Had a package sent to me on Sept. 22 from Raritan , NJ.and got lost somewhere and ended up at Kearny NJ . They posted they received it on Sept. 25th and nothing after that says its in transit to destination but no tracking info from the arrival on Sept. 25th . This postal service has been worse than bad . Tracking was exceptionally poor after it left the original post office on which it was on the wrong truck . The 25th of Sept. was one day after it was suppose to arrive here in Missouri. Its Been almost two days now since it arrived in Kearny., NJ .No updates on tracking and no idea when it will arrive at its original destination . I would not recommend USPS to anyone that wants there stuff to arrive on time and they dont keep you informed with proper tracking info . They just tell you its in transit which it will be till you see it that doesnt tell you where it is at or any helpful information. Very poor service .... This package finally showed up in my town this morning Sept.28th but never got the tracking till it was in Kansas city postal center , I live in a suburb of Kansas City .

WHY IS GODS NAME IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN!!! Who is in charge here? And who is in charge of that guy? Please find out and FIRE THEM!!!! Every single package that i get goes through here, and every single one is delayed. Everything! First class, priority, overnight, anything! Ive had packages sit here for days, weeks, and months. Yes i said months. I had a package sit here for 64 days once!!! Your employees here must be the laziest people on the face of the earth. How does a package just disappear? It was scanned into your building, and now its gone? That means someone stole it you idiots! Its because of places like this that the USPS is failing and within 10 years will no longer be around. You keep raising your prices and your shipping services SUCK! I MEAN TOTALLY SUPER MEGA SUCK!!!! God forbid someone around there do some actual work and actually straighten out the place! Those lazy employees are so lucky im not in charge over there. I could probably run the place faster working by myself.

I ship to people around the world using USPS. In past 2 years, I have sent two First Class Packages with Tracking to this Post Office. Both were LOST and no one cares. Latest was to be delivered 4/4/15, with tracking confirming that my package that my package arrived at this station 4/3/15. Yet no one cares, no one returns my calls or my customers calls or will LOOK for the packages they lost. I have no alternative but to block this entire zip code from areas that I can sell to. I am out the cost of the merchandise, and customer is frustrated. What a great group of people at this Post Office. I think in this case, POST means FORMER - I think post offices like this do a lot to add to the likelihood that the USPS will be going out of business in my lifetime - they dont care to develop systems to manage their work. And they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

First time dealing with this PO - Express Package from California with guaranteed delivery to somebody going overseas. Tracking showed it arrived 8:45am but they never delivered by 7pm when the person was leaving for the airport. Tracking checks, text messages and calls were of no use. Line always busy! This is a most Useless and hopeless Post office. Are people there having a Federal Job? Looks like these are the offices that make the Post Office unable to compete and losing so much taxpayer money! This is the worst experience I have had with the post office! So nobody picks up the phone anymore in our public offices? Come oooon!! It must be closed down! Period! People must be fired since the taxpayer is paying them! Or find totally new Management and hire new staff and train them!

OMG I just cant believe how worse this location is. I send a very important time sensitive official documents through priority mail from CA to Newark,NJ and and it reached NJ just in one day. glad that it made it across the country in one day, but my package has been stuck at Kearny, NJ location for freaking 2 weeks!!!! god knows how long more! all the tracking information just stops at this location. Everyday I get the same notification that it has "departed the destination facility" but obviously it hasnt because it cant be departing every damn day! Customer service is absolutely no help! phone number doesnt work for this location. By looking at all these past reviews I cant believe they havent done anything about this place. Avoiding USPS at all cost now.

frequently RUINS my shipping. Tracking stops here. This is the hub and it frequently screws things up. They send packages TO THE WRONG local post office. Mail coming in from different locations gets sorted here and then sent to your local post office.... IF THEY DECIDED TO GET TO IT OR NOT SEND IT TO THE WRONG CITY. All kinds of retardation happens here. Terrible... Ive had so many problems with USPS because of THIS sorting location. Ive had mail just sit there... for DAYS. Then moves... but to the wrong location and has to be what they call "Forwarded" back there then to the right location... Unacceptable service and I dread it every time I see it pop up in my tracking information. USPS... get it together... bring a bulldozer and knock this place down.

The service is absolutely horrible. The phone has been ringing for 10 minutes with no answer and probably would go more if i dont hang up. I have been waiting on a package that was supposed to arrive Monday. I signed up for text alerts, tried tracking on the website, and tried calling to no avail (to no ones surprise). I have been to other post offices and hubs and it is not even CLOSE to as bad as this particular site. This place needs a complete revamp of staff. The fact that the staff there does not care about its clientele or its quality of service is more than obvious. How this place is still running the same is beyond me. This is not the first time I have trouble with the Kearny post office. Get it together or shut it down!

Horrible service, their postal workers are lazy ... I always end up picking up my packages because they never ring the doorbell and just put the slip to pick up... I call to complain and told them to redeliver so I saw the mail person today and they didnt ring the bell they were going to leave slips again and i asked why you didnt ring the bells she said she thought they didnt work and i explained to her they do she just has to give it time cause they connect to our phones... then i asked about my redelivery and she said she has no idea.... now im on hold for 30 minutes and they hung up on me ... the USPS sucks and kearny doesnt helo

Spent over 30 minutes calling from one number to another as directed by usps, no answer, just recorded messages, package sitting 12 days with no tracking movements, waiting in New Rochelle n.y since 8-4-15 As i see why USPS tries so hard to take on more service then they know they can not handle. Future looks bad as tax payers take another costly failure,private sector would be much better. As we are no longer able to provide good old American Service, This is why other countries lack respect for the U.S. We screw everything we do, But we hide our mistake by paying cash. I feel shame, But i still love my U.S. and have to endure,
