A particularly poorly-managed site of an organization that already has godawful customer service. A veritable helping of my lousy experiences with them in the last 6 months is as follows: -I ordered a pair of shoes off Amazon. The pair of shoes, though marked as "delivered" on Amazon, never showed up. I asked all my neighbors and no one reported receiving the package by accident. This package wasnt supposed to be delivered unless someone signed for it. I never signed for it. The supervisor at the post office was not able to offer any explanation. -A parcel, though supposedly delivered at the "garage door" as marked online, was placed by the carrier into a flower pot in the front yard. -When I visited to help a friend ship a package, we entered to find 28 people in line with only one worker behind the counter. This was around 9 on a saturday. We legitimately waited an hour in line. -I ordered a VCR from Amazon for a neighbor. It was marked as "delivered" online but never arrived. I asked all my neighbors if they had seen such a package and all said no. I talked to one of the supervisors at the post office who said he suspected that the package was misdelivered to a different address by the carrier. He said hed call me back with information as soon as he spoke to the carrier. I was never called back. I ask the carrier myself, who never recalled seeing such a package. I go back to the post office a few days later to ask for an update about the situation and the supervisor working that day (someone different) informed me that the package was indeed misdelivered to another address, though said 2 different addresses before correcting himself and insisting that a third address was really the one where it was delivered. He told me he could offer me a form certifying that the package was misdelivered but I would need to return the next day to get it. I come back the next day and a different supervisor (the one from the first time I inquired about the missing package) was there. He abruptly told me there was nothing they could do and that USPS absolved itself of any responsibility as soon as the carrier marked the package as delivered. So fed up. I am avoiding using USPS whenever possible from now on.

If i could give less then one star, i would. This post office is ATROCIOUS. I had a package shipped to me on 7-23-16. It is now 8-15-16 and after 7 phone calls and 2 trips, i STILL have no resolution to what happened to my package. First i was told a different post office had it, then i was told it was misplaced, then i was told it may still be on a truck followed by maybe it was sent back to the shipper. I was told 6 times i would be called back and NEVER ONCE got that call. I was also treated with nothing but disrespect, as if i was bothering them for losing my package. Today, during my final phone call when i expressed my disgust in the situation, i got an "ok" When I expressed how alarming it was that a package containing photos of my child is now lost somewhere with my address ALL over it, i got (with an attitude) "well what do you think will happen to it, why would someone want that". Each time i called, i had to explain TO THE SAME PEOPLE I SPOKE TO DAYS PRIOR, the situation ALL over again and give my address and tracking number ( so we you can tell, they were working real hard to find it). I went to my local post office and the worker there actual told me how embarrassed she was to be associated with these people as postal workers and stated she hears this all the time about this place. Thankfully, i have the names and times of EVERY phone call and will be filing complaints with the higher upper P.O that the wonderful workers at a different location gave me. My advice: avoid this hell hole at every cost. Its worth the drive to a different town.

The most unprofessional establishment I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Countless lost packages, most of which were delivered several weeks later with no notice due to not being scanned in correctly. Whenever I call to inquire about my delayed packages (which often go days before the tracking site says the package is delayed), customer service treats me with the utmost disrespect. I have even been told to call back in a half hour because the woman who answered the phone was "on too many calls." When I asked if anyone else was there to assist, she said she was the only one. I called back 30 minutes later, no answer. I called back another 30 minutes later, and a different woman answered and helped me promptly. She said she was there the whole time, so I was lied to by the first representative. This is a pathetic excuse for a Federal organization, and I have filed complaints with the Postmaster Generals office during several escalated service requests. DO NOT GO HERE.

For months I have been receiving mail of my neighbors, two houses down, next door neighbors....Ive called and spoke to TWO different post masters in this time. ITS STILL HAPPENING! So the real question is how many pieces of mail am I missing. I have to hand deliver my neighbors mail to them, Im doing the posts office job at this point. Well today is the final straw, bought a small item, the tracking says they put in my mailbox yesterday....NOTHING IS THERE! Its also bad on the mail going out, I had to send documents to the state of NJ. .. needless to say it never arrived. Also sent subscription service items back, they never got the items. What a mess!

Very poor service. I received a notice to pick up registered mail. At the Hillsborough post office, I wait about 15 minutes for someone to help me. Then I signed their form to pick up my letter. The postal worker went in the back to retrieve my letter and was gone for 1/2 hour before telling me that she couldnt find it. She told me she would look for it and I should return the next day. I came back the next day, and they said their records show I already picked it up because I signed for it. I explained that I never received the letter. They insisted I already received it. In the end, I never got my letter!

Have encountered many issues with this office. Asked to hold mail at the office on four occasions and they ended up at my door each time. Also "attempted" to deliver a package that was supposed to be a Christmas gift, and didnt leave any notice behind. Meanwhile, I was home and there was no attempt. Ive been trying for a week to recieve the package, and its still kosher to be found. The employees are extremely careless and rude most of the time whenever Ive encountered an issue. Considering going through the neighboring town from now on.

I have been waiting for Hillsborough Post Office delivered packages to my house. I tracked it and it said It was delivered to the post office by Fedex, or UPS and it is out for delivery and finally delivered. WRONG! This is the third time that this has happened. They always insisted that the packages were delivered, but change their tune when you prove them wrong. When a package is actually delivered, the local carrier delivers it to me at the door, but than leaves and puts the rest of my mail in the mail box at the street.
