The absolute worse Post Office ever. How do you attempt delivery on a package that I was sitting on the porch waiting for? And calling the office? Another joke. Not only did the phone just ring and ring, the clerks (because the supervisor was on the street scanning fake attempt scans) actually picked up the phone and hung up... three times. I understand the situation two- fold. I am a supervisor for the post office myself so, of course, I had to call another local, jacked- up post office to get the name of the supervisor at the Vailsburg station. And just because you deliver to the less affluent neighborhoods (and I know because I grew up in it) doesnt mean the employees at the post office should reflect the negative attitudes that people have in general about "the hood." Postal employees get real comfortable with the fact that it is rather difficult to get fired. And if you think this gives you a reason to treat your customers (and your colleagues) with such gross indifference, think again.... and get a conscience.

I have complained about this location for about a year now and nothing has been done. One of my purchases NEVER made it to my location and I never got a refund; the second one NEVER arrived and it was MEDICATION. Thats when I knew I had to make a change because now were talking about my health. No one is ever held accountable and no one cares. I now have my mail delivered to either NYC (relative brings it to me) or Maryland (friend brings it to me). My bills are now paperless so I dont have to rely on this post office to get my mail. Im so disgusted that i live just one block away from South Orange because that post office (Vost St) is no joke - guess because their clients are white as opposed as black clients in Newark.

I agree with everyone, this is the worst post office, no good custom service, giving attitude like it your fault that you didnt receive your mail. The supervisor was no help at all, she was very nasty to me !!!! Still havent received all my mail because she was so nasty to me. No one ever ever answers the phone !!!! I dont understand how they get to treat people any kind of way and still keep their job. The lines are always out the door !!! They make it very difficult for people to keep their composure while doing business with them. This has been a problem for the last eleven years I been at this same address and NOTHING is being done about the problem!! They are the worst !!!! If you want respect you have to give respect!!!

For the past 3 years I have filed 39 cases against this post office. They always say they attempted to leave my package but never even came. They never answer the phone when you call. I always have to go get my packages cause they never redeliver never. Even today I called over 20 times no answer. This is the worst post office ever and I am sick and tired of them

My Postal carrier in this area 07106, are the worst. They leave first class mail on the floor and outside of the post box upon delivery, and they delivery wrong mail to your address on a daily bases.. I have complained over and over to the Stuyvesant location and to USP customer service and this problem continues.

I wish there were no stars at all. They are the worst!!!!!!!! They all need to be fired! Driver always loosing package and scans it delivered you go there and then they give you attitude like its your fault. They need to be jobless!! They talk to people anyhow. They are the worst!!!!

My mail is always late, they steal my mail with money in it they need to find out who is stealing in that post office. I complain many times. But nothing is done about it. They need a reorganization or change of personnel. It been a problem for over at least 10 years.

they do not answer their phones at all they talk when dealing with customers as well, they are polite however not very professional at all, and if you need to find out something quickly dont count on it anywhere in Essex county which is sad
