Long story short- I paid for some very mild body work on my less-than-year-old car. This included some refinishing as well. I told him i just wanted it done right, and I was paying out of pocket, of course. The owner Ernie bragged about using Glasurit paint system and doing custom work. Ha...he did some custom work alright. After keeping my car for 3 times as long as he promised, I received a product that had more dust and dirt in the finish than the inside of my shopvac. The paint surface felt like 150 grit sandpaper! It had dirt nibs everywhere, some actually looked like small stones. It also had immense stripes and variations in the paint color, almost like stripes on a tiger. I should have known they were suspect from the get go- they had very little action in the shop, in fact it was dead. In this area, body shops are not dead unless they purport themselves to be a good shop but in reality absolutely suck. DING DING DING DING! Anyway, I followed what my family has done for years and went to see Don Noel; he is the main contact at Somers Point Auto Body. Sure enough, he redid all of the nonsense that Ernie did and brought my car back to the way it should be. So, cliff notes- if you want to be robbed blind and given a product that would only pass inspection by said blind person, go see Ernie at South Jersey!

My mom got into and accident and took her 04 chevy monte carlo ss here to get fixed. Was told how they would use gm part and fix the pin stripes on the car, well they might have charged her insurance for gm parts but she definitely was given the absolute cheapest parts possible the headlight they replace is yellowed far worse than the original one and its only 1/8 as old and the pinstripe they fixed must have been painted with invisible ink

Great shop!!! Have been going here for years, with bring company vehicles and also personal vehicle have always been taking care of from great work at a great price dont mind the comment below because it is very miss leading, family own business and i was taking care of as if I was part of the family. Thank you so much to South Jersey auto body my vehicle looks great.
