This will be the 3rd time Ive tried to get my mail carrier to leave a package after signing the form. This Thursday I used a TAC to affix the signed form and it was ignored by my mail carrier. I TAC it directly above my mail slot which makes it hard to miss. I hope today with the additional sheet of paper they will do their job. My daughter who attends SHU doesnt have class today so there is no excuse why the package can not be left. UPDATE @ 7:22pm: I got home and was told by my daughter who actually confronted the mail carrier and he said and I quote, "OH your dad actually wanted his package today, my bad he can call the office to set up a pickup". I called the office earlier to complain and a answering service picks up and states no one has claimed the mailbox. Paterson family - this is why I never use USPS and cringe whenever I order something whereby the seller doesnt allow me to upgrade the shipping. The USPS is a quasi government agency that we no longer need. Signed, Still without my Package!

This is the worst Post Office I have ever delt with, the employees especially one name Oza the manager is very rude and unwilling to help in any way. I had a P.O. Box there for more than 5 yrs never had a problem until now. First the lobby would stay opened until 6pm then they change it without notice to the customers to 5pm and then when I made my yearly payment for some reason (computer glitch I guess) my payment did not go through. And instead of them calling to notify me they sent all my mail back and closed my box. Now I have no Idea where any of my mail is at. Thanks to another Paterson Government Agency to have employees who are only there for a paycheck and not actually wanting to do the work. Its no wonder why Paterson has become one of the worst cities in the United States, but then again what example is Jeff Jones giving when he himself is just collecting a paycheck for not doing anything but sit on his behind

I wish I could give negative stars to this place. The people working at this place need to take some serious customer service courses. They are rude and unprofessional. Good luck if you are expecting an important package. First the carrier NEVER go to your house when they tell you he will... I spent 5 days going every day to pick up an important package and every time I went I received the same reply: "Our carrier should be there tomorrow at 5pm".....but the carrier never came. Day 5 (after an almost an hour line) they finally were able to give me my package... and it was a deliver in 2 days postal service. Lets not forget that the parking meters outside are only 30 minutes, so since youre going to be in line longer than that, you need to check the time and run outside to put another quarter in...Overall, worst postal office ever.

We are a business in downtown Paterson. We dialed all four customer service phone numbers to no avail since NO ONE answers the phone at the 194 Ward St Paterson, Postoffice. When you go there they can careless to help you, YOU the customer are looked at as an inconvenienced the Postofficer agents. Poor service, we should all send a loud message to this Postoffice by signing up with The UPS Store where they trip over their feet to assist you. Virtual mailbox is even more convenient then waiting for mail delivery. We should force them out of business if they cant improve the customer service skills or hold their staff accountable for their actions. Unacceptable! Lets send them a loud message..

Id give the Main P.O. in Paterson a minus if I could. Clerks have a tendency to rudeness. Online Tracking report was my package was delivered but it wasnt in my mailbox. They dont answer the phone, so I drove down. The Carrier Supervisor told me yes, the package was delivered, but the carrier must have put it in the wrong mailbox. And, she could have put it in a mailbox in another building, not just yours. Sorry. That was it!! The shipper had forgotten to put insurance on the box (I had paid for it) so I was just out my $35.00 of supplies. Theyve lost other stuff of mine as well and I have been treated very poorly when I went in. Forget about trying to call - problem? You have to go in.

If I could only give them 0 stars... Why is it that no one answers the phone?! As of today, Ive had three packages that have been tagged the wrong things on the tracking option online. The first package was not delivered because of "animal obstruction". Mind you, there are no animals in my whole street. I had to go to the postal office only to find that my package was thrown in a corner and never delivered. Now, Im expecting two packages; one was never delivered and it has no delivery updates, and the other shows as "Delivered" and its not here (I only received my letters). Whats the point of having a phone line when you wont pick it up?!?! I dont understand how they run this place.

I have now opened three cases against this post office. No one answers the phone, I had no problems with my old carrier but the new carrier has not delivered three packages in the space of one month. Granted the address on one was not legible, however there is no explanation for the other 2 packages which came from two different retailers. Did I mention no one picks up the phone. I was told I would be contacted, still waiting. The USPS customer survice reps are helpful unfortunately it hasnt trickled down to the local Ward Street post office. Did I mention no one answers the phone???

They claim they delivered package but they never did @ least not to me...then I call office they said they have several replacement delivery guys that could misplace it and that they will call me when they find the lost package. They never call, two person failed to return my call as they promised. Finally I show up in the office and they said that there is nothing they can do since the signature upon delivery was not required. My neighbor said it happens all the time as they may have just dump the package around the door and someone else could take it.

Hate this post office. when i call no one answer the phone, i dont know why they have a number listed if they are not going to pick up. Also when they open at 8:30am, at the pick up window is no one to assist you it takes to long for someone to show up, and the ladies on the next window you think they are going to help you when they dont have no one there, but instead of that they rater to talk, laugh and no help anyone. When I ask them can you help me with my package they give this face, like they wanna say dont bother me.HORRIBLE POST OFFICE
