I brought my Honda CRV in last week to fix a window which only required glue to fix. I needed my car back asap for a trip to D.C. which I told the mechanic. I get a call early next day that my car needed work on the front left and right and back right breaks. He asked if he could make the fixes but gave me no price specifications. I said it was alright so long as I got my car back at the designated time. The mechanic then orders the wrong parts of my car, three times in succession, and finally takes my car to some obscure town 30 minutes away to receive the correct parts. At this point in time, it was two days later and my car is still not fixed. When I called at 4pm to ask for an estimated time, the receptionist told me that she could not answer any of my questions because she did not know a thing about cars and the mechanic was taking my car to go get the necessary parts. I walk from my house to go pick up my car and look at the bill which sums to roughly $1200. I brought my car in to get the right window fixed and a few new windshield wiper blades and the cost was over ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS. He failed to mention any of this to me before he began making these fixes and ordering these parts. Reviewing the (poorly) hand-written receipt, I noticed that over half of the charges were service charges. Hundreds of dollars in charges for putting glue on my window and changing the windshield wiper blades. I get into my car and the side-view mirrors and rear-view mirror have all been adjusted, the seat has been adjusted, and loud country music and blasting (I do not listen to country music) from the radio. Clearly he had spent a lot of time in my car... There are dirty shoe marks all over my car and dirty finger marks on the windows (although upon inspecting the interior of the auto shop itself, I am not surprised) **THE BEST PART** I drive for about twenty minutes to a location in Woodbridge and when I get out of my car, I smell a putrid chemical exhaust odor and notice that the hood of my car is smoking completely. Luckily it dissipates within the hour, enough for me to bring it to a different, more reputable shop to handle. As if that was not enough, a friend in the passenger seat couldnt open the door from the inside because the mechanic failed to properly re-install the locking mechanism of the door, thus the front passenger door could only be opened from the outside. I brought my car back in to the original shop, and by the grace of god they didnt slap me with another $100 service charge to fix their own mistake but not a single expression of "Sorry, our mistake" or "Our apologies for the inconvenience". Other notes: I do not have a problem with drinkers, but please do not consume alcohol while working with heavy machinery. While Im not sure if its exactly illegal, I think its just dangerous and unprofessional. At least hide it better. You would benefit from training your receptionist to at least comprehend the work being done, or provide her with simple information to help customers. Unless I missed the memo, it wasnt Bring-Your-Son-To-Work-Day so while Im trying to pay for these inflated reparation and service fees, I would deeply appreciate if your child werent trying to speak to me about how his smartphone is better than mine. FINAL STATEMENT: If you want to have more problems coming out than you had going in, and tons of money to blow, this is the perfect, PERFECT place to bring your car and wallet to die.

Dont go here!!! Yeah theyre friendly and all, but I recently dropped my car off there for atleast 3 days for a blinker problem, and also because my car was making a weird noise when driving. Tony, the guy who runs the shop, said he would check to see if the noise was there after he worked on it. After three days nothing had been done. The blinkers still didnt work, and he never even test drove it to see about the noise. Brought it to a way better place, Brothers Auto, and they said that my wheel was about to fall off because of stripped screws and loose lug nuts!!! Tony charged me 100$ and didnt fix jack! Granted, the electrical problem with blinkers can be tricky, but he never called me or anything for updates. I am glad I took it back when I did, he probably would have charged me hundreds for his supposed hours of work". Also, he lied and said he put in a new relay when actually he didnt!! Such bad business. Dont go there!

Could not have had a better experience! I know absolutely nothing about cars, and they took the time to explain to me every aspect that had to be worked on, making sure I understood. Their prices are very reasonable and they provided me with a detailed cost breakdown, so there were no surprises on the bill. Their customer service is spectacular as they were incredibly friendly and went out of their way for me. Even though they close at 4pm on Fridays, they stayed until after 5pm to make sure that my car was finished the same day as I brought it in. After they fixed up my car, they then explained to me how to prevent problems in the future. As long as I am a student at Rutgers, I am definitely going here for all of my future car needs!

Go somewhere else. The owner gets incredibly annoyed if you ask him any questions, especially about specific prices of services, which is kinda an important part of our transaction, right? They lost me as a customer because of this (after years of getting oil changes there). I switched to Schwartz and Nagle in Highland Park, and couldnt be more satified. They were fair, quick, and answered all of my questions without being rude.

A friend of mine that used to go to Rutgers recommended this place to me, saying they were great. Boy, he wasnt kidding. They went above and beyond what they needed to do to make sure my car was fully functional again. On top of that, they were very fast, very easy to work with, extremely courteous, and had good products. Definitely coming back here again if I have car problems.

This customer service was abysmal. Reserved a U Haul. No one was on site to find keys that were not put in proper place. No one would answer phones. U Haul corporate was unable to contact any employee via cell phone. I will never use and will actively tell others not to use this horrible place. I expect their other services are as poor. Avoid this place at all costs.
