Very disappointed. When we met with Mike OConnor before our move, we pointed out our cocktail table with a very heavy custom glass top. We arranged for Twin Oaks to pack the top as it is too heavy for us to pack. On the day of our move, the movers wrapped and packed it. At our new home, the movers unwrapped it and placed it on the table base. They took away their packaging. No one ever mentioned they had damaged it. One corner of the glass top is shattered, obviously dropped on that corner. The have contacted several glass companies who tell us the top cannot be repaired and the cost of replacing it with something similar is $1400. After weeks of waiting and unreturned calls, Twin Oaks sent us a check today for $72! This was the ONE item Twin Oaks packed and they totally blew it. Whats more, they must have known of the damage but said NOTHING to us. Instead, they left us to discover this very dangerous glass corner. This wasnt the only issue but it certainly is the most egregious one we encountered. I do not recommend.

Thieves...NEVER hire this company!!! They were hired for my military move from NJ to CO. My Samsung 32 in LED TV and my antique iron bed rails did not make it onto the inventory sheet and never made it to my home in Colorado. I am 100% sure that the Television and bed rails were in the storage unit before I moved. A television (still in the retail box) and heavy metal bed rails dont just go missing. I called twin oaks to ask them about the situation, after multiple calls and voicemails (none of which were returned), and all they did was talk to the owner and the movers who according to them are "stand up guys, and have been with the company for several years." How is that any sort of proof or evidence? They were not willing to do any sort of investigation, or compensate me in any way...not even a simple apology! I suggest that everyone does themselves a favor by never working with the Twin Oaks Moving Company.

Unprofessional. Complained the whole time about having to climb stairs. Told the management about stairs to give the guys a heads up and they failed to mention it to the movers. Told management that no bigger than a box truck was allowed on premises - well, they didnt listen. Although I listed it in my moving documents that no bigger than a box truck was allowed on apartment premises, they still brought an eighteen wheeler and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get in and out of the apartment complex because the truck was too big. Had the apartment staff not been on a work holiday, the truck would have never been able to deliver. Also, they didnt put down plastic and got mud and stains on new carpet. Unless you want clown management leading clown movers, I would stay away from these guys.

When handling boxes a man there decided it would be in his "best interest" to go through closed boxes. The outside of the boxes were CLEARLY labeled and there was absolutely no need to go through any of these boxes. He told me that he was "missing" parts to a table when those parts were literally not even five feet in front of him and I repeatedly told him "the table pieces are right there." Overall it wasnt a very nice experience and it leaves me questioning who Im leaving my things with and If they will be returned to me in one piece or returned at all...

Absolutely the best move we have experienced. We moved from New Jersey to Central Florida in less than 72 hours. We had nothing damaged. Everything was loaded and unloaded very carefully. We packed all small items ourselves but the the Twin Oaks crew made sure all was secure. They must have used 30 rolls of tape. They wrapped all furniture in heavy blankets and set every piece up in our new home. I would recommend Twin Oaks moving for any move - local or long distance

I had the best loaders and driver for my pcs move. Fast but very careful with my furniture. My rep from their booking department checked on us during the packing and loading process. I was concerned about going over my allowed weight the government authorized but the experience of the crew gave me their professional guidance and I was about 2k lbs under. I will request this company should I have to return to Joint Base Mcguire

Unprofessional moving company. Workers were careless with the items, and loud and obnoxious. We had damaged furniture and items, the movers threw items around and stacked items in the truck so that they got damaged. Very bad experience with them and I would not recommend using them.
