Recently moved to Toms River, and I decided to look online for a local salon. This was for my boyfriend and myself, this is the first time he has had his hair cut since 1992 (A.K.A. a big deal), and I needed a cut for my long blonde curls and a dye one shade lighter (9) than my natural blonde (8), like usual. I wanted to find a salon he would feel comfortable in, and personally I cant stand these pretentious salons where they look at you funny if you havent maxed out your credit cards on designer clothes and accessories. I saw Expressions Salon here on google, and the reviews that existed were glowing. I saw pics of the salon, and it looked so professional yet also warm and friendly. I went to their website, and saw that the quality of their work was Be-a-utiful (did I mention the prices are the definition of reasonable?). We are SO SO happy I chose Expressions! Jamie (sp?) did both of our hair, not only was she an absolute lovely doll (the friendliest staff you could ask for), the quality of her work is OUTSTANDING! NO exaggeration. They arent lying when they say youll feel like a VIP. We WILL be back! I dont normally write reviews, but she took what could have been a stressful anxiety-filled experience and made it more wonderful than we could have asked for. My hair came out nicer than ever, and my boyfriend looks SO handsome with the Bradley Cooper hairstyle, she nailed it! Thank you Jamie!!!

Ive been getting my hair colored since I was 14. Ive had numerous salon experiences, but none like Expressions. Brittany has been doing my hair for about 3 years now and I couldnt imagine going to anyone else. Each time I get my hair done, it comes out flawless. Brittany really takes the time to listen and understand what her customers are looking for. I get compliments on my hair all the time! Brittany is a color expert and her blow outs CAN NOT be beat! The entire Expressions staff is excellent. I take my 3 year old daughter to get her hair done and they are great with her! Passing this Salon on Rt9 you would never expect what you find inside. Its very chic and welcoming and always clean. Their products are great! I love the shampoo and hair treatments and even styling products used for my normal wash cut and blowdryer. My daughter is four years old and has been there also for haircuts. Recently I had highlights done and I was very pleased with the service from Kristin. She did an excellent job! Definitely give this salon a try youll leave happy and looking FABULOUS!

I absolutely LOVE Lori, and the entire staff at expressions! I had very long, very dark hair, and Lori gave me the most amazing cut and color, transforming me to a blonde, bobbed bombshell! I seriously couldnt even believe that she was able to take my DYED brown hair so light! It just looks phenomenal, and i am so happy. I wish i could put my picture up next to this!!! I am never going anywhere else!!!

What an amazing Salon. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, offered me coffee or water and a light snack while I was getting my hair done. Ashley D. was my stylist and she did AMAZING and also other stylists came over every so often asking me if I needed any thing else. To me a whole staff that works together like that speaks volumes! Go there YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

My first time here and was not expecting such a personable and friendly experience! I got a wonderfully honest and thoughtful color consultation. I felt comfortable discussing what I wanted done and I also felt right at home in this adorable salon! Really happy with my hair and with everyone that works here. Definitely coming back :)

Where have these ladies been all my life!! They are so wonderful. I had Lori do the Hairdreams extensions and its truly a life changer. Its was such a great experience. I have been going to Brittany for 4 years now and cannot say enough good things about her! I first went to her for an ombre, then went dark and recently went lighter with highlights and Ive loved them all! I trust her completely and always know I am in good hands in her chair.
