The management (not the arrogant young lady with the lip ring) is indeed customer friendly. Ive been there three months and during the entire time there almost every ceiling light in the hall has been out. Ive requested repair for safety and vision on all four of my visits and three months later the elevator and hall lights have still gone unrepaired, making a visit after nightfall impossible. They were quick to add new cost (insurance just went up $10 for a total of $20). Further, the term "climate controlled" must be a reference for how the weather outside determines how cold, moist, or hot it is inside. There is an industrial window fan at the end of the hall for goodness sake!!! no glass, just flapping vents. Ill have time to rent a van and clear out the end of this month and Im heading for extra space and another public storage. No cameras, little to no exterior lights, and conditions inside some of the buildings make it too easy to be a victim of mugging, rape or assault. The beginning prices are not the ones you end up with at the end of the day either. The poor maintenance is the deal breaker for me though.

Clean facilities and friendly staff. I always enjoy chatting with the staff in the office when I stop in theyre always pleasant and friendly and the Manager, Ruth, is always extremely helpful and delight to interact with. While prices could always be lower, the main complaint I would have about the facilities would be the poor placement of the access keypads. Unlike other companies I have dealt with in the past where the keypad is convenient to access via the open window of the car, Public Storage forces you to get out of your vehicle to access the keypad which is most unpleasant and inconsiderate during foul weather or if your time is limited. Also, despite all on site employees attempts to get needed repairs to faulty lighting systems, it still took over two years to get the needed repairs. As a customer, this is a safety issue that gives me pause as to recommending the facility to others. (The lights are finally in the process of being repaired at this time.)

So I was living in an apartment that ended up getting infested with mice. While transitioning between apartments, I needed a place IMMEDIATELY, to store the few belongings that I still had left, that had not yet been destroyed by the infestation. After explaining my situation to them, the public Storage facility had a space ready for me THE SAME DAY They even stayed past their closing time to make sure I got everything in, safe and sound. I highly recommend this storage facility, without reservation. Theyre great people that really care about their customers needs. I think the associates name was gaby she was very helpful and felt like she really cared about her customers needs!

I went to public storage in Green Brook in search for a storage unit. Of course, as a first time renter I did not know what size I was looking for. Luckily for me, EdDayshia was so eager to help me and was so patient with showing me all of the possible units that would work for me. She even informed me of the merchandise I would need to protect my belongings. Even though I was not interested in renting today, I will surely be there January 2nd to fill out paperwork. If you are interested in renting, rent at Public Storage in Green Brook and make sure you ask for EdDayshia!

I am VERY pleased with the service thus far. Joe even called me on Monday to remind me that the payment was due by today! With my abrupt move to Sunny Florida, my life for the past 2 months has been UPSIDE DOWN & just CRAZY!!!!!!! Reminders are so VERY needed & appreciated!!!!! The 5*10 unit was clean & so was the Entire Location. Joe asked all the RIGHT questions so my unit was perfectly sized, with a lil room left over!!!!! Therefore, I only needed the 1 unit in NJ, not one in FL. Thanx Joe, your knowledge & help was impeccable & you ARE appreciated!!!!!!!

Nice Change! I live by the PS by my house by Main st and Ive always bought my stuff from this location because its on 22 by my grandkids daycare. Last week I met the manager Ruth with my friend and she introduced herself while I was looking for the big box. She told me about the store in Bridgewater after talking about how I come here even though I live over there and I told her I would continue shopping here because she was so sweet and I liked her positive attitude. Thank you Ruth for giving me your attention even though I dont go there for a storage.

My first ever storage rental was a very pleasant experience. Gaby was a real professional and knowledgeable about the availability and capacity of each room. I explained what I needed to store and she quickly suggested the correct size I needed. She even took the time to show me each room I requested, even though she knew best what I needed. Gaby also kept the mood light as we laughed straight through the signing of all the paperwork. Coupled with a reasonable price, I will definitely use this location again.

Nickel and dime. They will nickel and dime you to death with hidden fees or just go back on their word. If you think youre going to pay a set amount, think again. If you decide to vacate, they will call you and offer a lower fee to stay longer. If you decide to think about it, and then call back to accept, they will say that department will call you back but they never will. Different departments will say different things and not be held accountable. I would not recommend using this place.

Joe was outstanding in his professionalism,displaying extreme patience and courtesy both at the facility and on the phone. I experienced some personal security issues (at home) regarding missing keys, etc. Joe quickly re-set my access # and double-locked my storage unit and checked his log to ensure there was no unauthorized entry. Small wonder he is being promoted..I am sad to see him move to another facility but wish him all the best. He is a treasure.

Went to Public storage earlier today to get prices on storage. Met Edwin who was very kind enough to show me around the property and show me a few different size units that he thought would work best for me. I could tell hes a great salesman because he tried to get me to rent today even though I dont need the unit another month. He understood my situation and was very professional about it. Once im ready I will 100% go back to public storage

My aunt is elderly and Im always there helping to get things in her unit in the D building. Its a little hard for her to get up the hill but its really good to have someone there now who shows they care. The manager Ruth was really kind and helpful and the property looks really clean now, Ive never seen this building so clean!! Before it was always dirty and smelled of cigarettes. Keep it up Ruth, my aunt and I appreciate what youre doing.

I came in to see a unit and Renea was very helpful and customer friendly. She was very caring when I mentioned I had fragile items. She walked me through the process on how to store my belongings safely. She recommended the best size unit that would suffice my needs. Renea is a highly recommended associate.
