I went to home depot and the lady said free evaluation. so said sure. the guy came to my house said looks good sign here and we can have the people come out to check out your house. he also said at any time you can cancel. well they did the evaluation and turns out i would be paying more then i already am for my electricity. the truth is you pay them to put panels on your roof then you buy the electricity back from them and their rate goes up at almost 3% per year. the long of the short is they couldnt put enough panels on my roof to make it viable they said they could put them on my garage that is almost totally shaded by trees on my neighbors property the sales man took all the paperwork so i couldnt go over the fine print you only have 10 days to cancel. i called and canceled within the 10 days. get a bill in the mail for $2000.00 for sight evaluation and was told i didnt cancel in the prescribed time. now its in the lawyers hands!!! be ware be very aware !!! and i did cancel and never told them to do any work of file for any permits. and to boot the inverter would have hung over to my neighbors property so i didnt qualify from the start but they still went ahead and never told me instead billed me for something i dont even qualify for. UPDATE!! After several calls to the nice receptionists, I finally received a new bill indicating $0.00 balance. Still not thrilled with the over all experience but they did make it right in the end.

Terrible terrible company to work for, even worst to hire to do work for full of lies and empty promises. All this company cares about is numbers not quality. With NYC territory being a disaster with not having a license from April 2015 to currently (end of September 2015) and triple digit violations from prior projects resulting in electrical fires and many other issues, due to inexperience workers who are not electrician. Why would you ever give business to these people. They oversell their system so you buy dated safe harbor panels so they make more money paired with underutilizing microinverters which are known to fail. Their company is so unorganized expect for them to visit you countless times even after full installs to fulfill their corporate needs of receiving loaners funds. I personally worked there for nearly 6 month so what I stated is the ugly fact this company is crooked I no longer work there becuase I can not agree with a company founded by a criminal who follows illegal business practices or immoral decisions . NYC is currently having an unlicensed electrian run around working on all these prior violations.

I am so pleased with the installation of my new Solar system by Roof Diagnostics I cant stop raving about it to anyone that asks me. From the start, everything went smoothly and I was informed every step of the process via email or phone contact. The Reps are knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They get right on it when I had a question or concern. The installers were fantastic and treated my property as if it were their own. There too they led me through the process of how it was being installed, and my questions again were answered professionally and knowledgeably. If you are looking to get a Solar system installed I highly recommend Roof Diagnostics Inc. You will be treated with Gold Glove Service!

Not a fan of this company. May be I am one of the few, but, this company has given me misinformation, starting from town permits to timetable of work completion. Permits taking over 2 months...because they forgot to file it with the township. Having the town call me asking me block & lot number...just to find out they filed a permit for the wrong address. A 2 day job is taking 3 days...with no communication to me the customer. Now I had to re-arrange my schedule to get this project finished.. Not being able to talk to the VP who has me talking to everyone else but him. @ this point would not recommend them.

nrg is a scam artist company . their original company, roof diagnostics solar was brought on federal charges for tax fraud. the owner was indicted on tax fraud charges in 2013 and the fbi seized all their computers . and now i understand why. they never sent in my state tax w2s and i got audited. when i tried to reach them after many messages, they never called back.

Roof Diagnostics gave us a quick site survey telling us that we were an idea candidate for solar because of the lack of any blocking trees to our rooftop. We got teh installation done about 2 months ago and are totally satisfied with the results. Now we are just sitting back and waiting for the savings to rack up! Thanks Roof Diagnostics! -Mike

The installation last July went well. We have been saving money ever since. BUT a gadget that gives our internet production of Enlighten component died and their customer service refused to fix it. I had to buy a new power line communication bridge for $27 and put it in myself The moral is if you expect good customer service from NRG, DON"T!!!!

You as a company are not a responsibly, I have 6 month waiting for my installation, with the solar panels in my house and you company does not goes to install them. I called and you promise so many time to came home and finish the work.. I dont recommend nobody to Use your company to do this work at home..

Working with Roof diagnostics was easy with low pressure. The guys that worked on the roof were knowledgeable and very professional. Our electric bill went down immediately after the system was turned on. Took a little longer than I had hoped, but all in all a good experience.

Im so glad I decided to call these guys, I was dreading having to replace my roof and I can’t compliment them enough for how easy they made the process. Kelcy and all of the staff over there are great to deal with, I would recommend them to anyone.

Very poor customer service had a problem with my roof took , them two months to come out to even see what was wrong I have a new problem .have no idea how long it going take for them to come out again. Do yourself a favor and do your research

Roof Diagnostics Solar did an outstanding job installing Solar on my house. I always wanted solar but did not think I could afford it. RDI gave me options for solar without having to spend a lot of money. I highly recommend them.

NRG Solar is not Roof Diagnostics. Most of the good reviews dont belong to NRG Solar. NRG has now shut down their Home Solar Department. Call SunRun.

This program kicks butt - we have gotten involved with helping others in our neighborhood go solar - Roof Diagnostics has paid us referral fees for this!
