I have been to Epic twice and will probably go back again. The staff is professional and courteous and the services while a tad pricey are well worth the money. I hope they can continue offering their awesome service. The first time I visited Epic was when my Prius hit a pothole and developed a flat. I took the car to Costco because thats where I would go for tires in the past. Costco, unfortunately did not carry the tire my car needed. I went back to the dealership who told me that they fixed the flat but my rim was damaged and I needed a new rim and it would cost me some $$$. I took some time to google auto shops near me and found Epic. I talked to the lady on the phone and she asked me to bring my rim in. When I got there the mechanic looked at my rim and told me it could be fixed and they got it fixed at a shop that they work with. The second time my tire blew out on the highway. My tires were due for a replacement anyway so I ordered my tires online and had them shipped to Epic. Alex from Epic called me when my tires arrived and set up an appointment the next day. While I was there I also got my oil changed. It was little bit more expensive to get the oil change done here but they did let me know the price up front and talked about their inspection. It may be arguable that the inspection is useful all the time but that being said they did not oversell me on anything. Alex did let me know that my rims were a little bent (thanks to NJ/Hudson county roads) but also let me know that they did not need changing if I felt comfortable on the road driving. I can for certain say that some other places I have been to would totally oversell me on this and ask me to change the rims right away. Lastly, it is a block from the light rail station so if you live near the light rail, you can drop your car off and pick it up later in the day which was super convenient for me.

I was on a road trip to upstate, NY when I ran into alternator problems in NJ. I was new to the area and didnt know where to take my Nissan Altima 05 for repair. I googled auto repair shops in NJ including Nissan, but the prices were crazy. It costs $688+ to replace alternator for a 4 cyl. I found Epic and read the reviews since it was hard to trust just any auto repair I had little knowledge of. One review explained my exact problem and mentioned great satisfaction in service received. So, I called Epic Auto and was told they were booked for the day, but I insisted that I needed to get the car fixed and the shop owner said he will try and fit me in for that same day, but the part had to be ordered and hopefully, a spot became available. To make it short, the shop keeper personally took the challenge up himself and ran a diagnostic the morning and said the alternator was pushing less voltage and would go bad eventually, so I went ahead and had it replaced. I got a rental which Epic helped arrange. I did what I had to do for the day, and returned when they said the job would be completed (4/5pm). I am pleased to say that I was completely satisfied with the great job done on my car. After the alternator replacement, I drove another 14hrs return trip to MD and everything went smooth. It cost me far less than the other places I quoted about $370 with tax. If I leave MD and run into car trouble, hopefully not though, But will be going back to Epic auto NJ. :) great service and price. Reviews are worth reading before finding a good place. Epic way to go! Thanks!

I used to live 3 blocks from this shop and now that I have moved away, I cant find a shop that has anything close to the service they provide. Im very surprised by the couple of negative reviews. Personally, I really appreciated the checks they did and recommendations that they both told me about and put in writing on the receipt. My take on this is if you are the type of person that has pride in their car and you want everything in tip-top mechanical shape then you should take their recommendations. They never made any recommendations for things that were in perfect working order. For myself, I simply told them its an older car and I personally dont care if it is in perfect condition and that #1 safety & #2 keeping the bills low were my main priorities. Even before I told them this, there was never any pressure to have any work done. I had Epic do my regular oil changes, and they always kept me informed about what repairs may be coming up. There were even times when they told me certain repairs were not necessary when other shops said they were. I trust these guys. Give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Well I guess first off I own a Audi A3, a car that many individuals dont even dear to touch. But at EpicAutoCare thats no problem. I didnt have something crazy done to may car I only had a Magnaflow Exhaust system put in, just cause I didnt know how they operated or whether they were going to do a great job. Now I know that theyre professional and have great workmanship. I even ran into a problem where i need a part for my car and they ordered it and install everything the someday. Their mechanic crew are really cool dudes. Theyre a bunch or car guys and get you. I even had one guy ask me if the part came in yet. Showing me how ambitious they were to do my install, which i really liked.Im a type of guy that does heavy amount of car mods to his car and now i know where to go to get all my work done at. OH Yea btw there prices are Great its just the right price. Not expensive and not too cheap that youre questioning things.

The first thing you notice about Epic is that the shop looks pristine and new. Staff was friendly enough but service was a bit slow as I was there around lunch time (took 3 1/2 hours to get tires and alignment). I brought my car in to have winter tires placed on my wheels. I asked them to put my summer tires in the trunk and was out the door. The bad news: It has been a few months and Im now looking to place my summer tires back on the car. First thing I noticed was one of the tires is different from the other 3. They put the wrong tire in my trunk. Ive called them to try to come to a resolution but have yet to receive a response. Ill keep you posted on how they handle this. EDIT: The owner called and was very reasonable. These things happen and although he could of brushed me off he didnt. I would do business with them again.

Have a lowered car with an all custom suspension setup. They knew exactly what parts were needed and where to purchase them. They did an incredible job installing the parts giving me a detailed run down of each step. We were able to watch as they worked on the car. They handled it properly and take care of the vehicle. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Ive never had one shop cover all the details with me before which definitely impressed me. Best of all, their pricing was great! Ive paid much more and receive much less. This shop is a little distance from me, but definitely worth the travel. Amazing experience and this shop will be my only shop as long as I live in the area!
