Was leaving AC early one morning in early May, when my engine light came on and it started running rough. Nursed it over to their shop before they opened based on the recent positive reviews and was luckily the first one there. They quickly diagnosed it and gave a price and time estimate. While waiting, they even gave me a ride to their local Wawa store for coffee and breakfast. On my return my car was practically ready and was actually done in half the time they estimated since they had two mechanics working on it. Runs great, price was right on with the estimate. The owners were obviously familiar with and well liked by their regular customers. In the few instances I saw, gave a couple car owners the rundown of what they did and didnt need done. If I lived in the area, Id make them my regular mechanics.

I was passing through on vacation and my 2008 Dodge minivan transmission started to slip. I stopped by on Thursday mid day and was greeted by the manager. He saw my family was on vacation and got us right in. They provided transportation to the hotel for my family and were able to get us back on the road by Saturday afternoon with a fresh rebuilt transmission. I really appreciate them working late to finish my van, as I can see they have a really busy shop. The transmission shifts like new. I would highly recommend this shop! Thanks again.

I received a brand new transmission from Greg about a year ago. Recently, my car has been acting weird, so i took it in to get a look. Turns out it was the transmission. I had originally bought this transmission under full warranty. Greg refused to honor the lifetime warranty and wanted to charge me a lot to basically have him correct his own mistakes. He should have installed it correctly in the first place. I will be avoiding AAMCO and I hope to help others steer clear of this site especially.

My 2004 Jaguar XJ8 needed a new transmission! Ugh! My husband brought it over to AAMCO in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. I am pleased to say the service was fantastic, professional, and I am a very happy customer. There was a minor problem as well with an engine light coming on, but that too was taken care of professionally and kindly. My Jaguar is driving like a dream again. I recently had the transmission rebuilt on my Tundra. Art and Greg were extremely professional and saved me a lot of money. I was so impressed I bought my Mercedes back a week later for brakes and a tune up. I am glad these guys fix things right the first time... I would highly recommend them for auto-transmission, tune-ups, brakes, you name it...They are truly honest and trustworthy. Thanks so much. Appreciate.

Its a great place. Very friendly staff and proficient mechanics /technicians. I thought they had one of the best prices in the area. The only reason I didnt give 5 starts is because despite making an appointment for an oil change, I still had to wait over 45 just for them to work on my vehicle. But the quality of work may be worth the wait.

Best transmission shop around. The Owner really cares about his customers. I have had 3 cars repaired at this location in the past 4 years and have always been very impressed with the staff and the work done on my vehicles. If you are having transmission issues, go to Aamco in EHT. Definitely the most trustworthy auto repair shop in the area!

Total rip off. Go to get a speedometer and spark plugs fixed. Led to more and more issues. Speedometer price was 3-400 more than other places. Didnt fix that but got the spark plugs and other stuff fixed. Car worked fine for a day then the check engine light came back on and the engine is back to acting up again. Avoid place at all costs.

I recently took my 2007 Rav4 in for a check up prior to a long trip. The service was efficient and completed in a timely fashion. The young man who conducted the check up was very polite and explained what he was doing and the results. I would not hesitate to refer AAMCO of Egg Harbor Township to friends and/or family.

My wife and I took our Passat for service. They were unable to find any problems. However they stated, the car may have a bad ground wire. They recommended we drive it and if future problems reoccur to bring it in to pinpoint the problem. I would recommend them in the future.

Spent thousands of dollars there to get trans totally rebuilt and it is still messed up!!! Had to return several times for adjustments and then was told the transfer case is bad so i let them fix that (or so i thought) I will never return!!!!

The dealership told me my transmission is dying,need to replace it ASAP. AAMCO spent a hour inspecting it. And it was just a loose heat shield. And they did not charge me. Highly recommended this place.

Greg gave me advice on what to do with my car with bad transmission. told me to sell it rather than to fix it. they are honest and dont just want to work on your ccar for money.
