I will never return to this place after today. I was a long-time customer of this shop. Today I brought my girlfriends car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment yesterday, and was hurried off the phone by Chris. Cut to today: walk in the door, and low and behold, they dont have me down for my 11:00 appointment! Ok, fine. Ill wait around. One hour later, my battery needs to be replaced immediately! My hoses are "spongy" and need to be replaced immediately! Overall, the car needs $500 worth of work or I will surely die leaving the shop. Chris, who I presume is the owner or manager, rings me up. I had presented a coupon for $19.99 for an oil change and tire rotation, the latter of which they did not even do, and was charged $25. When I inquired about the extra charge, Chris slammed the receipt down in front of me and told me to "read it", exclaiming that the extra charge was tax. Last time I checked, 7% of 19.99 was roughly 1.40. He then says that the extra charge was for "shop supply fees". Shouldnt "shop supplies" for a simple oil change be included in the price of the oil change? In addition to my experience, I personally watched him tell customers who had made appointments that they did not have them booked. I saw him treat the girl at the desk like garbage, yell at employees, and generally act like customers were his biggest problem. Dont worry, Chris. I wont be a problem for you anymore. Neither will my family, my friends, or hopefully anyone that reads this review. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

My rear defroster does not work, so we went to Midas to get it fixed. Given our work schedules and commutes, my husband and I could only get the car in on a Saturday. They told us they do not diagnose on Saturdays. A few weeks go by and we finally have a chance to drop the car off on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We get a call on Saturday evening saying that they had just figured out that the problem as something electrical. (diagnosed on a SATURDAY!) Apparently, their electrical guy only works on weekdays, so he would have to come in on Monday to fully diagnose the problem. They did not give us an estimate or anything, but we figured we needed it fixed so we told them to go ahead. We also asked for a new pair of wiper blades. Monday rolls around, and my husband has a half day. He hasnt yet received another call from them, but figures that theyve already had the car for four days, so he would check to see if theyd made any progress. They had not. They claimed replacing the part would cost $200, and that the man hours ($95 per hour) would be $500-600 more. My husband said we would think about it and that we needed the car. They then told him they had to finish putting the car back together, and he waited for about 15 minutes. They failed to put back several panels. They also charged us $40 for the wiper blades. This has BY FAR been the worst experience weve ever had with a mechanic.

Absolutely disgusted - this facility is operating simply to overcharge for unneeded services. I was informed I needed a power steering flush, after only 10,000 from my previous flush. I was also told my air cabin filter needs to be replaced, which I found extremely odd because two weeks earlier I had replaced a blower motor resistor sensor myself & decided to do the cabin air filter at the same time. Really? Another service I "needed" was an engine filter, I checked that too and it was not in need of replacement. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss why misleading customers is an acceptable billing practice. I would also like to send you photos of my filters, and a copy of my invoice for the power steering flush to support the argument that this store is a ripoff!

I have been a regular customer at this midas, randolph and so far they have been nice but not exceptional yet. Hopefully they will get there soon. The one gripe that I have with Midas in general is that they need to mention about discounts without expecting people to show coupons, in the current age of competition they need to incentivize and attract people without asking them to present coupons in general. This way the customer would be confident and visit more often without worrying about researching on coupons.

Not happy about this place. Went for a simple oil change, requested Synthetic, only to find out they put in Regular Oil, yet charged me for Synthetic change. Even the mileage sticker indicated a next oil change in 3000 miles for regular oil. Guy said they put on the wrong sticker, but later confirmed that they did not put in the right oil in my car. I wont even go into the upsell of parts. Quoted me about $800 to do just my front brakes. This place is on my sh*tlist and I will NOT be returning here, ever.

Weve brought our Ram1500 to another Midas facility and have spent hundreds of dollars in services and repairs. After visiting the Midas on Route 10 in Randolph NJ, I can honestly say, not all Midas are the same. From the moment my wife and I entered, we were greeted warmly and all our concerns answered completely and professionally by Mrs. Veronica. The facility is clean, comfortable and easy to get to. You can bet we will continue to use them for all our vehicle needs.
