If I could give this place a negative star I would. This place is HORRIBLE!!! I go to pick up my car after work at 630 and stand in line for about 20 minutes until someone acknowledged that I was standing there waiting to pay. After waiting for the guy who was about 100 yrs old finally checked me out I went over to my car went to start it, put my foot on the break and it went all the way to the floor. Now my car was there for a simple tire swap. Take off the winter and put on the summer. Very simple and quick. No one should have touched my brakes. So I get out and walk into the garage and tell one of the mechanics I have no brake fluid and my pedal went to the floor. He brings me to the front and to the manager. Another tech looks at the car and says the brake line broke. How in the world does a brake line break when it shouldnt be touched for a tire change. So I get mad because if I didnt know that there was something wrong I could have drove away and gotten into an accident. The manager did nothing and said that it wasnt their fault these break all the time. After I say no I just changed them and put on steel threaded ones, he brings to the back and attempts to "explain" why it wasnt there fault. Now I dont know everything about cars but I know a little bit and he was talking out his butt. He had no clue how brakes worked at all. So after being stranded there for 4 hours the guys at Sunoco by where you get onto 17 South went to Clifton autozone, after the manager said there were no brake lines for my car in the state of NJ and I have to wait till Monday until they can special order one, got me a brake line and installed it for me. So if you value your safety PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT go to this sears! Go to the guys at Sunoco, they were quick and came out to fix my car at 930 at night on a Saturday!!

Used this location for most auto needs off and on over the last 15 years. Being a close town resident it is convenient to drop the car here sometimes for basic service. Having the mall there is good too if you need to kill time waiting. Recently had a dead battery the wouldnt hold a charge after 3 years and the exchange for a new one at a prorate was easy. I called up, they looked up my car and when I bought the battery and confirmed I was still covered for a prorated new battery, to bring it in. Drove right over and they tested it which took 5 minutes and only had to pay about $60 for a new $140 battery. This was probably the quickest Ive been in and out here. Just fyi, they stopped offering prorated warranties on batteries so either your battery dies within 3 years now and they give you a new one at no cost OR you have to buy a new one at full price. Both a positive and negative would be that they take their time with each customer, almost at a snails pace. Sure that is nice when you are being helped, but man can it be painful standing in line for 10 minutes just 6 feet from the register and only one or two people being helped. Especially if you are just dropping off or picking up your car with an appointment and their is a line. You need to expect to have to wait. Not the warmest customer service usually but also havent had any rude experience. Its a typical auto shop business. Most of the time they want to provide extra services and upcharge the sale, but cant blame them. They arent too pushy about it either which is good.

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism this place calls Customer Service. First off avoid Karen and Greg. Wait never mind just avoid this place all together. If you think you can come in and just purchase tires without an ordeal guess again. The Sears name has been tarnished by people who lack training, knowledge and a drop of common sense. Went online and found the tires I want with an Online Price. The sears sales woman said she would match the price and wasted an hour and a half of my time sitting on the phone doing all these weird maneuvers only to ring up my order and charge my $70 more then the online price she said she would get me. After I complained the price she CHARGED me for is still higher then what I presented her she began to make unkind remarks. Furthermore my shopping night ended with not having my tires priced matched to the online price. Karen opening up a Credit Card for me at Sears without the advertised 0% interest rate like promised because she couldnt even do that correctly which resulted in having to make an extra phone call tonight in order to correct her mistake. Anyway if you have any doubt the reviews arent true guess again they are most likely all valid. I am sorry Sears Fire the people working at this location and start Fresh.

I would rate this Sears Auto 0 stars if I could. If youre going for something as simple as an oil change I would suggest going elsewhere. Went in for a 10am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation which realistically should not take more than about an hour, hour and a half tops. I was told they were down 5 technicians (3 were on vacation and 2 called out - poor staffing) and it would take a little longer than expected, but was "promised" to be done by 12pm. My car was not taken into the shop until after 1pm. Each time I asked how much longer I was told a time which ended up being longer. My car wasnt done until 2pm. Upon checkout my receipt then states my "promised" time as 2pm. Go to That 10 Minute Oil Change....it actually takes 10 minutes, unlike 4 hours.

I had all 4 tires replaced, when I picked up the car one of the tires were flat. I waited another 45 minutes for the tech to locate and fix the problem. I returned again and another tire is losing air I was told by the store manager there is a problem with the sensor in a different tire and the cost to replace is $200.00. I do not trust the service of the Paramus Park, NJ store and will not be returning. I would have liked a comprehensive review of my tire system for the $600.00 I spent. I also would like to mention the employees Pauline, and the Manager was not very helpful.

This is the worst place to do any work on car.Waited two hours for oil change.Rude customer service.I let my Groupon coupon go.Told one hrs max and my car was still on parking after one and half hour. This is my first and last time dealing with sear auto. Dont deserve a star.I will give them negative stars and warn others ,think twice even before making appointment.Even after appointment if we have to wait one and half hour then its better to go other places.Dont buy any coupons from Groupon because its not worth it.

No matter what time of the day you get there expect to stand aimlessly in the showroom waiting for at least 30 mins before someone acknowledges you are there. Imagine the slow moving line at the dmv and add the added mayhem because no one is in a line so you have no idea who is next. Even after the work is completed, car is finished and I am waiting for an hour just to pay. Unless you have an entire day to kill find someplace else. Whoever manages this store needs a replacement. Their process is terrible
