I am a 59 year old disabled man. I have lived in this neighborhood all my life. The service at this post office gets worse every year. They never answer the phone. It is hard for me to stand and sometimes I have to wait on line for an hour even to buy stamps. They have removed the stamp vending machines. The computerized machine does not take cash. That is crazy. I currently live in a neighborhood rooming house 2 blocks away. We get a lot of mail for former tenants. For a while I was in charge of this mail. I purchased a rubber stamp at my own expense that says " Return To Sender. Not at this address." The mail is sent back by this post office to the house. The mailman told me to stop doing this. When I inquired what to do with it. He told me to throw it out. That is illegal. I could go to jail for this is a federal offense. Got no help from the local postmaster. So I am going to contact the office of the Postmaster General in D.C. Also mail is delivered constantly for other houses either on the block or with the same house number on other streets in the area. When this happens it is better to take it to the correct address then to try to get them to do it. And they wonder why they keep losing market share. Also only 6 customer parking places. They were supposed to increase them 40 years ago and never did it. The substations around the city have limited hours and NO PARKING. Shows the P.O. is not user friendly.

I live in Arkansas. Sent a package to Roselle through ebay to the buyer. Address was correct because I went to my post office and verified they even entered the correct address. I go to track my package yesterday and it said undeliverable by addressed. I called the Roselle post office and the woman kind of had an attitude. Called back again and she finally gave me the number to Elizabeth and I explained I am not from the area and I am trying to help my buyer. I called and called and got no answer. Left two messages. I am going to start calling again in an hour when they open to make sure the package doesnt leave the area today and shipped back to me my last hope. Thanks for screwing me USPS and my Ebay account! After reading these horrible reviews I know what I am in for dealing with them. I have honestly lost all hope now. I did go online to USPS and filed a missing package and it be redirected back to the gentleman that bought it. Just to let you know if it can not be delivered you may never see your package again or it will take forever for it to be sent back. They send it and probably abuse it through the worst mail service they have available. I will look into filing some kind of suit. This post office has lost it and I dont even live there.

All I had read are negative post in here and thats so sad because all I had are good experiences. I order a lot online and I always get my packages on time and sometimes 2 or 3 days before the delivery estimate date. Im the type of person that I track my packages from the beggining to the end and only once I had a problem with them because the status of one of my packages said that the mailman left a notification on the mailbox because it wasnt secured and when I check my mailbox there was nothing inside. So the next day I went to the post office and I explain them that they were supposed to leave a notification according to the website and that on the mailbox was nothing and the lady was kind enough to show me a machine that the post office have there where I put my tracking number and the machine print a receipt and it show the status of the package. I was able to get my package that day thanks to the lady and she also apologize for someone else mistake. So I have nothing bad to said about this post office because at least with me they are always nice and I always get all my packages on time.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING FROM VICTORIAS SECRET IT NEVER SHOWS UP! I EVEN SIGNED UP FOR INFORMED DELIVERY AND IT SHOWS ME EXACTLY WHAT MAIL I WILL BE RECEIVING. I GET ALL THE JUNK MAIL IN THE WORLD BUT NEVER THIS! I BELIEVE THESE GIRLS ARE STEALING OTHER PEOPLES MAIL. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. ALSO, WHENEVER A PACKAGE IS BEING DELIVERED, INSTEAD OF THEM LEAVING THE PINK SLIP LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO, THEY MARK THINGS DELIVERED. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I HAD TO CONTACT THE COMPANY AND FILE A CLAIM REPORT IT STOLEN FOR THEM TO NEVER DELIVER IT AND TAKE IT BACK TO THE POST OFFICE! THEY ARE THE WORST AND I THOUGHT THE NEWARK BRANCH ON SPRINGFIELD AVENUE WAS BAD.... ELIZABETH TAKES THE CAKE WITH THIS ONE. ON TOP OF THAT, THEY ARE DISRESPECTFUL, LIARS AND THEY ALL NEED TO BE DISCIPLINED.

Probably the most useless post office under the Kearny processing plant. I would give it 0 stars but thats not an option. Most of the women working at the tellers are rude. I understand they are overworked and underpaid but maybe they should have gone to college and stop taking it out on customers. They constantly lose mail. They dont scan packages in as soon as they are dropped off. The phones ring and ring and of course no answer. Im beginning to think these things are company policy since it happens at every usps locationm. What a load of bull. Close this crap location down already.

i lived in a lot of places and never had such a crappy mail service/mail man i got packages in the last 5 months and get emails saying that they left notices in my mail saying we wasnt home? but i was on those days? and there never was no notices! when you go to pick it at the post office they always tell me we cant find it it might be re-delivered today or sent it back... the mail man for 07201 needs to be fired im not the type to tell people how to do their jobs but seriously he needs to be replace cause looks like to me and the rest of the block he dont know what the hell hes doing?

Everytime I order something I have to make sure that its not being sent by usps because it is obvious that their workers dont care about where the mail goes and if the person gets their mail. I have had too many unpleasant situations with them with important mail going to other neighbors mailboxes. To top it off they dont even pick up the phone in the main office. What do we as the citizens have to do to get better quality mailing service because this is starting to become an issue that shouldnt even be a problem in the first place if they were to do their jobs properly.

I live in Cape May County, miles south of here, and Im leaving a bad review so that says something. Bought a very hard to find UK collectible at an amazing low price at auction. Will probably NEVER get the opportunity to find another especially at that price. Anyway, package traveled from UK to US flawlessly. It reaches 07208 and somehow disappears into a black hole never to be seen again. All it had to do was travel 2 hrs south. What happened? Uggghhh!!! Package is MIA since March 22nd, 2015. This post office sent my mail to the twilight zone.
