I have rented two storage units at this Edison Public Storage site with Debs very helpful assistance. First, the location was selected for the access to all major highways in the area (NJ Turnpike, I-287, Garden State Parkway) in addition to the proximity for me to the NJ train station in Edison (train line to Penn Station and access to Newark Airport). This will be helpful for my particular situation of storing an automobile for frequent visits to the area as an out of state resident. Second;y, the units are sizable, storing a full size SUV yet leaving room for quite a large amount of personal items for use whilst in the state conducting business. The location also has numerous amenities, eateries, etc very close. Finally, In addition to a fair rate provided, my decision to select this location was solidified with the professionalism, followup and attention to detail that Deb provided while comparing different locations and companies. If the hours could be extended to longer hours of access up to 24 hours, the site would be perfect, as this is my only issue with the location. Based on my experience to date, I would highly recommend this site to others for storing their vehicles and other personal items. GHMosely

If your considering renting a unit from this place, i would definitely suggest that you carefully inspect the unit!!!! 4 days ago i went to get my stuff out of storage and all my kids clothes were ruined and all 6 of my dining room chairs were ruined, water loggedand now we sit in the living room to eat dinner cause the water ate through all the leather not throwing it out yet until Public Storage comes and looks at it I put in a claim only thing its going to take four or five months to finish it all shame on you Public Storage I would not suggest this public storage to anybody I know

Excellent facilities, I feel very safe and secure there. I got in their and out in less than an hour. Had a storage unit reserved for a very fair discounted price, and was shown how to use the facilities. The only thing that was a bother is my gate access only lasts from 6 AM - 9 PM. So you cannot enter the facility (or leave if inside!) after 9 pm. I suppose this is for security purposes but it still set me back from leaving a few hours. Otherwise, great place. The person at the front desk was also very nice, and helpful.

I recently rented out two larger units from Public Storage and Im very happy with all the space I have - I was able to fit the contents of an entire house into one! The manager, Debbie, took care of my rental and was very nice and accommodating. We set up the rental and she showed me how to access everything, which made it a breeze when it came time to have the movers load up the unit. Overall, great experience. I highly recommend Public Storage for the deals they offer and the knowledge and competence of the staff.

Ive tried Uhaul & Cube Smart so I was a bit skeptical when Public Storage was recommended to me. However, I came in to the Edison location and Chaos knowledgable service put my mind at ease! He was extremely professional & mild mannered. Also, I couldnt help but notice how clean the entire property was! He answered all of my questions & understood my skepticism dealing with storage elsewhere. He very assuring and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional service! I was looking into storage facilities for a month and it was a big headache for me. My experience with pubic storage in Edison New Jersey was awesome. Jessica the kind hearted lady behind the desk of the office made it very easy for me with this nightmare . She educated me on which storage space that will work best for my products and how to utilize my space so I can save on a monthly basis. A couple weeks ago I rented out a unit with the Public Storage on Old Post Rd in Edison. I switched from PODS where I had three of their largest units to just one in Public Storage, which has me paying about a third of what I was before. I couldnt be happier with the deal I got and found the woman who helped me, Deb, to be courteous and helpful. I got everything moved in without an issue and Im thrilled about the deal I got for the first month.

I moved in last month because I had to store a lot of stuff from my moms house. Ill admit that I have lost my code information three times already but Debbie and the manager who lives there (sorry I dont know her name) have helped me every time I couldnt get in or out of the gate. I wanted to make sure everyone knows how helpful they are. The location is very convenient, but Id recommend them because of the girls there. Thank you!

*** Unit does not have light (bring your own flashlight). *** They increase the price every year. *** Smaller units are on the second floor, if you bring large items, you will have to keep walking around the entire place to find a cart - there is only one and it is rarely near the elevator.
