This branch of the YMCA has many different activities for those who seek to get fit, and stay fit. They have a medium-sized weight room with both cardio and weight-training equipment, and Personal Trainers who really know what theyre doing; they can give you advice from how to properly use the machines to even changing your diet to maximize your results. The pool is a comfortable 85 degrees all year round, and they have lanes reserved for lap-swimming starting at 5:30 AM throughout 10pm. In addition to both the weight training and the pool, they also have an average-sized gym where many different activities take place. They have open gym sessions (with sports such as volleyball, basketball, etc) every week. They also have classes such as Pilates, Yoga, Fitness for Women, and Martial Arts classes, all included in the membership price. I would recommend this facility to anyone who seeks to get fit and meet some great people along the process. The staff is very helpful and properly trained, and their rates are unbeatable!

HCYMCA has been a part of our familys upbringing since we moved to Hunterdon County 14 years ago. Dad, Mom and our three children have each participated in various sports and summer programs, and continue today to use the pools, group fitness classes, and exercise rooms. Beyond the outstanding facilities, the staff is what has been the biggest attraction. From the management to those who work at the desk, fitness class instructors to the personal trainers, we have always felt welcome and cared for. One particular example of this is our sons personal trainer, Dan Connors. Over a year ago, with the help of HCYMCA management, we were introduced to Dan. Since then, he has been a driving force helping our son grow stronger and faster with workouts on a weekly based. Our son looks forward to each visit to the Y an we couldnt be happier about that. Ive been a member of the Hunterdon County YMCA for 5 years and I love it! My favorite part is the Group Fitness classes. The brand of classes that they provide are effective and efficient. Current up-tempo music selections get your heart racing while keeping things fun. The instructors are also awesome. They go out of their way to develop a relationship with you, which provides a higher level of accountability. Knowing that Ill be missed if I dont show up keeps me active on days that Im feeling a little lazy. Ive stayed at the Y and Ill continue to stay at the Y because of that extra effort that the instructors show!

My children have attended the Summer Sports Camp at the Flemington YMCA for the past 4 yrs. They look forward to attending it every summer. It has had a very positive influence on them. Not only do they get to participate in fun outdoor activities the camp stresses good sportsmanship and kindness to others. I recommend this camp for anyone looking for a summer camp for their children. It is very professionally run and the kids have a great time.

Hunterdon County Y has always been there for my family. We began our experience 16 years ago when we needed a quality trusted child care center for our children. We also participated in many programs offered by the Y Fitness Center including swim lessons, yoga, ballet and karate. Y Summer Camp was a must for my children. The camps are safe and fun! It is the staff and the community involvement that makes the Y great!

The staff is incredible. Friendly and hospitibal, they are the best part about being a member. The sauna and pool are great. The classes are amazing, and the TRX is so worth it! Other places dont compare, I love my Y!

This is not just a gym. It is a community icon. We have been members of the Y for almost 6 years now. Keeping healthy, having fun, parties...and outdoor recreatuon at the deer path park...all happens all the Y.

Love the olympic sized swimming pool. And great workout rooms. The camp is great for kids all kids respect other kids. Love all the different clubs you can join like gymnastics, Karate, ETC. 5 STARS!
