jim for repair for as long as I live in this area. Im glad my first choice was the right one.

This is my first time working with Jim at Prestige Auto Repair, and it is was an excellent experience. I brought my Mercedes C320 in for an A service. Jim and his team were through, on time and on budget. Jim informed me of two areas that I would need to keep an eye on. My battery which had not been replaced since the purchase of the car 11 years ago, and the fact that my tires were starting to show wear on the treads and that I would need to replace them in the next thousand miles or so. He also gave my car its inspection. It is rare to find someone who truly is passionate to help their clientele, is fair minded, and is doing his business for the long term. I have had only one other mechanic that I have felt is looking after the best interests of my vehicle, and as a result, I will go to Prestige for all of my service needs on both my cars. Thank you Jim.

Prestige Auto in Bernardsville is 5-Star! In addition to maintaining our vehicles, I was recently searching for a used car as our son is getting his license. I ended up an hour away in Pennsylvania trying to find a deal. I called Jim Jackson, owner of Prestige Auto, and asked him what to look for when buying a used car. He spent 30 minutes on the phone with me as we remotely went over the vehicle, and he was not satisfied as he felt there were several red flags. Jim advised me to walk away, and we would go back the next day together. I’m glad he offered that advice and care; I did not buy that car. A week later, I was able to use all the knowledge gained from Jim Jackson and ended up with a solid, safe vehicle at a fair price within a week. Jim Jackson and Prestige Auto go out of their way to ensure the safety of our vehicles and our families!

We have been taking all our cars for service at Prestige Auto in Bernardsville for over 10 years. If you want quality service and great advice for your car take it here. Prices are reasonable and they are extremely accommodating and customer service oriented. We know the entire crew by name from Owner Jim to Service Manager Morgan to the auto technicians. Its obvious they take pride in their work and explain everything in detail. Honesty, integrity and quality are the three words I use to describe Prestige. I highly recommend them for anyones car service needs and repairs. I refer all my friends and family there and they have never been disappointed. Top notch and rare business in the auto category. I dont take the time to review many businesses but this is one I wanted to call out!

For a first time customer, I am very pleased with my experience! I had a complimentary comprehensive vehicle inspection, new tires mounted and balanced, and a wheel alignment. The prices are fair and the customer service was great! Morgan went above and beyond to call me multiple times and walk me through the entire process. I am, admittedly, a skeptic of automotive repair shops and Prestige blew me away! They didnt try to sell me anything that wasnt needed. My car drives butter smooth now. I will go back every time and will tell all my friends go there for their automotive repair/maintenance needs.

Before we actually became customers, on two separate occasions we brought our cars in, and both times Prestige let us know that while they could do the work, it wasnt necessary. One time they pointed us back to our dealer, saying the repair should be covered under warranty, and the other they let me know how I could do the repair myself for much less. Since then, theyve been our go-to for nearly three years. The customer service is extraordinary, the quality of work has been exemplary, and the overall experience has been excellent. One of the hardest thing to do is find a mechanic whos only motivation is to take care of his customers and their cars. When you go to Prestige Auto Repair, you are met with either Morgan or Jim Jackson himself. You immediately know that there is no funny business going on here. They fix what is broken and offer responsible and necessary recommendations for maintenance. If you have a car, you need a good mechanic. If you go to Prestige Auto Repair, you will get a great mechanic.

I have always taken my cars to the dealer for service, but this time I tried out Prestige Auto, mostly for convenience, but also to support a local business. It was a great experience, they helped me to get my car to the shop and back to my office, and fixed it in a timely fashion. They also were much more reasonable then going to the dealer, and didnt tell me that I needed a list of other things done. I will definitely use them again. Thank you Prestige !!!

Ive been going to Jim for a few years now and couldnt be happier with the service I receive. Jim knows his stuff and has an attention to detail when diagnosing problems that I really appreciate. They let you know if there are other issues or preventative maintenance that could be done while your car is apart - which saves you money and problems down the road, without trying to sell you needless repairs. I trust them and recommend them highly.

Great experience! I had my SUV at the dealership 4 times without resolving the problem. One visit to Prestige and they accurately diagnosed and fixed the problem. Their expertise is second to none; I have come to trust them with all my automotive needs. Ive also consulted Jim about selling two cars and buying a used vehicle, and would never buy or sell without consulting him first. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Jim Jackson and his staff are honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely care about your vehicle and the people you send down the road in it. I would never take our 2011 Tahoe to the dealer. Prestige provides better care for the vehicle and I never feel like Im being "sold" service. I feel very comfortable sending my family Dow. The road in a vehicle cared for by the Prestige staff.
