Ive been working with this post office for over 10 years. The staff is wonderful, accommodating and always helpful.The problem is that they are often seriously understaffed. They have to constantly multi-task and do several jobs at the same time. The customers they deal with are often very frustrated and very angry. I know. Ive waited in line many times only to see the workers harassed by people who are complaining about things for which the postal workers have no control over. I wish people would understand how hard these people work! And seriously, if you have a problem it almost never has anything to do with the postal worker but everything to do with the Postmaster General and the improper staffing schedule. So quit complaining and write a letter to make it count instead of leaving horrible reviews here because the postal worker was unable to help you with something that was completely out of his/her control. And just for the record, although there has been some improvement lately with staffing, really, Postmaster General can you staff the offices adequately so that when I come in with thirty packages to deliver, I wont have everyone behind me in line backstabbing me with their eyes because YOU fail to adequately staff the office!

Iv been tracking a package I have been waiting for. I received a text notification saying out for delivery. It never showed up but last notification said Picked up....wheres my package? UPDATE, I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I contacted USPS that same day and put in a claim and called back again this morning and was able to speak to customer service. A few hours later I was called and they were honest enough to let me know that the package was accedently handed off to the wrong carrier and apologize and told me it would arrive at 3pm today. Sure enough it arrived at the time they said. What I really appreciate is their honesty and made no excuses. I also realized that it is the end of tax season and they are being swamped with many calls and people being impatient with their tax returns and also thinking they can pick up tax forms there. Thank you Las Cruces USPS for the quick response and resolution, much appreciated! The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is the automated phone system. It needs an option to speak to a live customer service representative. I do hear it is in the process of being revised. Once again, thanks for the quick respond, resolution and honesty Las Cruces USPS.

I dislike this place. So far I have been misled twice by the Desk Representatives. I came up to them inquiring about my GENERAL DELIVERY mail not being received at my post office box. Both times the representatives simply told me to give it another week. Finally I called the 3rd week and the manager reported that you have to go downtown to the main post office to pick it up. Why didnt they tell me that in week 1? I go down there, and they returned it as not picked up. Hooray for mismanagement, and hooray for shoddy postal workers. Was expecting important forwarding mail, but who cares, because the workers at this office are careless. Had I not been misled by careless workers who are lazy, I would have received important mail that affects my housing situation this Christmas. I notified the supervisor, and have spoken with STEVE, the manager of this office. He is aware of the problem. In my opinion, these workers ought to be fired, and they should do a re-hire. Theres plenty more competent folks who need the job.

I was expecting a package from FedEx but as it turns out it was handed off to the post office. It went out for delivery yesterday but when I didnt get it I went online and checked only to see that it was labeled as Undeliverable as Addressed, No such Address. But somehow the MORON delivering the item was able to deliver my mail. I get mail but no package?????? Fourteen years at this address and they cant find someone to reliably deliver my mail and packages? UPDATE: It was the BACKUP carrier, which would of course explain how out of the blue the carrier suddenly forgot how to deliver a package and mail to the same address. Lazy and no work ethic. So this review is not for service in general but the individual with no pride or care for what they do and the people affected.

I had very disappointing encounters. My mail was officially requested to be held when I was away out of the country. In spite of this a package was delivered to my door step and it is recorded to have been delivered with the date and time. But when I returned the package was lost. Also all the mail I asked to hold is lost without a trace. When I asked at the counter they say they have to talk to the courier who delivers in the morning and get back to me. But it is 2 weeks now, no one got back to me. I complaint to the USPS over the phone and they keep giving me a complaint number, but no action taken so far. I cannot believe this is happening in the USA postal service!! Very disappointing and discouraging.

Tired of these lazy people went to go check my mail and my mail was on top of the mailbox out in the open. We have the mailbox with a key sharing it wit others and not just that Im home and they dont knock to see if Im home to drop off my packages, they leave me the slip to pick it up the next day. This is getting so fustrating I talked to someone and it didnt seem like I did. Today my package was supposed to get delivered and I didnt have to sign anything I was tracking it and I checked and it said unable to deliver it just gets me so mad these people need to hire people that actually want to work and care about others instead of just working for pay and being lazy.

This post office is one of the hardest working post offices I have ever been apart of. Every time I go in for something the workers are prompt to find out my needs and timely in processing my requests. They always can help me and if they cant they find someone or something that can be of assistance to me. For working 9 to 15 hour shifts daily, they keep a strong, friendly appearance when I know that they are physically and mentally exhausted. I bet 70 percent of individuals would not be able to do the job they do as well as they do it. Keep up the good work all you postal workers. You have someone on your side always.

I love this Post Office from the physical location (Conveniently located), the cleanliness, my PO BOX is great but with all that having been said, most of the workers are absolutely terrible! They are there to serve the public, thanks to us they have a job but instead of being nice and courteous they have hideous faces from the moment you get there. They back talk and have no respect for the customer. Now there are some good workers in there but a few can ruin it for everyone. Other than the workers I absolutely love this Post Office!

I really wish I could give no stars. This post office is terrible. They have lost probably more packages then I have received. Are the reason why one of my credit cards was stolen and maxed out (delivering it to a completely different address). The worst part is I have told them multiple times not to leave the packages in the yard as they can clearly see that I have a dog but continue to do so. I have even put up a sign to not leave packages in the yard but I guess they cannot read. This post office is terrible.
