I honestly dont know where all these great reviews came from and it makes me wonder if this shop changed ownership since. I didnt even get a chance to bring my truck into Rajan Auto Repair because I was never called back with a quote and then when I finally reached someone, I was hung up on while I was trying to negotiate a price for repairing my truck. I drive an older truck and I know its not rocket science to fix. There are no computers and the mechanics inside are very straight forward. After shopping around, I knew how much the part I needed was and how much the labor should cost, especially after having had a lot of different repairs done to my truck in the past and researching the specific one I need this time. Rajan Auto was trying to charge me more than double the amount than other mechanics Ive spoken to and when I told them this over the phone, I was given no explanation and I was rudely hung up on. Needless to say, I really dont dig this style of business. Who knows, maybe youll have better luck than me, but I wouldnt chance it with these guys.

This is the first time I have taken the time to review a business, and thats because this has been one of the best experiences with a car repair place that Ive ever had. The first time I took my car to Rajans, he quoted me significantly less on one aspect of the repairs that the dealership had quoted me on, and told me that the other very expensive issue the dealership was trying to get me to pay for was not even a problem. He fixed up the issue and the car drives great. The second time the car had an issue, same thing. Fast, courteous, and attentive to the issue. I will be taking my business to him for as long as Im in the area.

Used to go there all the time. Once took the acura which had problem with air conditioning. Without checking anything else he just replaced the freons. Okay the air was cooler again, buit within a few days same air conditioning problem. Then took it to Pepboys, they showed me that there was a little pipe underneath which connects to the a/c system and it was broken and hence was the leak. After that was fixed, no further problem with A/C. He could have looked for other causes of leak! I was disappointed! :-(

Me and my family have been going to Rajan and Pappu since 1998 when it was Getty gas station. I usually list my repairs/services with them and hand my keys over. I have never had to get the same repair done twice. Rates are very reasonable and if they cant fix it or cant guarantee a repair they will let you know up front. They will also let you know upfront is something DOESNT need to be repaired, especially on older cars where its not worth the money. Absolutely reliable and trustworthy shop.

This is one of the most honest garage I have been to in this country. I took my two cars to 3 services at Rajan auto. Both my cars are old (year 2000, 2001). Every time the repair cost was reasonable (after comparing to quotes from other mechanics and online search for parts etc.). Once my check engine light was fixed and it stayed fixed. In past I know some guys just shut the check engine light off and it turns back on again after 100 miles. This means that this guy knows his stuff.

Great Quality service in Quick time with a reasonable price. Very genuine person,asolutely no cheating,very sincere and extremely knowledgable and fast. I live in PA but drive miles for oil change and for any repair because he is trustworthy. I have had terrible experiences in the the past with other automobile shops. This guy is the best I have ever seen in automobile services. The appearence of the place is deceptive! but are automobile repair shops supposed to be clean?!

Honest and Efficient people: I went to get my brake pads replaced as my dealer(read stealer) told me that they are worn out and I should get them replaced. Mr Rajan checked the pads and told me that I can easily go another 5000 miles before getting them replaced. He could have easily replaced the pads and made money, but he was honest enough to tell me that I dont need to spend the money right away.I highly recommend this place.

This is unbelievable. Exactly opposite of all the scum repairshop. Went to get my Jeep battery replaced, I was sure it was dying. Mr Pappu checked and told me not to replace it, instead of ripping me off like others. Also, had trouble with brakelights coming up very often on my Eclipse - he replaced the break fluid. And did not even charge anything! The quest for honest autorepair shop is over!

My family has been using Rajan Auto Repair for years (12+ years). These guys are honest, fast, and do a great job. They also dont overcharge and do unnecessary repairs. Their autobody work is fantastic. I even come back to them though I dont live in the area, as it is not easy to find a good honest mechanic. Not only that, when I was in a bind to sell my car, they helped us sell it within 3 days!
