Updated 12/12/14. Brian, the DM of this facility reached out to me about my issues, and was able to explain the situation, and what went wrong, and it was a simple mistake that has been rectified, and now the insurance company has all the information they need to properly categorize my claim as a water damage claim. I would like to personally thank Brian, for his help in getting this situation solved. He has excellent customer service skills, and I would recommend the use of this facility based on his actions. 12/09/14 This is based off the poor customer service given by Jason and the property as a whole for negligence, speaking with him is like talking to a brick wall. The incompetency of him to comprehend the simplest requests is unfathomable. Please if you rent here, please do not rent from unit 461, there is a leak in the unit, and you let the property know and they will just tell you to contact the insurance company, and will not do anything to fix the unit.Showed Jason where the leak was coming from, and when the insurance company contacted the property, no once could say that there is a leak. If by chance you are the unfortunate one to get unit 461, and have water damage like I did, please take a picture of where the leak is coming from, because the insurance company will not believe your witness, and will not process a water damage claim without a picture and the property will not help in confirming that they have a leak in that specific unit.

First of all, great job by PS to have consistent processes at all locations. I made reservation at 2 different locales, and I received a call within minutes from both to confirm and provide additional info - this is on top of the email confirmations received. Alex managed the sign up and orientation process for me. Let me just start by saying I am the fastidious sort and very much into the details. Alex outdid herself with the meticulous process she followed AND COMPLETED despite my many interruptions along the way. She was very knowledgable and, just as importantly, was very friendly! I usually get one OR the other at BEST. Often, I get someone who is neither. Overall, my experience was "fun"... as fun as it can be at a storage facility! LOL THANK YOU, ALEX!! :-)

I must say that my experience visiting the Monmouth Junction site was very pleasant. I was greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome by the property manager Syed Z. Not really knowing the size of the unit I wanted to rent, he began to walk me through what the units would hold. He showed me the unit that I felt I needed and recommended the next larger 10 x 20 for my needs. I have started moving items in and so happy I listened to him. It is easy access in & out, even with a trailer. Today I met with another manager, Asia who also was pleasant and as professional as Syed. She helped me out with all my request with a wonderful professional attitude. The customer service and their professional knowledge was refreshing. Thank You!

We first reserved a unit online and it was very simple, fast and easy to do. They had the best prices out of all the storage facilities. Hazel called me the next morning and was very helpful right off the bat. We werent moving our things in til the next day but asked if we could come and see the unit. She was very friendly and helpful. She made the paperwork easy and was wonderful with our two kids. Everything was explained, there were no hidden fees, no tricks and no games. So far, everything about this facility is making me very happy that we choose them. Other places I looked at were over $100 more a month then what we are paying here. I liked that they didnt push other products on us. All in all, its a great place and Hazel is wonderful! :)

So much hidden cost $22 lock is mandatory. According to Jason "technically you can bring your own lock, but thats how it is" . I had a lock with me, not allowed to use. Another $20+ for onetime admin fee. In addition, you haves to buy insurance ranging between 11-20 per month. Moreover, for any online promotion make an appointment online. If you show them the online offer, they dont price match on spot. You need to book it online and it takes "30 minutes atleast " for them to know if someone booked online.

Recently moved my stuff into this facility . Syed is the onsite person who was helpful and was also really caring for the customer as needed.Followed up on my move in dates and also helped in clearing the snow for me on the day I moved in. Yesterday I was in the property to drop some more stuff but the snow pile is right in front of every shutter. Syed once again volunteered in cleaning up the snow in front of my unit as well as couple more units. Truly reliable person.Appreciate your help Syed.

I called today inquiring about packing supplies and spoke with Colleen who gave me a run down of everything they had. I had used plastic bins in the past and found they dont work that well and Ive used boxes from u haul as well that werent so great. She told me there is a difference between moving boxes and storage boxes and that I could use plastic wrap for a dresser I had. Knowledge was great! I will be down the weekend to buy supplies.

So there was an issue, which was my fault. I needed a larger unit. Therefore, the next day I informed Jason, the property manager of my problem and not only was it a seemless transition to a bigger unit, but I was given a better rate. Jason was patient, friendly, funny and most importantly professional. I GIVE PUBLIC STORAGE 7STARS !!!( but Im only allowed 5stars) Thanks Jason! !

Jason was a lot of help! He explained my rate plans for different bins and didnt sugarcoat the pricing. He assured me that getting boxes, seat covers, and mattress covers should be top on my list so that my items dont become damaged. I would recommend relatives and friends to this storage site! Let me say that my over all experience has been great one. Syed and Jason two of the property managers were really professional and knowledgeable. Helped me with all my storage needs. Easy move in process. Explained every thing througly. Great experience would definetly recommend them.
