I arrived at 5:30pm and was informed that although they closed at 6pm they didnt rent after 5pm. Before I drove from Orange to hillside my husband called and we were NEVER told this. The girl never introduced herself she stayed behind the desk and played in her braids. The next morning (10-7-16) I was greeted by Renea. She informed me that the space I had a reservation for was unavailable because the hasp was broken. I was really upset because no one explained this on the many phone calls they made or the day before when I came to rent. Renea showed me a size up which was not on the dollar promotion but I didnt push the issue. If it was not for Renea I would have given one star. She was patient and tried to make a horrible situation better. This company should try secret shopping to make sure every customer is given great treatment from every employee.

My experience at Public storage in Hillside which was my first time and I immediately notice that the workers was very very nice and Im very hard to please when it come from. Customer service these people are hard workers they smiled when they asked me how can I help with they gave me direct eye contact it was 3 workers wrote down they names on a piece of paper and 1 of the worker she was a little nervous she didnt know what I was doing copying they names down theses are the names Karina , Nordia Marlon and the reason for my visit to get my motorcycle Storage here in hillside NJ they gave me the best prices and Im really a cheap person and I was expecting to pay more but paying so much less the place is very clean and professional I recommend everyone for there Storage needs

Every time I visited for the past couple of years. The staff was professional and courteous. On 4/29/17 Staff member Kareem was very knowledgeable about the units and polite and respectful. On the next day 4/30/17 Staff member Joe when above and beyond his job.By helping others as well including me.When my stuff fell over. Joe came over to help and assist me. By picking up what fell over.Also help me with my bag that was left on the step.You guys do a excellent job as a team.I would like to recommend if you are in need of storage space.Visit Hillside, NJ public storage.The units are kept clean and clear....

I came to Public Storage in Hillside today with concerns about my things to put in storage but once I came and spoke with Stephanie at tre front desk and she showed me the premises and made feel comfortable with everything. Stephanie even gave me the option to see if I would be comfortable anywhere else . What she didnt know was Ive been looking but once she gave the option to look else where I was already all in. Then she top my day off with the monthly price and told me I would receive the Dollar special. Thanks Public Storage for having ppl like Stephanie on your team.

Ive had Public Storage units all across the US as I have moved around and, or course, I was glad to find this location in Hillside, NJ. The whole team here has been fantastic to work with and they are very accommodating. Always happy to answer a question...and always with a smile. Ive had the most experience in the office with Stephanie and Ryan M. and they really have helped make my time with Public Storage a great experience. The property is clean and well lit. I have a unit that is indoors, and I appreciate that the area is easily accessible.

I recently acquired a larger storage unit at this Hillside location. Although weary about how the weather would affect my unit, I can say I am completely pleased. The units are waterproof in addition to pest controlled. Stephanie, Property manager at this location was extremely patient, knowledgeable and helpful to say the least when I needed this type of customer service the most. I would recommend anyone to make use of this Hillside location, conveniently located right off of the GS Parkway.

I came late but when I came the next morning cris helped me and was very helpful. I love how educated he was on everything. I also love how roomy the storage was. This location have a lock and code to enter the secure gate. They also informed me that no one else has a key to my storage so that made me feel great about my items. The insurance plan they have is very inexpensive and budget friendly. I will truly recommend this storage to friends and family.

Gaby and Edwin where spectacular during a very stressful move as nothing was going right after dispute with moving company. Despite me be very angry Gabby and Edwin where very patient listening and understanding my frustration helping relaxing me. Gaby even swapped my trailer out giving me a closer trailer after already completing the first one. Gaby and Edwin are great as they truly went above and beyond. Please thank them for me.

Went in today to buy boxes to move. The computers were down, so everything had to be done manually. I must say that three gentlemen there rose to the challenge. They were very helpful and patient. They even helped carry the boxes to my car. Their names were, Adam (DM) Marlon & Spencer. Thank you for your help. Would recommend going there if you need storage.

Being in business myself I look highly on how a company present itself through there employees and the reverse also. Ryan M and Stephanie were outstanding I will always keep coming back too the public storage in Hillside Nj if those two are there. They know how to treat a customer your manager Ryan could sell a Honda at a BMW dealership no problem. Stephanie went into detail about everything fully insured me of all my questions!!!!!! Just wow really all I can say

Came in to make a payment and as always, Renea has greeted me with a smile. She went over my account thoroughly. When I stated, "I was paying too much" she gave me options to save money. Just closed out contract. No dumpsters, charged me $100 to dispose of stuff damaged by a leak in the unit. Cant really use a high chair covered in mold anymore. Otherwise not a terrible place. Disabled my gate code while inside when I terminated, but that was a minor annoyance. Wouldnt recommend them, but not the worst storage unit Ive seen.

My experience today with Renea was nothing less the awesome. She was very knowledgeable & nice from the time I came through the door & left. For anyone thats looking to rent I will definitely recommend Hillside property & Renea customer service. Also Fransisco & Adrien was very polite & willing to help. My aunt Nikita moved into the Hillside Public Storage. The staff there made the move very easy for her. The staff I saw was Renea, Edwing, and Kareem. They did their very best to make sure she understand the ins and outs of her unit, contract, etc.. My aunt says that she would recommend this Storage Location to anyone!! Keep up the good work!
