Ive dealt with Matthey Automotive since moving to Collingswood 6 years ago...they have serviced, and will continue to service, our Civic, Jeep Wrangler, and even our 1969 Ford Torino...in addition to being extremely convenient, they have always been honest about the work that needs to be done and their price estimates...the work never takes longer than estimated, and on a couple occasions, theyve even been able to let me use a loaner car...I know enough about cars to know what I can and, more importantly, CANT do, so when I need something done, I go there...on a couple of occasions, Ive even called them for advice on work I was doing to one of the cars myself, and they never hesitated to answer my questions, even if that meant the werent going to be getting the job...class acts, and a really nice family to boot!

I have been going to Matthey Automotive for more than 10 years. They are professional, will give you an evaluation of any repairs they feel should be done and the costs, up-front, and the final price is always within a few dollars of their estimate. They care about you and your car. They make keeping your car in tip top condition easy to do. They will remind you of oil changes and service needs. Love their staff and appreciate they made it possible to keep my 2000 Elantra in great shape for 15 years and 174,000 miles before I brought my new car. Took my car into the shop 2 days ago, knowing that I needed 2 tires and an oil change. I knew there would also be more needed but unsure as to what and/or if I could afford. The team at Matthey were awesome from start to finish. 1. While they worked on car. They took me to work. 2. After checking out the car the owner, called we went through the list of all repairs needed on car, some needing immediate attention, while others could wait alittle. He then prioritized the items in terms of order of needing to be addressed and the costs. When immediate repairs complete they cane and picked me up. All pricing was fair and overall experience was great! I highly recommend!

I had, and still am having the BEST experience ever with the entire team there at Matthey Automotive. I have my RV in there with them and they are doing a 5 Star job on her! I can say from Jud to Michelle to Brian to everybody there, they are ALL great people, very nice and very very knowledgeable. They are accommodating beyond belief on top of great at what they do! I would recommend ANYONE to use them, and even go out of your way to use them even if you are not close by. You too will rave after speaking with them and using them! Well done guys!!! Well done!

Id never come here again. They misdiagnosed a common problem (was charged $125 for that anyway), then was overcharged by several hundred dollars to complete the first repair. For the second service attempt, they said I needed an alignment and several other repairs that were not needed whatsoever (all of this was verified by a different, trustworthy, reputable mechanic who wound up doing the work). I wanted them to be my go-to shop, but they lost my confidence and my business. I would not recommend them to anyone based on my experiences with them.

Beware, there are two auto repair shops in the same building. When dropping a vehicle ensure that you ask the clerk which company it is. My frost time here I accidentally went into their competitors door.
