The moving crew from Transtar made our move a better experience! After getting several quotes, I went with Transtar because their hourly rate was more economical and they offered a AAA discount. However, the crew that showed up made it all worth it! Ryan, Reese, Doug and one more (I lost my notes) were GREAT! They were on time, went over the job to know what to move and promptly got to work. The weather was damp and rain was eminent, so they worked non-stop (no breaks) to get it onto the truck, and into the new house as quickly as possible. They wrapped our belongings with care and made recommendations along the way. It was TWO FULL days of moving stuff. I made sure to request the same crew for both days. They made sure all the boxes were where we wanted them, offered to move furniture around in the rooms. It was an overwhelming 2 days but they sure helped by handling our belongings with care and moving it between the two homes as quickly and carefully as possible. We had NO mishaps or damages to report. Everything was is good shape. THANK YOU guys for all the help and hard work.

I PCSd back in the end of Jun 2016 from Ft Dix. The female Packers that came were all related to each other, from speaking with one of them. The small to medium boxes that were packed by them were taped and no sign of reopening when it arrived to final destination. I had items that were of high value come up missing. Items in the night table were packed in one box. My wife and I had forgot that we had gems in the night table. The gems were double boxed so you could not tell gems were in there unless you took time to check. My wifes hair appliance also came up missing that should have been packed. Other items that should have been packed with surrounding items in the smaller boxes have come up missing. The person I had spoken to arrived the second day and questioned why it took Packers so long to accomplish what they did the day prior. The person I spoke to was the person I signed inventory sheets with. Individual items in the smaller sealed boxes dont get inventoried. Be careful with Packers, keep an eye out. The Packers literally get to put hands on all your belongings.

We used Transtar to move us from our home of 30 years in Cinnaminson, NJ to Florida. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Their estimate is a not to exceed, so you know up front the costs. I went to the Moorestown location and they gave me lots of used boxes. I also bought some boxes. The picture frame boxes are great. The wardrobe boxes are sturdy and reasonably priced and make packing so much easier. The movers all wear Arpin shirts and are professional. They arrived early and quickly inventoried the house. I had a few boxes I was concerned with and they handled them carefully. They arrived safely. All the furniture was wrapped. We had one piece of furniture that had some minor damage. I called and they responded quickly with information on submitting a claim. I would recommend Arpin/Transtar to anyone moving. They do a nice job!!!

Transtar moved us out of our house and into storage for the time being. Everything went better than I could have hoped! The price was fair, communications both before and during the move were excellent. Ryan H., Dave R., Reese H. And Lee B. did an excellent job for us. They arrived right on time, toured the house with us and got right to work. The team has neat, friendly & courteous, very efficient, and finished 15 minutes ahead of schedule. All furniture was disassembled and well-wrapped, floor were covered and large pictures and mattresses boxed-up. It was a pretty hot day and we have a lot of furniture & boxes that required 1 3/4 straight trucks. We had no problems at all. When we get to our new house we are looking forward to the same great experience with Transtar.

I have used Transtar Moving Systems 2x in the last two years. The first move was a local move and the other was to transport furniture ftom Florida to NJ. Both times were fabulous. The care for the customer was obvious. The professionalism , promptness, courteousness were 5 star. Every thing to the finest detail was taken care of. NOTHING was damaged . I worked with Patrick Sipera who guided me both times . He was available for even the smallest question or concern. He was honest , polite and very concerned that I was happy. I must say that they know their job and they do it with excellence. Their pricing was excellent as well. If you need a mover, TRANSTAR is the way to go. You wont be unhappy with the decision .

We moved something more than a roomful of furniture, weighing approximately 3,000 pounds, from Southern New Jersey to midcoast Maine a few weeks ago. All the people we dealt with at Transtar were very nice and highly professional. When our shipment arrived, the driver told us that one piece, a custom made end table, had been damaged in transit with a leg broken off. Having taken replacement cost insurance, we filed a claim with photos of the damaged table and a similar used table selling on ebay for $499. We received a check for that amount within three weeks. Transtar was great; I would happily use them again!

Whether local or long distance, and even when moves involved a few stops along the way, they were attentive to details and always managed to get our belongings where they needed to be in good shape, and on schedule. The personnel we have worked with were careful and efficient. I was able to focus on all the other many things that required attention and really didnt have to worry about the movers. Terrible experience. Would never recommend. Moved from my home of 30 years in Delran to Lakewood NJ. They stored my furniture for less than a month. When furniture arrived there was major damage on almost every piece of furniture. Cracked dresser mirror, corners broken off of granite tabletops, missing lampshades. Pieces that Ive owned for over 30 years completely destroyed and irreplaceable. Filed a claim with them and all they offered was a $300 settlement for damages worth thousands of dollars. They never even sent anyone out to assess damage N

My family and I moved from South NJ to North of Philadelphia and Transtar was great every step of the way! Patrick was excellent with the initial estimate and responsiveness. The office was easy to work with and the moving team that helped was amazing. We moved during the recent NorEaster that hit the east coast and it didnt phase David Raymond or his guys one bit.
