The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. First we booked 2 cubes for a move well in advance. Was told we would expect the cubes in the morning before lunch. I FLEW 1000 miles back home early to wait for the cubes. Had a chair setup outside to save a spot by the apartment door for the cubes, nobody shows up. 11am call and told by dispatch they are on their way... oh would i mind rescheduling my drop off? Tell them no, when would it be here? Told its on the truck and by lunchtime, then its 3pm. Around 1 I call and told it would likely be there by 5, but really can i reschedule? Had U-Pack call their dispatch company as well, time table moves to 7pm on a Friday and we are moving cross country on Monday. Around 7pm and I get a call saying they need to reschedule to next Friday. Finally between dealing with U-Pack and the moving company I get that the driver will make it at some point that night, at this point Ive been sitting around looking like an idiot trying to save a spot for... 11 hours. So I goto a dinner my lab was throwing for me leaving, this was also after confirming with both U-Pack and dispatch that the driver will leave the boxes without me there. 20 minutes into dinner what do I get? A phone call from the driver saying he cant drop the boxes with me there... Ill say this that the driver himself was a wonderful person, waiting half an hour for me to rush back home, rearranged the boxes to make things easier (after we had to knock on a few doors to find someone willing at that time to move their car). Tells me he will put my papers on his managers desk so he knows Ill be the first pickup on monday morning. We call monday on our way out and schedule the pickup. We confirm it, we call later and reconfirm that someone will get it that day. What do I get 3 business days later? An email from U-Pack informing me I will be charged for not having my boxes picked up. That nightmare is over and have had around 2 months to recover. Now the new nightmare is beginning! My wife calls to schedule a drop off and change address as we now know the address of our eventual long term apartment. We check if they made the dropoff location change, and guess what? The second person we spoke to 3 hours later said the address was never changed, so we change it again. Finally the right address is in... good. Now we dont know the exact date of the storage start since the whole quackery that was the pick-up. We call to verify what we will owe by the 10th when the drop-off happens. We had two different people verify that our account is current and they will drop it off without any addition storage fees, which is important as we have been managing a cross country move on a shoestring budget. What do I wake up to this morning? An email for a credit charge by U-Pack for storage fees.... Given that moving is stressful enough, while there have been a few good people we dealt with like the delivery driver and other people havent had issues, I would never trust them with a move again or suggest anyone I know unless they have a good backup plan and not moving cross country.

Recientemente nos mudamos de Philadelphia a Colorado en Julio 2017. Lo unico que puedo decir es que fue la mejor opcion que encontre. El contenedor llego puntual a Philly y aunque el contenedor llego a Denver en viernes cuando aun estabamos en camino a Denver, no hubo ningun problema para recogerlo el martes de la siguiente semana. Pense que seria muy dificil lidiar con la mudanza, pero la compania (desde el chofer que dejo el contenedor en Philly hasta las personas que contacte por telefono) fue muy responsable. Very good experience. If you know how to pack, this is the best option...you pay for the space you used in the container. In both ends costumer service was very helpful. For being the first time using U-PACK and not having any issue that was awesome. God Bless You!

Worst freight company EVER! Our company installs lifts and we receive them from our supplier (Canada) through ABF freight. Within a 2 month period we received 5 lifts and only 2 of them were delivered as planned. (1) they wrote my number wrong, never informed me of the delivery and called me in my office only when the delivery was already there saying that the driver can not wait. (2) They shipped the wrong lift ! (3) They called to let me know that the lift is going to be delivered within an hour so i sent my crew to receive and install it! after my crew was there for like 2 hours they called me saying that they can not deliver because they had the wrong address and that they will have to send it to another terminal!!! Meanwhile my crew lost half days work which i have to pay. - Representative LINDA very rude not willing to help solve the problems - Driver DIMITRI very helpful and kind.

Amazing outcome - cross county move, 2 u pack containers and one trailer. Smooth. On time. UNBROKEN. Truly amazing outcome. Every single person we dealt with at UPACK in Philly and Oakland were professional - polite - knowledgeable - helpful. Excellent cross county move.
