Dont trust the insurance you buy from UHaul. It doesnt cover the full vehicle. The customer service rep. at this location did not take the time to go over this with me and they never have when I have rented! Apparently the insurance does not cover the roof. I never hit the roof but hit the side of the van which apparently caused some roof damage. I was not sent photos on this or anything and now this insurance company is asking me or my personal insurance to pay $1,700 and change. I have rented at least 12 UHauls or more a year for the past 3 years and I doubt I will ever be back! But, I warn you to grill the customer service rep about what is covered because they certainly arent offering up this info freely.
